Very nice hotel, it was just near the sea so very convenient. Attention to access the island you need to not miss the ferry as there is not that much and you might need to wait a lot for next one.

This is a wonderfully relaxed hotel . The central facilities ( restaurant , lounge, bar, entertainment area ) are on two levels and nestle into the bay whilst the bedroom accommodation is in groups of villas that blend well into the surrounding houses, that face into the beautiful horseshoe bay. The all inclusive arrangement where meal times are well spread out means the restaurant is never too busy . An excellent place for a relaxed holiday

Took a trip here after a few days in Dubrovnik because we wanted a calm place to relax and let me tell you that this was just it. The hotel is located right on the beach which offers stunning views. The room was clean, food delicious but the biggest plus for us was the staff. All of them were so lovely, kind and helpful, absolute superstars. Would highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back.

The location is wonderful with beautiful views. Very peaceful and tranquil. The whole complex is kept very clean, with exception of the bar, where the tables were not cleared and dirty. The entertainment was very hit and miss, although we enjoyed the quizzes and bingo. Chloe is very cheerful and approachable, ready to answer any questions - a lovely girl. The towels in the rooms are worn out and smell of grease, so we ended up taking pool towels up for showers. The shower gel and hand wash in the room are poor quality. The fridge only had water, no soft drinks or beers. While we were there, there were a lot of storms, which made the pool very murky for 5 days until it was finally drained and refilled. Although it was deemed safe to use, I certainly wouldn't have got in. The ball day beds are expensive at 75 euros, especially when you just get fruit and prosecco as extras, both of which are freely available throughout the day. Perhaps a choice of bottled wine and even offering perhaps a cheese board etc would improve the experience. We did enjoy the island and our holiday, the staff and reps work tirelessly. Special mention to the chefs, wonderful food with a great variety every day, thank you all. Will we return? Not sure.

The hotel is set on a beautiful island of kolocep . A short boat transfer from the port of Dubrovnik . Set on hill , generally meaning a few steps to your room (could be quite a few) .. rooms are small but adequate.. tv, fridge and shower and a large wardrobe.. Beds comfortable enough..Personally i would say the hotel would suit older people (were late 50s ) as there only a small bar , shop and restaurant nearby .the Pool was pleasant. Enough seating & beds to always find a spot .pool bar did its job , but not the best of the bars ( that was the terrace bar ) . The beach in front of hotel is small but really nice .. the sea and vista is amazing. Its a walkers heaven and we thought/think we found a small slice of paradise.. The staff were nice and friendly.. Now my downside .. the food although plentiful was very samey over the week and just never hot, apart from the one cooking station that had limited choice , so we both struggled to find a “a hot meal” we both enjoyed So s 4* rating for a 4* hotel .. the island 5* We loved it .. thank you

Location good overlooking the sea with stunning sunsets. Step out of the hotel over a footpath with access to the beach. This is an adults only hotel but because you are so close to the beach which is open to the public , it can become quite noisy at times from the children throughout the day. Stayed in better 4 star hotels. Overpriced holiday for what it was. Areas around the complex not well maintained: broken and uneven paths, ripped sun umbrellas and weeds everywhere. Disappointed that this was an all inclusive yet to use day beds there were additional charges. There were paddle boards and kayaks on the beach just beside the hotel. We used both during our time here but that was also at an additional charge. The food was very good, especially the beef goulash and the desserts. The fresh fruit throughout the day was delightful. Breakfast was very good and the chef did a great job at fresh crepes, eggs and omelettes. Most of the staff were friendly although overworked and short staffed. The barman around the pool was miserable but apart from that everyone else was pleasant. The rooms were spacious and clean. Happy with my room. Housekeeping did a great job. We upgraded to a room with a balcony and sea view but did not benefit from this as our balcony was overlooked and not private. It seemed very overcrowded around the pool, with sunbeds almost on top of eachother and difficult to get a sun lounger after breakfast. The sun loungers were not the most comfortable but the pool was a nice size and cleaned every night. There were lots of bees around the bar and pool but they weren’t a problem as didn’t really bother you. Dinner at the Cullarium was delicious and the service very good. The highlight of my holiday was dining here watching the sunset. This is a must. Book your table for 7.30 and you won’t be disappointed. We took a day trip to Dubrovnik old town by getting the public ferry from Kolocep which was fantastic. We walked the walls of the old town which would recommend. Get the first ferry to get there early to avoid midday crowds and the heat. All in all enjoyed my holiday and my experience of Croatia.

This Island was a great getaway, total relaxation, warm and friendly. Staff at hotel were very accommodating (TY is very knowledgeable). Croatia Old Town is a must for Game of Thrones fans. Blue lagoon trip is good if you are a good swimmer. Only downside is getting to and from Island, you are left to your own devises.

A stunning location, especially when all of the day trippers have disappeared. If you want peace and tranquillity this could be the place for you. Booked with TUI, logistics were not really explained ahead of our stay, we flew on a TUI flight, there were 3 TUI flights that landed at a similar time and about 100 people transferred to the island at the same time, firstly by coach to Gruz port (approx 25 minutes) where you then board the boat which is specially chartered. I don’t see the advantage of a private transfer from the airport, the boat doesn’t leave until everyone is present, so you are gaining nothing by arriving at the port separately. If you are arriving with another carrier, eg EasyJet, I believe that you transfer on the local ferry but I am happy to be corrected on that point. When you arrive on Kolocep it is a short walk to the hotel. At this point I would like to stress that anyone with any kind of mobility issue will struggle with the location, from getting on/off the boat to walking around the hotel which requires navigating inclines and steps to get to the accommodation blocks and facilities. There are no lifts. We arrived ahead of the official check in time and having read previous reviews took swimwear and the necessary accessories so that we could immediately relax. It is worth noting that although our room was available after we had lunch, our luggage still hadn’t been delivered so I was grateful for the advice of previous guests. Tip: do not remove the airline’s luggage label when you arrive in Dubrovnik, this is used to marry up your baggage to your room. We had booked a standard double room, it was clean, spacious and airy. There is plenty of hanging space and drawers with a safe provided free of charge in the wardrobe, and an umbrella too (thankfully it wasn't required). There is no amenity kit in the bathroom, the hairdryer is adequate. Bathroom towels just about cover your modesty. The bed (double) wasn’t brilliant, it was a king size but only a queen size duvet provided – really not good enough. The pillows were soft and well past their sell by date. Bizarrely the net curtain on the window was about a foot too short so we had to have the curtains semi closed. The balcony just about accommodates 2 chairs and affords no privacy from adjacent rooms. The fridge contained 4 bottles of water that were replenished daily, it would have been nice to have also had some soft drinks provided, maybe even a beer too. There is a kettle, tea and coffee were initially supplied but thereafter we had to help ourselves to rations from the restaurant. Pool towels are provided in reception and are in plentiful supply, but it is frowned upon to take them to your room and when I was given our room key, I was forbidden to collect a couple! I really don’t understand why they issue towel cards. The pool is clean opens at 0800 every morning at which point towels are laid down, it is supposed to be monitored but I saw a lot of evidence of

Beautiful island location transfers ran smoothly. Food was good a lot of choice and the service from staff excellent. We explored the island which is beautiful. Only a few quibbles. Not enough toiletries in room. Would be nice to have a few extras in fridge in room not just water. Definitely recommend this hotel and will return one day
