Good - the hotel is very close to the old town. There are also lots of local shops near by for drinks / snacks The shower was lovely, powerful and clean. Housekeeping did a great job of making our beds and making the room feel welcoming on our return each day. I found the beds very comfortable also with nice fluffy pillows and a light blanket. Bad -as many people have said, no air conditioning. Although there was a floor fan in the room, which made it bearable. We were there with 31 degree weather and I think I’d manage a lot better, if there was at least a fridge for a cold drink. Which moves me onto point 2. No fridge. So no cold drinks. I can understand the air con and lift is a massive structural change and maybe the old building cannot accommodate but a fridge is just an appliance with a plug. Surely who ever runs this hotel can provide a small fridge in each room? You can purchase ice cups from local shops to make at least one cold drink. The building does not have a lift. So again, as the other reviews state, if you have mobility issues either stay else where or book ground floor, Another thing to mention, the reception for hotel is in another hotel further down the road. Check in is easy enough once you know this. There is a sign on door with details. We enjoyed our stay. It was a nice base, close to the busy old town and lots of public transport links. Think it would be perfect in cooler months where air con and cold drinks wouldn’t be an issue.

Very clean, staff friendly and helpful. Room was very spacious and airy. Breakfast offered a large, fresh selection of well prepared foods. Plenty of choice. Krakow is a fantastic City for a long weekend or more. Street cafe culture is superb, loads to see and do.

A bit of a disappointment, actually. This hotel is rated a 4* but it really should be 3* at best. The accommodation is tired and dated. Toiletries consist of a 0ne-does-all body/hair wash. There is heating in rooms but no A/C. We had heating switched off and the room was stifling- will be worse in summer months. There is no concierge service, as stated. This is an annexe type property a few doors down from the main Yarden Hotel, where the main reception is.

We stayed in a twin room on the second floor. It is basic but spotlessly clean and comfortable. We were aware that check in was a few doors down the street and that there was no lift, so no surprise. The staff at the Yarden Hotel were lovely and extremely helpful, sorting out excursions for us. The Zulian is a 10 minute stroll to the main square, which is fabulous.

Loved this hotel a stones throw away from the old square so very well located ,,friendly customer service on the reception who were very helpful ,rooms were very spacious and more than adequate for a short stay myself and 14 year old stopped here for 3 nights and were very impressed with the cleanliness and very high standards presented by the hotel ,the breakfast was good and served up to 11am daily and there is something to suit everyones taste , luggage storage is also available for your day of departure if you have a late flight check out is by 11am so again very convenient .overall experience was excellent highly recommend and will look to return when next in Krakow .

Good location midway between train station/shopping centre and the old town. Yes the road is busy outside but that's not the hotels fault. Room was spotless clean, adequate for a short break. Lucky for us only 3flights up. Anymore than that and we would have had a problem. The breakfast choices were great, bound to find something you like and to fill you up. Staff around both hotels (reception in Yarden a few doors down) were very pleasant. The double bed had two single duvets which we didn't understand and the bath towels weren't big enough. Overall a good experience.
