What a wonderful hotel to find and stay in on our first trip to Kefalos, Kos and it won't be our last. The hotel is in a perfect beachside location. Although quiet, it is within easy walking distance to lots of wonderful bars and tavernas. The staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble for them. Our room was huge & spotlessly clean and although facing the road this didn't bother us, however, it will be a sea view room next for us as the view is perfect. Breakfast was good although a small criticism would be there was no wholemeal bread and the orange juice, more like squash, was a bit hit and miss. The pool and bar area was nice and relaxing with views over the sea. There was always plenty of sunbeds to go round. Check out was funny as the poor receptionist had to add up every bar receipt twice as she made a mistake and there were lots .... ha ha!! Not use to this as the bill is normally ready and waiting for us. We found a couple of nice beaches to walk to if you like a hike plus we had a wonder up to the village. The bus picks up outside the hotel however be mindful taxi's are few and far and expensive so don't miss the bus back if you go out for the day. Would certainly go back and highly recommend.

Lovely big spacious rooms. Sea view was just perfect and the hotel was situated literally on the beach. I didn’t like the fact the fridge went off every time you took the card out, so you can’t keep anything cool if you are not in the room and certainly can’t have anything frozen as it just melts. The bathroom was a bit of a nigh**are as the shower water spills everywhere. The water pressure was very strong. The hair dryer was in the bathroom which was crazy as the mirror is obviously steamed up from having a shower ( thank goodness I had packed my own and could use it in the bedroom). The breakfast was amazing and the choice was excellent

Absolutely beautiful place! great location very close to the sea beach (in fact, it's a private sandy beach very quiet, not crowded, it's a bay with crystal water). Lovely hotel! We stayed in a room with a view of the seaside. The staff is very nice & helpful! Breakfast is tasty. Highly Recommended!

We have recently came back from wonderful Kos where we stayed in hotel Royal Bay. The rooms are clean, tidy and large. The toilet could be bigger (It doesnt have enough space for personal stuff) but overall it's ok. The wonderful thing is the view on the sea. The only bad thing in hotel was breakfast. Only two choice of poor salami, english breakfast and few pieces of panecakes. Brad was usually few days old. If a bread had been better, everything would be better, so that' s why our note is 4*.

Just returned from Royal Bay Suites after a 2 week holiday with my husband and 2 teenagers. Hotel was wonderful. Spotlessly clean and maintained. My teenagers enjoy the pool and beach, this hotel is situated on the beach, giving them, and us the option of being close to each other, while enjoying both pool and beach. Showers both on the beach and by the pool to clear the saltwater and shingle/sand before using the pool. All the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. We went on many excursions, while on Kos, and after returning, on full days, were, at times, shattered and wanted to eat at the hotel. Unfortunately food not available after 3pm but an absolutely amazing receptionist Stamatia, called for us, a local delivery company, who delivered us gyros and pizza, it was lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. Stamatia was a wealth of knowledge from giving us information about buses to Kos town, making dinner reservations to the beautiful restaurant of Mylotopi in Kefalos (they send a car to collect you free of charge and take you back after your meal) and providing my daughter with ketchup! The breakfast was amazing. Bacon, eggs fried and scrambled, cakes, fruit, breads. We all throughly enjoyed it. And again, the lady who runs the area and her ladies were warm, friendly and replenished things as soon as they had gone. The room cleaners were so lovely and did an amazing job. WiFi connection really good and connected when on the beach! The location is chilled and quiet, views from hotel breathtaking. Seriously, cannot fault. Lots of restaurants a short walk from hotel, we really enjoyed Rainbow, family run, the people were so wonderful and food great. We have already booked for 18 nights next year. Thank you all for a fantastic holiday, see you next year.

We stayed at the Royal bay for our honeymoon from the 1st-8th August 2023. We had the most amazing time. On arrival we were welcomed by some beautiful swans made out of towels and petals on our bed. But we have to be honest, the room wasn't cleaned very well. But we rang reception and they came straight away and put right all we were unhappy with. The rooms were cleaned Daily, fresh towels, toilets rolls ect. The beds are very comfortable, air conditioning in rooms, The pool area is amazing and beautiful right next to beach. The staff are very friendly and do all they can to make everything perfect for you. Breakfast is OK, we didn't go every morning. But there's so many restaurants within walking distance. It's nice for a change. The lunchtime snack menu at the bar is great and reasonably priced, also good selection of drinks and cocktails. We can honestly say, we had the most amazing time. And the hotel is beautiful. Would definitely recommend to everyone and would return. Thank you for the amazing week.

This was a lovely new hotel . Very light and modern with lots of space to relax by the beach, pool and eating area. There were plenty of available loungers but the real joy was the fact that the beach was so quiet and the water was crystal clear. The view from the garden over to the sea was beautiful and very relaxing. All staff are friendly but the real star was Stamatia on reception. Nothing was too much trouble and proved to be an extraordinary trouble shooter. She was always smiling and positive. She sorted out lack of towels straight away. We noted that towels should be changed more often. A very strong recommendation would be to eat across the way at Allontina. It it a family run Meze house which means you select smaller plates but not as small as tapas!!!! Fresh local cuisine is the order of the day. The staff are exceptional in their service and friendliness. They take time to explain and advise on the different dishes. The food goes far beyond the usual gyros and souvlaki which is the general offering of most places in Kefalos. Be prepared to try a different style cuisine and you will not be disappointed. Our room faced the road so it was too noisy although the double glazing at night did the trick when doors were closed and air conditioning was on. The air conditioning was very efficient. I would recommend this lovely hotel and return with a sea view option.
