This is a 'grand hotel' set right in the heat of the Old Town, just off the corner of the main square, so perfectly located!
The rooms are extremely comfortable and very clean.
Breakfast is plentiful, although the coffee machine didn't produce the best drinks.
We were slightly disappointed that it didn't have an open bar, although on our last night the staff were very accommodating and allowed us to sit there, and served us drinks. We were told that it would be open regularly when the season picked up in a couple of weeks time. It really didn't put us off. Staff were really friendly.
There's a mini-bar in the rooms - which is seldom seen these days, and there were a couple of bottles of free water provided each day.
Overall we were very pleased with our stay, and would consider the hotel again.

Disappointed to find bar not open this time of year. Unexpected in a 5 star hotel and not informed at time of booking. Also booked double/queen bed but twin singles in the room and I was told they could only suggest we push them together!! Not very 5 star.
