The hotel is in a great location, in the center of the old city, and the service is very good. The room is very unique. You can find restaurants and bars when you go out. From here you can walk all the way to the palace. The Chris**as market in the square is very lively.

My husband and I have just returned from a fantastic 3 night trip to Krakow where we stayed at the Bonerowski Palace Hotel. Leading up to our stay, I had emailed the hotel on a number of occasions asking different information both about the hotel and the local area. I always received a speedy and informative response which made me expect great customer service when I arrived. I was not disappointed - the staff in all parts of the hotel - from Reception on arrival, waiting staff in the restaurants and bar and housekeeping - I cannot find fault anywhere. Everyone was so helpful and friendly and nothing we asked was too much trouble. The hotel itself is a fabulous building with so much character and history. The rooms are lovely and very clean and spacious. We ate in the restaurant on the evening we arrived and the food and the wine was lovely and very reasonable for a 5 star hotel. We were booked in for breakfast and there was a good choice of hot and cold food with eggs cooked as you liked them and pancakes on request. The hotel is ideally situated in the main Market Square and there are numerous bars, restaurants and shops in the surrounding area - in fact we were spoiled for choice! I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are planning a trip to Krakow. The only very minor feedback i would give is that it would have been good to have a sheer curtain on the window so that the heavy main curtains could be opened to let light in - our room faced onto a building that was both domestic and office space and to ensure privacy the curtains had to remain closed - but that is genuinely the only criticism I have about this hotel. A truly enjoyable stay.

We felt the hotel was definitely not 5* - we were checked in by a receptionist who wasn’t exactly rude but wasn’t welcoming either. We had a big bed but the duvet wasn’t large enough and the pillows were not comfortable. Our bathroom had a bath with a handheld shower which is not what you expect of a 5*. We found breakfast to be a big disappointment - the continental options were limited and they only had the kind of cereals that kids like as all very sweet. Twice we ordered the hot option and both times the food was lukewarm. Due to this we did not eat in the hotel in the evening. For us the only positives were the hotel’s position being right on the square and the size of the bedroom.

This is a wonderful hotel in the old market square. Fabulous rooms. The breakfast was amazing and the location perfect. Staff friendly and efficient. Would stay here again anytime. You could walk to all the main attractions from the hotel and we only used transport to visit Auschwitz. We did a good tour which was fun and educational though way too much food. Only disappointment was the Schindler Museum which was poorly managed and claustrophobic.

Needs more to be 5 star. Very nice room, clean, tidy. Bathroom excellent. No evening turn down, which at the price point should be there. No coffee in the room . Asked for some fresh towels, never appeared. Staff very friendly and polite. Food in the restaurant was good.

This is a beautifully decorated classic hotel. The rooms are spacious and very quiet. Comfortable bed but the duvet wasn’t quite big enough. The room was a bit dark in the entrance, especially as one of the down lighters was out, I couldn’t see well into the safe or the wardrobe. I reported it but it wasn’t changed, I’m not sure if the air con was working as it should be. That said it was still a great room. It was serviced daily and was spotless. Continental breakfast didn’t have a lot of choice but the hot menu choices were great. The staff throughout were helpful and attentive. The location was fantastic on the main square.

We have just returned home after a five night stay at the Bonerowski. Situated on the main square, it couldn't be better placed for exploring Krakow and people watching over breakfast or a drink. Yet, our room was wonderfully quiet. The hotel is very comfortable, there's a good selection of dishes at breakfast and staff are very welcoming and attentive.

Not convinced about the 5 stars. On the positive side, the rooms are lovely and the location is perfect. Unfortunately, the staff are generally ambivalent and lacking in warmth. Exemplified by the need to ask for a table to be cleared for breakfast. Breakfast is average and there is no lounge area for guests to relax in. In summary the hotel is worth considering if you get a decent rate but don’t expect 5 star service.

Lovely stay in this hotel, centrally located on the square which was ideal and near to train station with links to airport. Room was comfortable and clean with service each day; atmosphere lacking and bar closed early but possibly because not in season, however, we only had to step outside and atmosphere was fantastic. The main positive for this hotel (apart from location) is their staff, each and everyone was so helpful and friendly a credit to the hotel.
