Stayed Oct 3-17, 2023. Travelled as a couple Hotel Grounds The hotel is on the south side of the island, in a secluded area with no other hotels around it. The grounds are enormous, and done in a 'village' style with restaurants, apartments, pools dotted around. It is hilly in some places, we enjoyed walking around the grounds but if you have difficulty walking you can call for a golf cart that can ferry you about. The buildings, gardens, paths etc are all well maintained and we found it to be very modern and stylish. Beach The hotel is situated on the coast, with its own beach with plenty of free sunbeds and parasols. The beach itself is sandy for the most part, with flat rock like surfaces leading into the sea. This can be a bit slippy so I would recommend sea/water shoes. There are some watersports if that's your cup of tea but we found the beach to be the most relaxing part of the hotel and spent most of our lounging time there. Room We had a very spacious room with a sea view. It was very clean and modern, plenty of storage, toiletries, a safe, a fridge, a TV, 2 singles pushed together (but felt ok as they didn't separate and very comfortable) and a sofa. The staff cleaned it every day and provided fresh towels throughout our stay. Food & Drink The quality and variety of the food is amazing. We've stayed at many 5 star all inclusive hotels throughout the greek islands and this is definitely one of the best that we've come across. There are quite a few restaurants to pick from, each of them sharing the same high quality but with some variations. There are 3 bookable restaurants that you can visit once a week as well so we went to each of these twice. 2 are table service (Italian & Chinese), and one you cook your own food (BBQ). They were all nice but we probably prefered the variety and experience of the BBQ over the others. There's definitely something there for everyone! There's plenty of bars dotted around the village, each serving the usual coffees/teas, soft drinks, cocktails, beer, wine etc. There are chargeable items but there's a lot of choice if you're all inclusive and we never felt like wanting any of the chargeable stuff. Some of their drinks did seem a little light on the alcohol but this was largely dependent on who served you and it was never really an issue as you can always just go back for more! A must try would be the waffles at the gelateria, they are made to order with a good choice of toppings. You can also get ice cream, cakes and crepes here too. Entertainment Every night there was a show at the amphitheatre. It's not really our scene so we never went but from what we could hear in the distance it was very popular, especially with families. There's a more relaxed vibe at the main hotel bar in the evening, where there's often a singer and this was much more to our liking. The animation team also did various activities throughout the day but this wasn't something we took part in. Staff Can't fault the staff one b
