The hotel is very nice, the staff are very helpful. My only critisism is that the hotel is starting to get a bit old and it needs to be renewd

Definitely not 5 star. Positives - lovely setting and breakfast choice good. . Negatives- We arrived late evening due to flight time and had 10 mins before the hotel buffet service (only option given) closed. We were charged €50 per head for a quick dash to grab a tepid plate full of food. We thought this extreme and maybe should have been offered a reduction considering the amount of time we had to have any of the food left on offer. I asked for an iron to borrow and was told they would bring one to my room the next morning when available. Nothing appeared nor did they offer any apology or explanation. Room nice but mould in bathroom and definitely not 5 star in our opinion. Pool bar service is poor. We sat for some time waiting for a waiter to take a drinks order (twice). We asked a passing member who told us a colleague would come over! He never appeared! We gave up and left counting 8 waiters around the bar as we left! ! This is supposed to be 5 star service! The three pools area are lovely to be beside if you like the music from midday when the aqua aerobics starts followed by a constant beat from the DJ’s music until 2.15 every day. We booked with Tui and the description stated the hotel was within a short stroll to local bars and tavernas. There is only actually one taverna just across the road called Romeo’s. So if you are B & B you have to get on a bus into Kos town (10 -15mins journey) to eat. (Lots of choice there mind) you can pay to eat at the hotel but the dress code is trousers for men ! Disappointed.

This is my second time visiting the hotel and it never fails to disappoint! We decided to upgrade to all inclusive this trip and it is definitely worth it, we got to eat at each of their different restaurants ( 1950s bar & Asian restaurant were our favourites!) - Breakfast buffet is amazing with plenty of choices! - Great selection of wines and cocktails, as well as juices and non alcoholic drinks. - Rooms are lovely and clean. Overall staff are so wonderful and friendly, they really do their best to meet your needs and go above and beyond for you! It’s in a great location with only a short trip into Kos town, and there’s a small mini mart 5 mins down the road with snacks and drinks if you wanted to stock up your room.

Currently by the pool on last day of our 9 day Holiday which we have all thoroughly enjoyed whilst I write this review. Reception at hotel was quick and efficient on arrival. Rooms were clean and functional and typical of Greek accomadation we have experienced before. Food in a la carte restaurants was excellent. Lagoon buffet restaurant was very good for a AI buffet breakfast and dinner but it can get very busy at certain times but experience tells me eat early or late as this is always the case at AI buffets and if you overload your plate with 20 items don’t complain it’s repetitive,(There was always pasta/Fish/Meat/Vegetarian and a couple of speciality dishes)plus a vast variety of salads/Fruit and veg. Maybe it would help with the “ repetitive” perception of the buffet if food stations were separate on speciality theme nights ie Chinese/Indian and if some kind of menu could be introduced and displayed at the entrance or on the app,to mitigate the repetitive feeling. Pool bar and snack bar excellent and no issue for our family of 6 getting sunbeds by the pool. All staff we engaged with were excellent but some are happier/more chatty than others but that’s human nature. 1930s cocktail bar was top class in every aspect, We probably wouldn’t come back but only because we like different places and the words a big place. In summary if you embrace the holiday you will have a wonderful time and with a few tweaks it could be even better in my opinion,

Firstly we would like to thank you for the late meal on arrival and the beautiful birthday cake. Definitely not 5 star, based on our experience, our room was ok except for the noisy cicada insects constantly making a noise for about 12 hrs a day, was torture at times, so rather than chilling on patio having a few beers, we either had to go out or shut the patio door. Yes we could have asked to move, but we couldn’t do with the hassle. Studio ok ish, some linen we noticed when changed had brown stains on them, not washed properly, unable to sleep properly passed 8:00am due to cleaners making noise in the lobbies. Food was repetitive, sometimes undercooked, we went half board, the restaurant set up did not work for us, the lay out not clever, as mentioned lots of flies, even when food been freshly cooked. Enjoyed the soups, and fresh fruit though. Drinks about same price as UK. Most of staff are polite and friendly, some struggle to understand English. Had four attempts to get the drink I ordered one night. On one evening a a few nights been at this hotel, unfortunately a staff member decided to be clever and upset quite a few guests at evening meal, it was 33c still late on, but she requested all males wear long trousers, as per rules but ladies were allowed to walk around the dining area some in cut off hot pants, myself and some others found this rather sexists and hypocritical as they only told so many, this caused a real problem to the management, but he said it was ok to wear smart shorts not swim shorts though but as they wasn’t enforcing it universally as per rule, I would have done so no problem if everyone did, surprisingly the lady was never seen again in the dining area and normality resumed. The brochure says tavernas restaurants and shops 300m, one taverna and one shop. Not a lot to do outside this hotel within walking distance, that’s disappointing, taxi or bus into Kos Town, if you want some nightlife. Entertainment limited at night also. The complex is really big, it’s great for families , loads of pools and lovely snorkelling beach. Remember other people love this hotel, return year on year, we loved the pool area, but not quiet for us. to want to return. But thanks for having us

