The staff is very nice & efficient. We noted it’s a smoking room after check-in, and the staff arranged another non-smoking room for us as requested upon booking. The swimming pool locates on the rooftop, with a rooftop bar & restaurant. Located near the city center, close to lots of local food & restaurants.

The location is convenient, it has plenty of good spa and restaurants nearby, however, it was too close to the fish market, you can smell the fish once you left the lobby. The overall hygiene is fine, bedsheet and towel are in very good condition, however, there are quite a lot of strains in the surfaces of toilet, also the shower room. And I found some ants at a corner of the room. The facilities are good, swimming pool and the rooftop bar are decent. All staff I have met are nice and friendly.

Overall nice hotel with very good facilities. I liked the edgeless swimming pool where you can have broader view of coastal area of KK including the ***a Island. The gym is also modern and a pleasant place to go. The restaurants are also attractive and i liked the breakfast the most as there are a lot of food options. 15/F roooftop is a good place for appreciation of sunset. The only problem is their room service efficiency: when you try to order something you might have to wait for a long time. Hope there’s improvement when I come back again in future.

Hotel is nice, clean and have good amenities. The room is clean, though not new, but all amenities are working fine. The bed is comfortable and comes with 2 pillows each. The room even has a study table. We use it as a dining table instead. The room has a unique toilet. The shower and toilet bowl is separated having a door each and next to each other. Also, the wall and door of the toilet can slide fully open exposing the sink and the doors of shower and toilet bowl. You can just slide to close everything if you want privacy. The hotel staffs are nice too and attend to your request promptly. I requested for extra pillow and they sent it within a few minutes. The breakfast was also good and delicious. They have a wide variety of dishes from local, western, Indian, Chinese. Though everyday is similar but they change certain dishes such as from fried noodle to fried kuey tiow, fried rice to nasi lemak, etc. The hotel is also close to the waterfront, eating places and walking distance to Suria Sabah shopping centre. Overall, a good hotel to stay in.

Overall our 2-night stay at Hyatt Centric KK was comfy n relaxing. The lobby n top floor lounge ambience is excellent~feeling of calmness. Rooms are spacious n clean with beautiful sunset seaview. Friendly staffs. Room was sparkling clean. It has been fully renovated. Furnitures seems new & comfortable. Iron & iron board inside the wardrobe. Hairdryer in the toilet. Complete amenities except no body lotion. Marked in the booking as staying for Anniversary and the hotel surprised us with simple anniversary deco with fresh roses in our room with no charge. Thank you so much, we love it!♥️. Breakfast was okay with fried kuew teow, fried rice & plain porridge with condiments. Also chicken curry, beef rendang, potato wedges, egg station & some desserts & fruit. Pool also okay. Definitely will come back!

I was surprised when I saw this hotel is rated as 2 stars in google. Like whatt? This hotel should be rated as 3 to 4 stars bcs the hotel services are the best. The hotel building is also huge. Perfect for staycation! Highlights: Friendly staff and efficient check in process. The front office staff explained very clearly about the hotel facilities. Good job! Spacious and clean room, modern room design, Smart Tv included, great ambience, free & fast wifi connection. I loveee the free breakfast and I’m a huge coffee lover, I like that there is a coffee maker, very convenient. The croissant is also amazing! The breakfast is quite good, you can scramble your own eggs, and the interior of the Youth Hostel will also prepare hungry noodles, coffee, fried rice and bread. The privacy is very good, that is, there are fewer bathrooms, only two, and it takes a while to queue in the morning. The overall feeling is great! This is our second stay at king park, last trip was about 7 years ago. We feel very welcomed by the friendly staffs, the hotel is quiet, clean and cosy, the overall service and stay quality is maintained well as per our last stay, we are happy with it. We also love the breakfast buffet, it has improved from the last trip, simple yet very delicious. The only part we would like to bring out is the shower water will spill over to the toilet bowl area, hope this can be improved. The hotel is within 5-10min walking distance to ***a street with lots of nice eateries, or you may take grab which cost only RM5.

Tang Dynasty Park used to be one of my family favourite hotels in Kota Kinabalu (since I was little). As time goes by, we realized this buliding is getting older yet I don't see any obvious improvement although we came quite often here and lots of construction happening nearby the hotel so let's not include the noise pollution as my reason to give this poor evaluation. Days ago, I booked one night stay at TDP thru bookingbasic.com. Before I reach KK, I call them for confirmation. Everything seems off since then... 1) The receptionist doesn't sounds happy with my call. Oh don't get me wrong, I myself served in hospitality field so I do know what I'm talking about. 2) The room : IS A MESS. I paid RM91 for the room so I won't have any high expectations but as I said earlier, I'm not a first-timer here but this time I feel so sad. The wallpaper......hm. I still can bear that so that's fine. The soap handler is rusty and crooked. The hairdryer hose is not attached to the hairdyer (I don't even have the mood to fix it by myself after seeing that and went straight to the bed lol). The loose sink tap makes me sighed everytime I want to use it. I can see dust on the table clearly. I understand I paid the lowest room rate but how could you let your guest sleep in that kind of unprepared room? At least I would appreciate a kind reminder about the room condition before I went in. Infact, I can get a better room at other place with the same price but I still choose TDP because of the familiarity. My only fault in this case is not directly made a complaint and ask for help that day. My family really loves this place, long time ago. I guess it won't be in the list anymore. (Anyway thank you for the newspaper. I like that part)

Very highly recommended because everything just fine and perfect . This homestay got a very chilly place, which is in the second floor, the place was very nice and clean.
