First time in Kos, we stayed for 7 days across the last week of September, first week of October. We were looking for a small resort with walking distance to a town, beach, shops and bars. This location is perfect, 20 mins into Kos Town and 10 minutes to the beach. Resort is really clean and tidy, but what really makes this resort are the staff. From breakfast time with Poppi and George taking us through to lunch (double espresso and a cola!) to the evening drinks and laughter with Stelios and Kyros. The team have every guest talking to one another, British, Dutch, German, and Scandinavian, all having a great time. Perfect time of year to go, weather was mid 20s, loads of space around the pool. Would highly recommend The Aagean Houses and are likely to return in the years to come. Keep up the great work guys Al & Rhe

What can I say, this place is amazing, but please don't book. We couldn't stay this year as it was full (hence the please don't book 😜) but we visited after the hotel we stayed in didn't live up to their hype. We were greeted like returning family and welcomed with open arms. Poppi, George, Stelios and Kyros all turned our frowns upside down. We had all inclusive at the other hotel but chose to spend our time and money at Aegean Houses. Their staff are all amazing and really care. I work in the luxury hotel industry in London and would be honoured to work with any of them. Although many hotels provide similar services, the teams are the differentiating factor, Aegean Houses has always employed great people but this year's team are the best yet!! We'll book for next year as soon as my boss let's me. See you soon. The best hotel in Kos but please don't book as I really need to stay there next year please...

The super friendly staff are what makes the aegean houses special. They went above and beyond to recommend food and drinks during our stay, all if which were lovely. Especially the coffee with ice-cream 😊

Even though it wasn’t an hassle free stay at Aegean Houses, the issues we encountered were sorted promptly and to our satisfaction. On arrival (01.30) we were met and checked in, we were shown a room that was downstairs below ground level and gave off a dungeon vibe and the big issue was the aircon wasn’t working. This made for a very poor night as the temperatures had been in the high 30’s. The following morning we asked for a room change and when the aircon would be working. The aircon was promised for 9.30am that morning, that happened and the room change took part the following day to a top floor room with a good view over mountains. Breakfast was ok, for €13 you get a buffet breakfast which isn’t full English but lots of fresh produce and good coffee. The room is a good size, a walk in living room with a sofa bed and a useful kitchenette. The bedroom as a large wardrobe with a safe, both back onto a balcony. The bathroom as a great shower and basin area. What made the stay is the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff, from the guy who checked us in, the receptionist, super friendly cleaners who did a great job. The bar staff and dining staff are amazing, always friendly and have time for you. I can’t recommend The Aegean Houses enough, with the money it cost for the whole package I can say this is the best value accommodation I’ve ever stayed in.

We booked to go here as the reviews were so good. The reviews were right! We had a wonderful time. The weather was beautiful throughout, pool clean and warm, food lovely. The best thing about the holiday were the staff. When we arrived we were greeted with a welcome drink. Within minutes we knew the names of 5 of the staff who had all introduced themselves. It is a 20 minutes walk to Kos town which is absolutely beautiful. It's about 5 minutes walk to the beach. My daughter, who is 15, said this would be her last holiday with us. With 3 days to go of a 14 night stay she said she will come away with us next year providing we go back to the same hotel (houses), so we booked again there and then whilst sat at the bar! A special shout out goes to 4 of the staff who were the nicest people you could wish to meet. Kyros, Stelios, Popy and George, thank you so much for looking after us throughout our stay and we'll see you next August!

ALL staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, rooms are kept very clean, hotel is overall very clean. Breakfast is really very good and offers lots of variety of international and Greek traditional dishes. It is 1.9 km from Kos City (walking distance) and very close to a supermarket (200 m) if you need anything. The food in the hotel is also very good, and the club sandwich was my favorite. Portions are huge - 2 can share! The pool is a good size and well maintained. Beware the early risers who leave their towels to reserve their beds. If you are not quick, you will not have a bed. There are balls and toys around the pool to play with. We all loved the pool. It is possible to book a massage and am so glad I did. Would definitely recommend (Yannis). On the downside, and beyond the control of the hotel, our airco didn't work the entire 2 weeks we were here. They did get us 2 big fans while waiting for the servicemen which helped a bit. But the heat lead to some sleepless nights for me. There are more than enough weights and machines in the gym to maintain fitness during your stay. Some are a bit dated, but still workable. It would create a bit of space if a couple machines which no longer work are removed. Be sure to ask for the remote control for the airco in the gym, it helps! Tons of books in 'the library' in a bunch of languages. We really appreciate everyone who works in the hotel. Because of them, we were able to really have an enjoyable vacation. We would definitely stay here again.