First family holiday with our toddler (under 2). Overall 4/5 good stay and would recommend but still feel lacking in areas. Good: - Food fresh and absolutely delicious. Breakfast and lunch in particular lots of choice and couldn’t fault. Dinner in the evening could have been better in terms of vegetable choice. - Wouldn’t recommend for allergies - my little one has a dairy and egg allergy and it was difficult offering him choice. The chef offered to cook fresh separate things but keeping a toddler entertained whilst that was cooked wasn’t an option for us however kind that was. - Asian restaurant included in all inclusive is exceptional along with the Italian. - Gardens and general hotel beautiful and gardens are maintained well and look pretty. - Pools are nice but just wish they were heated slightly and weren’t saltwater. Lazy river doesn’t really drag you so not sure why it’s described as a lazy river! Negatives - Rooms are underwhelming and need improvement. Nothing major but for the money would expect more. - Kids activities - so much potential yet not great? Grecoland was empty most of the time despite having stuff willing to play and help. Also why oh why is the play area astroturf which gets boiling in the sun?! Doesn’t make sense. On a cloudy morning we took our toddler down for a play and he loved it. Unfortunately when the sun came back out we had to take him away as was too hot. Not advertised enough and needs a lick of paint to freshen up. - Kids disco is the worse one I’ve ever seen. No one knows about it and it’s set in a conference room in a business style. Not fun and not inviting. Was empty every night most of the time. - Entertainment doesn’t start until 10pm every night which isn’t ideal if you have children that need to go to bed. There isn’t even any pre entertainment like a piano background noise etc which would have been nice. Lobby is lovely to sit in but lacks enough seats. Would recommend to stay but after staying in an Ikos hotel this doesn’t compare. Would have expected slightly more for the money and expectation from the advert.

This is definitely not a 5 star hotel! Our room was tired and dated & only accessible by steps despite requesting a low floor as we have an infant. Therefore we had to carry the pushchair & infant up and down a flight of stairs each time we went to and from the room. Cleaning and maintenance standards are also far below what I would expect of a 5 star hotel, with dirty cups placed back and soap left in the dish all week to go brown. There was a glass table in our room where the glass wasn't fixed to the base, so our toddler leant against it and it nearly fell on him. The food is OK, although lacks variety and is mostly the same items each day. Make sure you go down for breakfast before 9am as after this time it's unbearably busy and there are queues. The location also isn't great, with no nearby shops or restaurants, so nowhere near to explore. Kos is a busy 20 min bus ride away or a taxi ride. The staff are very friendly, but there is no sense of urgency and very rarely are you asked if you want a drink at breakfast/dinner and we had to fetch our own.

This is not a 5 star hotel! The floating restaurant and entrance are the only nice things. Rooms are dated, children woke up with ants in their bed!! Ants in bathroom crawling on your tooth brush! Reception sent house keeping to spray them it done absolutely nothing but make our room a choking hazard! Pool edges are sharp! Kids pool is dangerous it has rocks built around it so naturally toddlers want to climb it! Lazy river is so lazy it doesn’t move. Food is repetitive same food every night with a side of flies. Fish is left on the side in the heat. Reception staff aren’t helpful at all when you have issues with your room they just shrug it off and try to downgrade your room with not enough beds to accommodate your family! It’s also not disabled friendly with minimal railings around the pool area to the toilet. Fridge was replenished every day apart from the day before we leave because apparently you don’t get thirsty on that day? Toddlers cot sheets wasn’t changed once in the whole ten day stay. Children’s entertainment was horrendous I’ve seen better in social clubs. Adults entertainment was an hour long. Nothing to do around the pool apart from the same 2 activities day in day outttttt 🥴 Unless you’re going out in a taxi you’re bored, can’t rely on taxis either so couldn’t book a day trip to ensure we was there on time. Shop in the hotel was charging €50 for some of the floaties. Was also told the nearest shop was a 30 min walk away…..there’s one across the road. It became ground hog day. I never write bad reviews but honestly save your money and go elsewhere. Picture of the room they tried to give us for 5!

From the moment we arrived, the hotel looked fantastic and the staff were superb!!. We went all inclusive plus and used the al'carte few times. The hot stone was superb as was the Asian returants. No problem with sunbeds . The views from the beach are spectacular!. Our room was great , sea views, only downside was no full length hanging space for evening dresses !. Spent a lot of time socialising in the lobby bar and must say the staff there were fantastic and would like to thank them for making our holiday trip so great !!. Bus stop tokes town fight outside, sometimes busy but ok. Would defo recommend this hotel in the future!!. Thanks again to the staff for a great holiday!!.
