Here’s a polished review:
Everything was excellent. The room was new and well-maintained, with a beautiful sea view. The club lounge access was great, with good food and beverage offerings. Overall, it was a worthwhile stay, and I would definitely return again.” ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The deluxe king room is spacious with a great view facing the sea. Service is great too and we enjoyed a comfortable massage at the hotel.

The hotel's location is fantastic, very close to the beach and also conveniently near the city's main attractions. Taxis are easily accessible. The staff were all very welcoming. The only minor thing was a slight salty sea smell in the hallway, but it wasn't present in the room. Overall, I'm very satisfied and would recommend it!

The shower door in the room was broken, but everything else was good. The city view room even had a sea view, which was a pleasant surprise. I expected the hotel to be old, but it was actually very well-maintained.

The room was quite spacious and the location was great, right in the city by the sea. There's a seafood market directly opposite. It's about a fifteen-minute walk to Gaya Street and very convenient to get to the pier. A taxi ride takes around ten minutes, and the airport is also quite close. The front desk was very responsive, and the breakfast was decent. I even caught a stunning sunset from the hotel rooftop!

Stayed at Le Méridien Kota Kinabalu recently and had a really enjoyable experience. The location is excellent — right opposite the waterfront and within walking distance to the seafood market, malls, and many food spots. The sea view from the room was amazing, especially during sunset.
The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast spread was good with plenty of choices, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. The pool and rooftop area were also very relaxing after a long day out.
Overall, a great hotel for both leisure and short getaway trips in Kota Kinabalu. Would definitely stay here again!

AMAZING!!!! The staff here! They are so unbelievably friendly and helpful. They truly made me feel so special and welcomed throughout my stay. Especially the ladies at breakfast and the guys at the door. I got the seaview room and that view was breathtaking! Front row seats to that sunset every day! The rooms are very clean and the beds and pillows are extremely comfortable, would 100% recommend if you’re looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The rooftop bar also has the best view of the sunset in my opinion. Breakfast was great, too- so much choice!

Location is good, just across the street from the Filipino Market (Anjung Kinabalu) and access to waterfront restaurants. Nice view of the waterfront from the 14th floor breakfast room. Breakfast was very nice. They also book last minute tours to the Mount Kinabalu National Park and Klias River proboscis monkey area.

The room was spacious clean and the hotel is conveniently located right in front of KK waterfront and the handicraft marketplace. The breakfast was, though not the fanciest, large and elaborate with a mix of local and international dishes. Other dining options were reasonably priced, and the staff very courteous. The entrance of the hotel looked very aged and needs a renovation.

The room was spacious and centrally located, making it super convenient to get to downtown restaurants and malls. The service was excellent; they really cared about our stay, even asking about our experience while we waited for a taxi. The breakfast was also very diverse and featured many local specialties. The only downside was its proximity to the seafood market, which meant there were many stalls drying seafood along the street, and a strong fishy smell right outside the entrance.
