Visited in May staying in 2nd floor room with balcony. The room was very clean, beds comfortable, excellent shower. Air conditioning was good. Cleaned every day. The only criticism was the wardrobe. It had plenty of shelf space but the half for hanging clothes was tiny. We did get chance to look into 2 bedroom apar**ent which had more space and bigger wardrobe. We stayed all inclusive as we got a great priced deal. The food was generally good with plenty of choice. We did eat out twice for a bit of variety. The staff were friendly and helpful and couldn't criticise in any way. The hotel is in easy walk of the beach but we stayed at the pool which had loads of sunbeds. Usual all inclusive where local based drinks are free but there was the option to pay for some well known brands. Local bars within 10 minutes and Flintstones Bar good value and friendly. You can bus into Kos Town just outside the hotel but we walked in a few times which took circa 20 mins with lots of options for coffee stop on the way. For history lovers a visit to the Roman Odeon is recommended. Across the road from that is the Hellenistic Gymnasium and a good hour can be spent exploring that. Both free. We did bus/boat trip to Nisyros and that was well worthwhile.

On arrival we received a free upgrade to a bigger room with a pool view, after such a long day travelling and arriving early hours of the morning. We really appreciated the lovely gesture, so thank you. Just be weary there are no lifts at this hotel and you were left to your own devices to find your room in one of the hotel buildings if you're not in the main reception building. Which did often involve steps to climb with your suitcase, so if you have any health concerns it would be best to request a ground floor room prior to arrival. You also have to pay for the room safe which was 3 euros per day. There is also often cats in the restaurant which people tend to feed so it proves hard to get rid of them, just to note if you have any allergy's. This did hinder me enjoying going down for food because I often could not eat it in peace. The food was not always hot however this is often the case with All Inclusive, it just depends if you can catch them when they put fresh food out. Our room was cleaned really well daily and Lambi beach is just across the road. The hotel is located close to Kos town we often walked which took about 30 minutes. If you wish to get the bus it's 1.10 euros if you pay at the kiosk in Dolphin Square (bus number 2) and you cannot miss the Dolphin fountain in the middle so its easy to spot. There is no iron available, so we traveled with a small travel iron. Poppy who works at reception was helpful. Overall a very nice hotel in a great location which made it easy to see the sights of Kos.

Stayed in the hotel for the 4th time and again enjoyed a great week, nice weather, good food, friendly staff, nothing really to dislike. So we will more than likely return there next year and we are already looking forward to seeing well-known staff members again.

Stayed with friends in April 23. Hotel spotlessly clean. Well laid out. Not much to do evenins but happy to sit in the bar playung cards or reading. Drinks a bit limited and had to pay for branded alcohol. Couldnt use wifi in our room and only around the pool. Weather was a little windy, so didnt use the pool. The food was excellent, large choice and variety. All the food was well cooked, and was re-filled all the time, couldnt fault anything very happy with inclusive deal.

Stayed here for a week at the beginning of October, not sure what to make if it. Good and bad points! The hotel was immaculate and clean and the rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Location is great with plenty of bars , shops within walking distance.the pool was lovely and clean, tho I don’t think there’s enough sun beds for the size of the hotel! What let the hotel down. The food was never hot, and I mean never. Most days it wasn’t even warm. Compared to many hotels the choice of food was limited. Every day there was pork chops either at lunch time or dinner! They need to give the pork chops a rest! The pool bar “snacks” were horrendous. A few sandwiches and that was it. I only had 1 sandwich all week, that was enough to totally put me off. The bread tasted like it was severely past its use by date. The pool bar needs more than 1 member of staff especially on an evening, talking of the staff, 1 member needed hygiene lessons. Washing their hands and then rubbing them dry under their armpits. Grosse ! Also I don’t know what they’ve done to the cola. Many people I spoke to thought it was watered down! The staff, come on smile! So grumpy, the odd one was friendly! Oh and if your room is at the back end of the complex some staff smoke **** there!

Spent 1 week in this beautiful Hotel. I Booked 1 week for my wife's 48th birthday for October 14th 2023 and upon arrival it had the WOW factor. The grounds & Hotel looked & was a 5*. We was given room 171 wich again was out this world, The pool/bar area again out of this world. One week on the beautiful island of kos in this stunning Hotel was well needed. Especially after looking foward to it for a many weeks (let's face it, this is what we all work for). Now Let me start by saying I'm not complaining (as i'm not a traveler that is ever to complain). I'm just giving the Apollon some tips for the next season. First apart from the majority of you're staff some was very rude. You're canteen manager who I state was rude & pointless, bar man was so rude (miserable) & one receptionist very abrupt. 1.) Barman: I've never stayed in a fully inclusive where I felt it wrong asking for a beverage. 2.) Canteen manager: never spoke until the final day and then that was a mumble "morning". A Manager should see all there staff are happy, the chip plates are binned (100's I state) and the food is at a high quality. Making sure the layout is perfect. Where I state the toaster and bread was put in the corner making it a very congested area. 3.) Receptionist: with us asking if we could keep the room on for 4 hours, we was told it would be told €60 (quite ****y). Our reply is "will you provide a courtesy room?" Her reply "no due to covid you have to shower outside in the pool area & change in the room over there" (if covid is a problem then move the toaster to stop the spread), then my wife's reply "you mean the toilets". Now then Apollon Crew please sort this out for 2024 visitors, I know its a long season for you all, but holiday makers are You're paying guest. You're Hotel & island is so beautiful so please build on this. Yes I would return but unfortunately if you only offered B&B. If you're reading this as a traveller, then I will some it up for you. You're not going to be disappointed, but just a few tweaks are needed. Thanks Jase (Staffordshire).

