Hotel Dwór Kościuszko

I am very disappointed to leave this review. This hotel should never be allowed to claim 5 stars. The whole experience was a let down. I understand that stars may differ in different countries but even still, this I'd a 3 star hotel at best. The staff were friendly, apart from one who had an attitude problem for some reason every time we spoke to her. They didn't ask if everything was OK and didn't check that we needed anything at all throughout our stay. The room only has one extremely soft weird shaped pillow per person, which might aswell not be there. The beds are comfortable, but all they are is two big singles pushed together. The carpets in the rooms are stained and wallpaper is starting to come off and worst of all for us, the overwhelming smell of cigarettes coming from the downstairs ****** is disgusting. Our room stank of cigarettes, so much so my clothes now smell of them. We are both none smokers. The bathroom had a sign on the toilet to say it had been disinfected. Yeah right. There was a hair on the toilet seat?. There was an empty bottle of vodka found behind the chair in the room which I stood on when drawing the curtains and there's a lot of noise from the road. Also, on a night there is a horrible humming noise which kept me awake. I do not expect any of this from a ”5 star” hotel. The tea and coffee in the room doesn't have milk? There is no bar apart from in the smokey ****** and the breakfast..... you get two eggs, then you can select from the table of warm yoghurts and warm meat, as it has literally been left under the heater. None of it tasted fresh and everything is at room temperature. The staff in the restaurant were friendly and nice people, it isn't their fault as there just following instructions from their managers. I get that it is meant to have a old house theme, but this doesn't excuse horribly stained carpets in the rooms and the constant smell of cigarettes. We didn't see any other guests apart from locals and I find it strange why there are so little reviews on TripAdvisor as of recent. It is 20 minutes from the city centre, however a bolt taxi only costs around £5. My overall opinion is if you want a 5 star hotel. Pay a little extra and get a 5 star. This is NOT what you want when booking 5 star.

Great hotel! Rooms and common areas super clean. Breakfast - just delicious! But the best part was the service, especially Alex at the reception - super friendly and helpful. The whole team made the stay really enjoyable. Highly recommend! Also, it's a great choice for a trip to Krakow with convenient access to different parts of the city. I even booked a room massage through the reception, as recommended by Alex, and it was a fantastic option for a relaxing afternoon without leaving the hotel room.

A wonderful cozy place. On a quiet street, but with buses to the station (including night). Nearby - Bedrenka, a few Frogs and a mini bakery. The villa itself has a good yard. The house is old, early in the 20th century, so there is much to touch, but it is nice to enter the door under Madonna's statue, and in its room to open the door with an old latinum pen. The hosts create an incredible, home comfort. All staff speak Russian. And by the New Year the owners dressed the kiparis :)
Premier Kraków Hotel

After changing accommodations to this BW premier hotel from the BW Hotel Galacya we were assigned a decent room staying for 3 nights but sadly things went afoul with numerous issues. Unfortunately an upgrade was not possible and we understood the reason why as it was quite heavily booked. AC was not functioning, no fans available, no luggage rack for our suitcases, tap leaking along with a few other minor things. No other rooms were available we were told. Breakfast was good but we were rudely warned on day one by one of the hostesses that food was not to leave the restaurant given the fact that we grabbed one bun too many and did not want to throw it out or put it back into the basket for hygienic reasons. You should have seen the fruit and sandwiches taken by a few large groups....we seemed to have been singled out as we were not part of any group. On our third night, just our luck there was a wedding at the hotel and our room was directly above the outside smoking patio which was the gathering point for very happy but loud wedding patrons. Requested room change knowing that the party would go on into the morning hours and were bumped around to 2 other rooms before one was finally acceptable. By 10:30pm we finally settled into our changed room after unpacking and repacking numerous times. ( the party went until 5:00 am so e were told). Evening staff were understanding but it did affect our rating. Discussed issues with Management via email The next day and they gave us a bit of a discount with 15% off one night and free parking. Certainly a Premier hotel but as Diamond Select members we did not feel as if it was one, even though we use BW globally. Signed...a seasoned traveller.

Hotel lovely and clean, the rooms are basic but cleaned well every day, coffee and tea and bottled water in your room every day, our children stay in the room next door, i paid for a 3 bedroom but it only had a sofa bed in that was a bit small. Breakfast was lovely, lots to choose from. bar staff friendly and help full reception very helpful the hotel is about 3 miles from the main town and we got a taxi that was about £4.00 each way but more in busier times!
