Good location, 10 minutes walk from Krakow Central Station. The room was very spacious, and even though it was a hostel, it was large enough to spread out my suitcase. There was a shared kitchen, a spacious lounge, and the staff were kind. I highly recommend this place if you are staying in Krakow.

Hostel not far from the station, excellent value for money, clean shared bathroom and the essentials for sleeping in the room. There are no tablecloths for the bathroom but you can rent them for one euro. Equipped with a common kitchen well stocked with everything you need to prepare delicious dinners or lunches. Also equipped with a well-equipped TV room with armchairs and tables. You come back

As a young female I would never stay here ever again or wish for any of my friends or anyone to stay here!!!! Firstly, the rooms are super basic and old, there is no air flow whatsoever and no AC, therefore it is extremely difficult to get any sleep during the stay. Not to mention the lack of competence from staff who work there and the lack of communication and respect for guests from management. Whilst I was staying there in a private room with my boyfriend, it was late at night around 2330 when my boyfriend went for a shower. The showers are located on the same floor as the rooms as they are an annex. I was just about to go to sleep and wait for him to come back from the shower when a large drunken, shirt less and aggressive man entered our private room (Block B room 14). I was shocked and felt extremely scared and vulnerable. Luckily my boyfriend heard the commotion and ran into the room asking the man to leave. We called the hotel reception and asked for help, as the man then went into the bathroom and began throwing things around and staring at us. We felt intimidated and threatened! The receptionist who was working, said this person wasn't even a guest of the hostel which makes this even more shocking! They state on booking websites that they have 24 hour security which clearly is not true as this wouldn't have happened, and when asked at reception they said they do not have security and do not monitor people coming in and out of the hostel. Which is also laughable as the luggage storage key sits on the reception so anyone could access the luggage. After speaking to the hostel staff they then offer only a 10% refund. This is not acceptable compensation to what had happened and the fear that has been left with us. The hostel have made us feel unheard throughout all of this. If I had been alone in the room or with another female I dread to think what could have been the outcome. We sent an email to the management team over a week ago and have had no response. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!

Dizzy Daisy Hostel is near the old town of the best city of Poland, Krakow. You can walk also easily to the shopping mall, Galeria and Krakow main train station and bus station, Dworzec. Kitchen is good there are nice tables and available kitchen materials. You can make your meals there. The very big problems are, WiFi as many guests complainted about that. Forget the WiFi! The staff always said yes there's or we will check but nothing changed. They must know that all the travelers need to get WiFi for their plans. They didn't solve this problem when we stayed. The room is big enough but I can't say about the comfortable about the beds and the heating system. Bed was very thin and not comfortable. They must change the beds. They organise pub crawl but I think their information is wrong or they didn't join this pub crawl. We met with two girls in the Rynok and they took us first very bad hostel and they don't offer good quality drinks. If you want better you must pay they said. It was really stupid organisation I have ever been... I don't recommend that. Krakow is nice city and there are many options. There are many bars and clubs thete. You can go any by yourself.

Stayed here for two night while visiting Krakow. I had a private room with bathroom. Check in was easy and the staff were nice. My room was clean but very basic. No toiletry or anything were provided. It is located about a 10 minute walk to the main square in old town and about a 10 minute walk to the train station. There are plenty of places to eat and drink near by. Overall, my stay here was pleasant.

Would be perfect if they bought some wooden bunk beds! There's squeaky beds then there is these beds! You can't breath without them squeaking! Cool old building. Easy walk from the station and old town. Nice kitchen and outdoor area. Reception was open when I arrived at 10:30pm. Free luggage storage. Enjoyed my stay

The https://shh.travel/ website shows 6 co-owners, highly responsive to positive comments but completely indifferent to complaint email. So I post my unanswered email here. My husband and I stayed at Dorm 3 of Dizzy Daisy Downtown Hostel Krakow from January 27-29, 2022. Dorm 3 is fully booked on the 29th so we moved to Dorm 1 instead. We are elderlies (and we are Asian) very much prefer lower bunk beds. My husband went to Dorm 1 after 10am to check available lower bunks. One young man staying at Dorm 1 asked my husband "What do you want". My husband said we stay at Dorm 1 tonight. The man then told my husband to speak at a lower voice because someone is sleeping but he spoke much louder. I went to Reception to brief the lady receptionist about this unfriendly person in Dorm 1. At around 11.30am, my husband went to Dorm 1 to check available lower bunks again. The man ordered my husband to "get out or I am going to make a complaint at Reception". My husband replied "Let's go together to Reception". On the way down the stairs, the man swearing at my husband. Just a few steps before reaching the ground, the man, with both hands, pushed my husband from the back. My husband hit on the wall and bounced through the door to the Reception area. My husband fell on his knees and physically hurt. The Receptionist told the man to stop. Three staying guests helped to bring my husband standing up. The incident was witnessed and the hostel said it's recorded by CCTV. The Receptionist told the man to leave but offered to give him a refund. I disagreed to let him go and asked the Receptionist to call the Police - this is an assault which is a criminal offence. The man went back to the Dorm to pack. Receptionist called Security and "I thought" Security called the "Police". In about 10 minutes, the man returned the keys at Reception. Receptionist told him he need to wait for the Police. Without insisting to get a refund, the man said "good bye" and ran away like a fugitive. Soon after the man stepped out, two Security Guards arrived. I said to the guards they should bring the man back as he had just walked out. That did not happen. I was offered an explanation though. Policemen came. Two of them took my husband going around in a Police car trying to find the man but to no avail. I strongly insisted to file a report at the Police Station to have the man arrested. My husband decided not to proceed as the man had already paid a price to have disgraced his country and his fellow Danish. After Policemen left, I asked the Receptionist our accommodation arrangement for the night. We were offered a free upgrade to a twin-room with shared bathroom but after a quick discussion with husband we thought we should be compensated for a free room for the night. The Receptionist told me to come back after 2pm and get a reply from the Reception Manager. I spoke to Reception Manager at 4pm, she was calm and not quite empathetic as if assault is no big deal in

We had a small private room for two with shower and toilet. It was clean and simple, however all the wifi had very poor reception in the room and the bed was uncomfortable... Other than that, friendly staff, close to the station and a 10-15 minute walk from the old town.

Great stay. Very cheap and comfortable. In a good location and with friendly staff. Very welcoming. The room is big enough and with a private bathroom. There was a common room with a TV and couches and the ability to cook in a well stocked kitchen.
