The Aeolos Beach Hotel

We stayed a week at Aeolos Beach Hotel and we loved it!! The hotel is beautiful reminding with the bungalows and all the flowers a typical greek village. The bungalows are spacious and very comfortable. The garden and flowers are simply beautiful and the restaurant front beach has a breathtaking seaview. Staff is super friendly, we wanna thank Maria for taking care of us so well, we felt really appreciated by her every time we had dinner at the restaurant, she was excellent!!

It was our 2nd time at Aeolos Beach Hotel, as it was as an amazing stay as in 1st time. Hotel is in really beautiful location, with amazing sunsets and located right on the beach. Its very quite and remote location so can have very relaxed holidays. Staff is very friendly and welcoming, rooms getting cleaned regularly. Restaurants have big variety of food available and will always be able to find something, even fussiest eaters. Definitely coming back for more.

Jet2 staff on the flights and at the airports really helpful. Aeolus hotel is spotlessly clean, comfortable, great variety of good food with plenty of choices, unbelievably helpful staff. The pool is fabulous with plenty of sun loungers. Our only complaint - Jet2 writes the hotel is 'Positioned on a long sandy beach' it is NOT. The adjacent beach is rocky and narrow, the nearest sandy beach is 5km away, too far to walk so took a EUR16 each way taxi ride

Had a lovely stay at Aeolos Beach Hotel in June 2024. We stayed in a premium room, meaning we had reserved sun beds and were able to eat in the beachfront restaurant with spectacular views. This was a great experience and would highly recommend upgrading to this option.

I went on holiday with 5 friends and we stayed in the bungalows,they were very clean and modern and plenty of room. The gardens all around were well kept and some lovely flowers. Lovely big pool and clean. The buffet is not very big but you can always find something to eat. The staff are so friendly especially behind the pool bar,the lifeguard always said morning and the manager always smiling and always spoke. Would return.

Travelled as a family of 4 to this hotel over the May-June half term. Firstly, ignore the really terrible reviews. It really is not that bad. The bungalows aren’t as spacious as the pictures portray but the sea view was the best we have ever had in any hotel, ever. Simply beautiful. It felt like our own private garden with a sea. The food was ok, Greek night was our favourite but only on once a week and we were there for 10 days. Not a huge variety for children but there was always plain pasta and chips if they are super fussy. The pools were lovely and the kids pool was great. My only complaint with the pools is that they should have been cleaned more regularly than I witnessed. I only saw them clean it once in 10 days. The bedroom was always cleaned and tidied to a high standard. The beach restaurant does seem to get very booked up so I would recommend booking as soon as you arrive to avoid being told there is no room. Entertainment was quiet and not anything for children but there is a play park and all children seemed to make friends which helped. Overall, for the price we paid, I am very satisfied. I think I would return but not with children. We hired a car and I can confidently say, the access to the beach at this hotel was far far superior to some I saw when we were out and about.

What a beautiful and relaxing hotel! Went from June 3rd-9th with a friend with the intention to rest and relax, and that is exactly what we done! ROOM We stayed on the 3rd floor in the main hotel with a sea view room and WOW. Super spacious, comfy beds and pillows... and the bathroom? Never had such a spacious bathroom with such a powerful shower! The rooms were cleaned immaculately on a daily basis, providing fresh towels and a new bottle of water. Whilst the fridge wasn't the coldest it still managed to cool down the water POOL/SUNBED We would wake up around 8/head down just after 8 to grab a sunbed and never had an issue with it Whilst the pool is on the colder side, it's much needed with how warm you can get! The bottom of the floor could do with a bit of a spruce up, but there was never anything floating in the pool DRINKS/FOOD Be warned... the cocktails can be STRONG (but very delicious. I would highly recommend the Strawberry Splash). In terms of the food, there isn't a great variety, but still very tasty Breakfast - typical full english options, omelette, fruit, cereal, cheeses and bread Lunch - you could either go into the main restaurant for pasta, pizza, fish etc, or go to the pool/snack bar where you could get salad, chips, and a meat Dinner - varied every night (our personal favourite was Greek Night with the spinach and cheese pastry). Only a few hot options, but plenty of salad/fresh food options There is also a shop on site with very reasonable priced food! Just under 3 euros for a large packet of crisps (I'd recommend trying the tzatziki lays if you're looking for a new and funky flavour) ENTERTAINMENT/WHAT'S AROUND TO DO The hotel is very much in the middle of nowhere. But for 1.60 you can go into old town on a 15 minute (air-conditioned) bus journey. There's a timetable in reception where you can see what time busses you can get, but it is super easy to navigate your way on them! The bus driver calls out the names of hotels on your way back too meaning you don't need to worry about missing your stop There isn't particularly any entertainment during the day except Bingo on a Tuesday. In the evenings there would sometimes be live music, dancing, and our personal favourite, karaoke on a Saturday night If you're looking for a break away to rest and relax, this is your hotel!

It makes me really sad seeing all these bad reviews for this hotel because it is not true at all! The only problem we had was a leak in our room during the first couple of days but they fixed it right away and it was all fine!! The Room: Went with my parents and my boyfriend and we both had all inclusive and superior bungalows with a sea view. The rooms were spotless and were made up every day with new towels and a huge bottle of water. The view was amazing to wake up to everyday as well and the bungalows are totally soundproof. The food/staff: Was very nervous about the food after seeing reviews but there is so much choice and it really is delicious. They change the spread every day and just keep salads and cheeses the same but it is all really nice. We mostly ate in the main restaurant but had dinner once in the tranquillo restaurant after making a reservation and it was beautiful. All the staff are really friendly, especially the lovely lady on reception who speaks multiple languages. The pool/bar: Honestly don’t bother paying for premium because the main pool is much more lively and has a much better atmosphere. Yes you have to get sunbeds quick but we found that if we just got up at 7 and reserved them then, there’s loads of free ones. The pool is clean and all these reviews about it being dirty and having stuff floating on it is rubbish! There may be an odd leaf but you just take it out! Also I noticed a lot of reviews complaining about how cold the pool is. Maybe in the colder seasons it may seem cold but when you go in the summer it is the perfect temperature and you honestly don’t want it any warmer when the weather is 35 degrees! The all inclusive drinks are honestly fine and couldn’t taste the difference between them and branded spirits. The cocktails are decent even if they are a bit strong sometimes, but it’s all inclusive so you can’t go wrong! Ladies and gents on the bar always really friendly. The beach: The beach can be quite rocky but there are sandy bits and the water is nice and warm. There are loads of sunbeds on the garden bit that you can move to be on the beach. If you want to go to a nicer beach then tigkaki is not far away and that was beautiful. The shop: The shop has all the essentials plus fun things like pool floats and games and the prices aren’t too bad- unless you want to buy suncream which is 22 euros. Overall this hotel was lovely and would defo come again!

Just got back from a week at the Aeolos Beach Hotel . The room was lovely , overlooking the sea and pool and cleaned every day . All staff polite and very helpful . We walked into Kos Town firstly along the beach then joined up with the pavement , a gentle walk of about an hour . Also used a couple of buses €2.10 into town. Used a taxi a couple of days €12. Also hired a car from reception for a day to drive around the island , a reasonable €50 which included insurance. All in all I would recommend this hotel for beach location and views alone
