Lovely hotel, staff were great, food was very good. Enjoyed my short break and would come back again

We have just spent a wonderful six nights at the DBH. As soon as we arrived we knew we’d made the right choice of where to stay in Kos. Check in was quick and friendly and we were given a refreshing welcome drink (we arrived by ferry from Bodrum and walked to the hotel which took no more than 15 minutes). The rooms are spread across a few two storey blocks - we had a first floor room with a balcony. The hotel grounds are well maintained and whilst the adjoining land is less so (like a wild meadow) we had views to the nearby hills. Our room was big, with a good shower room. There was a bottle of wine and some water to help us settle in (one lasted longer than the other 😁). Housekeeping did a great job, indeed the whole of the hotel looked very clean and new. There is a large pool with lots of good quality beds. The pool is open from 9am but guests are advised not to reserve beds before 10- we didn’t see anyone reserving beds with their towels during our stay. Breakfast was expansive, lots of fresh fruit and the fruit yoghurts were delicious. I didn’t try any of the hot food other than pancakes, but there was an egg station where a member of staff would prepare omelet, scrambled or poached eggs to order and my wife said the omelets were great. On the final morning staff opened the glass doors around the breakfast room to give it an ‘al fresco’ feel. There was parking available and it was only about a 5 minute walk to the nearest restaurant. There was a small supermarket about 2 minutes walk away. We would recommend the DBH to anyone visiting Kos.

We stayed at Diamond Boutique Hotel from 6th May to 20th May. Upon arrival we were greeted by Anna who was very welcoming, she took our passports and suggested we take a seat on the terrace and have a glass of complimentary non alcoholic cocktail, once we had sat down a relaxed a little she then handed us a warm flannel to freshen up our hands - we thought this was a lovely touch. We were then taken to our room, which was lovely and spacious, fantastic shower room and bed was extremely comfortable, we had a ground floor apartment and had an outside terrace which was also very lovely. The pool area is fantastic with sumptuous sun beds, we never ventured into the pool however plenty of other guests did. The staff are the best, very friendly, always so happy to serve and very polite. On the 4th day, whilst arriving for breakfast my husband was greeted by Anna who wished him a happy birthday, we were surprised she knew but remembered she took our passports for information, how sweet of her to wish him happy birthday and I’d say that is great customer service, well done Anna. We then went out for the day and when we returned our bed had been decorated in beautiful petals by the cleaner, what a lovely thing to do and also, the cleaners are fabulous and really are so thorough. All in all, we had a brilliant time, it was so great we have already booked again for next year (if God spares us of course). We had a fantastic week , beautiful hotel , amazing staff. Everything was excellent. We were looked after so well. The hotel is spotlessly clean . Food was really lovely and there was lots of choice . Lovely location and a couple of minutes walk to town . Best holiday I’ve had in years . Thank you .

I don’t usually write a review of a hotel whilst I am still there but I am going to break that rule. We have been here for 4 days now and I cannot find fault. From the moment we arrived to right now I can’t speak highly enough of the hotel, staff and rooms. I am not even going to name individual members of staff because I would likely miss someone out. Every member of the team here, reception, dining room, bar, housekeepers etc have been more than friendly and are quite happy to chat without impeaching on their work. The restaurant recommendations they have given have been excellent. The rooms are more than adequate, the hotel having 4 blocks each with a number of rooms. Ours has a large bedroom with big double, lovely bathroom and a further room that can be made into a twin bedroom if required. The bathroom cosmetics are excellent, I’d buy them at home if I could. Breakfast choice is huge, everything you could wish for all buffet style but there is also a cooking station for fresh egg choices however you like your eggs. Evening meals are varied with a good choice with main dishes running at €19 and starters from €7 upwards. Wine is a bit expensive as far as I am concerned from €32 a bottle but I am sure it will be of good quality. The big plus for this hotel is the staff. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

This hotel was amazing, the staff could not be faulted from the welcome greeting to the departure👌 The Manager Anna at the front desk was so welcoming, nothing was too difficult. Konstantine at the front desk was exceptional, Ilir Captain in the Restaurant went over and above to meet our needs. Peter, Maitre d for the Restaurant, the bar, Alexandros in the bar all of these staff were one in a million without exaggeration. The rooms were out of this world, the housekeepers 👌 the service was outstanding and we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Friendly ambience, delicious food, and welcoming staff💯💫💫💫💫💫. We will be back.

The family room is huge and is great value for the bed and breakfast. The kids beds were so comfy and met all our requirements and you could easily get sun beds. My only more negative comment is that the adult bed was quite low but was still huge. I would totally recommend to families and couples.