We stayed at Apollon between 14th to 21st October and had a wonderful time. We were worried that things would be closed in the area, however we didn’t actually have any issues as things were only starting to wind down towards the end of our stay. Mylos beach bar closed on the 16th but that meant the beach was more spacious. Below are the many pros and small amount of cons we found during our stay at Apollon. Pros: - Location The hotel is located right by the beach and a short walk to Kos Town. The area felt safe and friendly. You can catch a beautiful sunset from the beach just 5/10 mins away. - Nearby facilities/entertainment The hotel itself has a relaxed feel, but right outside there is a sports bar Smugglers, bike and car hire, trip booking shops and a bus stop. There are many lovely bars and restaurants (we really recommend Alibaba beach bar and Istros) as well as supermarkets (Konstantinos was the best close by). Kos Town has plenty of things to look and do too, just a short walk from Lambi. - Food and Drink The restaurant as a whole was fantastic and as a veggie I only struggled to find something to eat on one night. The pizza was delicious! Breakfast was okay and did the job nicely. The drinks at the bar were strong depending on who served us and the choice is good. Examples of drinks: love on the beach, beer, amaretto, schnapps, vodka, juices, wine, ouzo etc). The dress code was really relaxed which for us is a bonus (shorts and t shirts for dinner was fine). In the evening the bar area was nice and peaceful and queues weren’t long. - Cats! As a cat lover it was like heaven. There are lots of cats in the area. All the cats we came into contact with were super friendly and well looked after which was lovely to see. If you don’t like cats, Kos in general probably isn’t for you as they are literally everywhere on the island. Cons: - Snack bar The snack bar isn’t really a snack bar and is more a tray of small sandwiches and slices of cake. It would be amazing if the pizza or other options could be on offer as a poolside snack in the future. - Lunch basket We requested a lunch basket to take out. Sadly it was just a small roll with half a slice of cheese and 1 lettuce leaf, 2 plums and a bottle of water. If you are going out for the day on a trip, it may be better walking to Konstantinos shop to buy some snacks. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and we would love to come again! Thank you to all the amazing staff during our stay.

Okay, so I’ve never stayed in a 4* hotel so have nothing to compare it to other than 3*s but it was lacking what these hotels had. The hotel looks appealing from the street view, nice modern decor. Immaculate reception, friendly approachable staff. On arrival check in was okay, we were given a voucher to hire a bike free of charge and a packed lunch as we’d missed dinner. The packed lunch was a bottle of water an apple and a cheese and mayo hard sandwich. The room was located near the pool bar stated to be a “triple deluxe with pool view” the room was nice in size and modern and clean. Balcony rather than terrace and pool view if you leaned. 2 single beds pushed together for a double but not fixed together so they moved. The spare pillows were dirty so we took the pillow cases off and put the pillows on the spare bed… these were never replaced. The breakfast was okay for me as I’m not fussy but my wife struggled. Orange juice was tangy but I prefer apple juice anyway. There was a good selection of food but only if you’re not fussy… some nights food options was fish fish and more fish. The restaurant staff were really friendly. The pool area filled up quick - we reserved sun beds early. There were no glasses to be by the pool which I understand but there was no other bar open so for instance - tea, on the evening was served in a cardboard cup and you helped yourself to it. We lost hours of sleep because of the roosters and crickets and most mornings woke up and walked outside to the mop and bucket or bag of rubbish left by cleaners directly outside our room, we opted for do not disturb but cleaners came in anyway. The room wasn’t cleaned properly on some days with bugs still left under the sink, hairs on the floor. Towels were replaced but then towards the end fresh towels were left but dirty ones not taken. There was no entertainment at all. Nothing to create an a**osphere. The songs played at the bar were popular songs but covers so it threw me off. Only bar open was the pool bar rather than the bar inside to help with queues . No private facilities on the last day just an open cold shower by the pool because of “covid” or a £60 room charge. The location isn’t great either bikes or cars are needed. All of the issues I faced I never moaned about when i was there so it’s my own fault. The staff I want to repeat were lovely, so pleasant and smiling - greeted every guest every day. It lacks a lot of final touches that a 3 star had. I was disappointed to have paid more but got less. Personally I won’t return, it wasn’t awful but it also wasn’t great. The photos I took of the food was “Chinese night” it shows the potential the hotel has.
