Excellent hotel all staff are friendly and helpful, nice location well worth a visit. The rooms are very clean, very nice pool and relaxing area. You can get a nice lunch and in season they do an excellent Barbeque in the evening.

Great stay here with friends! Hotel is clean and very nice considering the price isn’t expensive at all, rooms as spacious and beds decently comfy. Hotel is a little bit of a walk from the main town but theres many ways to get around, hotel has plenty of sunbeds and seats which is great. Bar by the pool is also great and well priced with some decent food options. Although we werent able to keep our room on after checkout since our flight was a late one we were still able to use showers and changing area and room to store cases. Would definitely come again. (I also love the fact the hotel has designated areas to feed the stray cats)

Arrived at the hotel on Saturday evening. No problem at reception. Given a room on the second floor. Room was clean but dated which was not a problem for the price but omg the orange was just abit over the top. Second morning was when it all went wrong. Outside the hotel the floor had been washed down. Absolutely soaking wet and I fell down the wet marble steps and broke 2 bones in my foot. The family were nice enough although definitely not over friendly. They did move us to a ground floor self catering apartment which was really lovely. Breakfast was again basic but fine.housekeeping was excellent. Bar food again very good. Only gripe I have is I think unless you are a regular customer they are not really friendly. The mother is a lovely lady. Would I return again?. Yes I probably would as the good out weighted the bad and I made really good friends there. Just brush up on customer service skills and more people will keep returning

We got there at around 11 o'clock we checked in went to the room omg what a shock it was horrible small and the colour orange we went back to reception for a change he said come back tomorrow so that's what we did we paid a extra fee of 84 euros 💶 it was well worth we got a nice apartment facing the pool Then we settled in and had a fantastic time the staff are friendly enough they we're closing down till may so they didn't care much closed bar early cleared off sunloungers table chairs it was looking very bare they left our sunloungers till we got off them 😀. For what we paid for, it was worth it 👌 would we go back again? Yes, but it's really only 2 stars.

On arrival, the reception was modern. We checked in and had to go up to the second floor with two cases there are no lifts. The room was very basic. The bathroom was dated, no shower cubicle or curtain, so when we showered the toilet and toilet roll got soaked. When we went back to the room at night it smelt damp. I asked to move rooms the next morning, but it was not possible. We stayed in the standard rooms, but our daughter stayed in an apartment which was better. And the superior rooms on floor 1 looked lovely. It was too far out from Kos town for us. The staff were not friendly at all, we were surprised at this as we have been to many places in Greece and the people are usually very friendly and welcoming. Would not recommend this hotel at all.

I have a mixed opinion on this hotel. The location is perfect. We rented bikes and is a 10 minute ride into Kos Town. Lots surrounding the hotel as well - mini shop, restaurants etc. We upgraded our room for an extra cost, which to us was worth it. It was clean, and was tidied everyday with fresh towels if needed. We stayed B&B which i dont think this hotel should be advertised as. The breakfast was real basic continental. The pool bar food was again basic but the pool area was clean. The staff seem unbothered with you if you are not a regular, which is a shame as usually family run hotels are super friendly. However, none of this affected our holiday, this was our favourite greek island so far, but i wouldnt stay at this hotel again.

We are just back today from a lovely week in Kos at Hotel Iris. I want to say what a lovely family-run Hotel it is and think the people who write all the negative reports must have been in another Hotel. Granted our room was dated it was clean and had all you need for a good stay the Maids were lovely and worked very hard . Food was good the beef Wrap the best and a good simple breakfast again all staff were great and made you welcome. We are not pool people but it was lovely and clean and nice to sit at the bar area and enjoy a drink plenty to choose from. Met some lovely people but can't forget the cats lovely. Nothing to do with the Hotel but the bus service was not so great and didn't always stop at your stop when you wanted to. It could be a long wait for the Taxi too but think they were very busy. It was a long flat walk into Kos Town but thirty minutes only gets you to the outskirts of the Old Town may be longer but well worth it when you get there all in a lovely stay at the Iris. Love to all. Mary & Frank Scotland.x

returned to our favorite Island and Hotel, once again we were not disappointed the wonderful family make everyone feel welcome, many guests are repeat bookers and many have become our friends over the years , it consists of bed and breakfast hotel rooms which have been updaed and selfcattering appartments, which are our choice. Facilities include a large swimming pool cleaned on a regular basis and a pool bar which is a focal point for those who wish to frequent it, the bar also serves excellent food whether Greek or otherwise. BBQ nights on Mondays are brilliant copious amounts of Greek food and plenty dancing, be prepared for a late night. for self caterers there is a small electric cooker ,fridge and cupboard space in a large room , a supermarket is literally 200 metres from the hotel which will provide all your needs. the beach is 500 metres down the road, Paradiso beach being our favorite again a lovely family run it,we visited three times this year,The Iris our second home totalling 6weeks and have allready booked for June next year
