No.23 Premium Aparthotel

We were not prepared for the lack of reception and staff upon arrival. We saw no one during our four day stay. All communication was via WhatsApp. The room was not cleaned throughout our whole stay. Only one tea bag and one coffee sachet each was left in the room. We had one towel each and had to request an extra one for our hands. Room was clean upon arrival but we were on the lower floor and the traffic noise was loud especially the trams throughout the day. The main door was left unlocked all day and night so security poor. We had to book our bags into another hotel as the late checkout was a metal cage under the stairs with a lock that anyone could open. Breakfast was via a cafe over the road (velo 22) and it was a very poor menu so we had scrambled eggs every morning. The cafe staff on our first day were very rude and abrupt. We asked for milk for our tea and the staff member shouted at us that they don’t drink tea like this in Poland, she then insisted on charging us for the thimble of milk she begrudgingly threw at us.

It was spotless. The check in and out was seamless. very comfortable and close to the main square couldn't fault it great value would highly recommended it

We stayed in this hotel and was very impressed , there is no reception which we were a bit sceptical at first as we were checking in late but you ring the number 1/2 days before you arrive and they give u all the details on a WhatsApp message. You get given the front door code and the code to get your room key out of a little key safe , we had no problem checking in as was very simple and easy. WiFi is good to .There is also a luggage room you can keep your luggage in for when u check out and the code is given when you text the number given , meaning u can enjoy your day if your fly isn’t till later . There is also a little sitting area downstairs. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom is good and bright . The hotel is close to the centre of krakow only about a 10 minute walk. It is in a brilliant location , there is also a shop and a little cafe 4 minute walk up road on the same street for snack and refreshments.

No reception but an easy process for check in by emailing or calling the hotels number 2 days prior to your stay, they then send you codes on whatsapp prior to your check in for the main door and a key safe to get your room key, a code can be provided by messaging the hotel on whatsapp for the luggage storage if you have a late flight and no where to put your bags, this is convenient as check out time is 10am. Only a 10 minute walk to the town centre which is a beautiful square with many places to eat and drink so very convenient and the hotel is located in a safe and quiet place with corner shops a minute walk away. There’s trams running past the hotel but didnt make much noise so didn’t bother us even though our room was facing the road, there is also bus stops on the street and electric scooters that you can rent that worked out at around £0.18 a minute. We were extremely impressed with the room that we stayed in, it was very clean and tidy and had a mini fridge and a safe included. We were not disappointed by the room at all, wifi and a tv were also included with no extra cost. Would be great for group holidays, family holidays and also solo travellers.

Room was clean and tidy. 10 minute walk to the market square. Had to phone the reception for the access codes for the main door and to get the door access card for the room. No staff were on site. The rooms were not cleaned every day, the beds weren't made every day and the tea/coffee sachets were not replenished during my stay. If you choose bed and breakfast the vouchers you are sent are for the cafe/bar accross the street. There is a tram stop close to the hotel

On arrival we had to phone the number on the door to gain entry, we were given a whatsapp message with the door code and the code for our key, it is kept on a key locker in the hallway. We had booked penthouse with bath, it sounded a bit more fancier than it was, it was basically the top floor and had a bath with a shower attachment. The room was clean and modern, it had a safe, fridge and a kettle. A tv but obviously only polish channels. The wifi wasn't great, 5G worked better. The room wasn't cleaned in the 6 days we were staying, the beds not changed, this is an extra charge if you wish. I was disappointed with this, had I of known this I would not have booked. This hotel also doesn't have a reception, its all done by phone call. I had to phone on a few occasions and the phone was always answered after a few rings. If you keep your windows open at night you will hear lots of sirens, I was woken up a few times with the sirens going up and down the road. You can keep your luggage free of charge at the hotel if you have a late flight, just phone the reception and they will give you the code, the locker is opposite the lift on the bottom floor. Overall an ok stay but without the room being cleaned and no physical reception I won't be staying here again.
