Very helpfull and kind staff. Clean and spacious room. Convenient location for my tourisitic approach in the Old Town center Next time I would opt for a rear facing and maybe higher floor room to avoid the rumble of the the tram right outside the hotel

The room wasn't a room it was a suite, service was second to none, room (suite) was spotlessly clean. in the middle of everything - can't fault it. Only downside would be that it is next to the tram tracks - however, when you've walked 7 + miles each day you don't stay awake for long, they do provide ear plugs and if you are heavy sleepers who both snore, you really don't notice it in fact it is almost quite comforting and the beds are so comfortable you'll be asleep in no time.

We had a four night stay in this lovely hotel. The rooms were large and the beds were very comfortable. The location was perfect and very close to the main square. The only issue, although not for me, was the tram noise. The hotel provide ear plugs and there worked perfectly for me and I had four very good nights sleep!! Would definitely stay here again!

Firstly the hotel is perfectly situated in the old town a few minutes walk from the main square. The actual hotel is situated in a traditional old building but inside it is beautifully decorated and comes with a bar and area for breakfast. The breakfast available was both buffet or cooked if required. The rooms are well equipped with TV, coffee making facilities, safe, hairdryer etc.
One word of warning: If you like a quiet room avoid those at the front of the hotel as there’s a tram line 1m from the hotel front door. These trams are quite noisy and they run until almost midnight and restart early - 5am-ish. We actually requested a move to the rear of the hotel and the hotel staff couldn’t be more understanding and relocated us immediately with no issue. 4/5 from me.

Superb position. Authentic hotel. All the staff were fantastic. Breakfast was great. Ideal position for all the sites. Would certainly stay here again. Lovely cafe just across the road. Remember to book restaurants in advance Astley do get booked up quickly.

The hotel was fabulous. Staff very friendly, our room was number 301- top floor at the back. It was huge and very quiet. Very clean and fresh water provided. Little extras like slippers, sewing kit etc made a difference. Would definitely stay again

The hotel was in such a great location. We were on the top floor, so in the eaves. Room was incredibly spacious, and had a lovely lounging area.
Trams are a bit loud but you get used to it and the hotel did provide ear plugs but I didn't need them.
Breakfast was lovely too

Decent town centre hotel. Room fine. Facilities as expected. Staff good. No TV in the room for our entire stay (4 days). Didn't try the restaurant as breakfast was approx double the cost of restaurant next door.
