It was very good for sightseeing near the old town. The room was also very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was also delicious.

The location of the hotel is excellent, just between the train station and the old city, near the Barbican walls. The room was clean with comfortable bed. The staff was helpful. The breakfast is various. Great value for money.

Clean comfortable hotel centrally located within east walking distance of Krakow old town and a nice bar right next door. Only downside for a Brit no tea or coffee making facilities in the room or a fridge.

It is very convenient, about a 3-minute walk from the station building. It is also very convenient, about a 3-minute walk from the old town. I stayed for 3 nights and went to see the old town and the Auschwitz Museum. While sightseeing in the old town, the rain got stronger, and the hotel was nearby so I was able to take a break. There are cafes lined up on the way to the old town. The hotel blends in with the line of cafes, and has a nice classic feel. On the other hand, the room is undeniably old. It wasn't small, but the layout was not convenient. There are no particular issues with the facilities, such as an elevator.

the hotel is in a beautiful typical building, and in an exceptional position, 2 steps from the Barbican, access to the old city, 5 minutes. a few steps from the various excursion point. my room was nice, large and clean and well heated and a nice view of the square. I tried the breakfast and it has everything... if I were to return I would still choose the Mateiko, there is a lift.

Creepy hotel Walls all cracked, dust everywhere, phone in the bathroom from the 20s Thin mattress like a camp bed Smelly and dirty carpet, Very poor breakfast, they even cut the bananas in half 😀 The only saving grace is the location, close to the old town and the shopping centre!! !!!!!!!!
