Excellent hotel in the heart of the Jewish Quarter, close to many quality bars and restaurants. Rooms are compact, but spotless and most importantly, a good shower and bathroom. Breakfast was typically European, plentiful and good quality. Good coffee, tea and jucies etc. Bed was extremely comfortable, only noise I heard was the refuse trucks, but nothing the hotel can do about that, it wasn't really early though. Krakow Grzegorzki railway station 10 min walk, trains to Wieliczka Salt Mine & Auschwitz from here, you pay conductor on train, very cheap & easy. Stradom Tram stop 10 mins opposite direction, buy tickets at the machine at the stop. Tourist tickets available, up to 72 hrs, minimum is 20 mins. The tickets work on buses as well, they can be one zone or 3 zone. Lots of museums, galleries, churches and exhibitions very close by, and others easily accessible by public transport or taxi. Plac Nowy, 2 mins away has a rotunda with varied street food stalls, and different types of market during the day Staff are extremely helpful and courteous, any problems resolved immediately. Rooms were cleaned every day to a high standard. Lift worked all the time and WiFi was good. This was my second visit to Krakow, and a return stay here would be no problem.

The first night we stayed here, we were in room 2. All seemed OK on initial inspections. The staff seemed pleasant. We went to make ourselves a drink and freshen up. We'd been up since 3am for an early flight. There's a kettle (that's corded, so you have to unplug it every time to fill it up, so take water to it, and a coffee machine. Neither of the appliances worked. We pulled the big table theyre on, out the way to find they weren't plugged in. Not a big deal, right? Well, the electric socket was hanging out of the wall. We plugged the units in, very carefully and made a coffee. Coffee made, went to put some milk in it, no milk. We left the tea and coffee as we both have milk. The air conditioning in the room was set to 24°c and we searched everywhere for a day to adjust it. We ended up going to reception and asking. They keep the remotes to the air con. You cannot adjust it yourself from the room! We borrowed a remote and turned the air con down. We left the room for our day out thinking all was well. On returning later that day, we realised the air conditioning was off. We questioned it with reception the next day (reception is left unattended from 6pm onwards so if you have any issues, all there is is an emergency phone number) and was told the air conditioning has been turned off in all rooms now because the heating was on. To advertise the room as ”Air conditioning AND heating”.....it seems its air conditioning (the you can't control) OR heating. The room must have been 20°c + all night. We thought we'd have a cold shower, to try and bring our temperature down before bed. My wife had her shower, walked across the bedroom floor bare foot and got a small shard of glass stuck in her foot! I went for a shower, turned the shower up full pressure, and apparently this activates a neat feature that forces the shower head out of its holder and smashes you straight in the head. The smell from the bathroom in room 2 was also, terrible. Not quite sure what it was. The toilet was cracked in room 2, but didn't affect use. The shower trap was cracked and loose, not fun if you step on it! We couldn't open the windows because the room faces onto a very busy street. Lots of bars, lots of people, lots of traffic. We were woken up at 11pm, 12am, and 12:30am by noises, car alarms from outside and the heat. Guests coming back late, also seemed to come in and congregate in the hallways to talk. I think if reception were manned, they could remind staff that to be a bit more respectful for others staying. Needless to say, the next morning, we asked to move rooms. Next day we were asked to check out room 9. This is on the second floor. Little bit higher away from the street. The bathroom didn't smell, but that was set to change. The room seemed a big improvement. It was already a lot cooler (although the air con didn't work). Knowing that it probably wasn't going to work, we left the windows open all day while we were out to keep the room cool. On return

Nice, clean basic hotel. Decor good. Beds and quilts comfy. Coffee and kettle in room but no milk. Free safe. Quite a walk to old town, but worth it. Used Ubers a lot. Reasonable charges. Breakfast good value. Noticed quite a lot of noise at night.

Very nice very clean very comfy hotel The price was very good, room maintained everyday fresh sheets fresh towels Very big rooms very happy with my stay here Only thing I would suggest is asking for a room which doesn’t face the road side, there’s a crossing with a little ticking noise that you can hear from very early morning

We stayed at the Hotel Wyspianski in Krakow for 5 nights. Really can't fault this place at all. We had a lovely large room on the 4th floor, the bed was comfortable and they left free bottles of water for us. The hotel is in a great location, close to the Old Town, the main Market Square, a big shopping mall and lots of other attractions. The staff were all very friendly and the breakfast buffet was delicious with so much choice. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant a couple of times and the food was amazing. The hotel bar was well stocked with Polish vodka and overall we've had a fantastic time and would certainly stay there again!

If I could give this hotel more than 5 stars, I would ,it us spotless, rooms are very spacious, great location ,just a 10 minute stroll away from the main square and right across the street from the shopping mall. Very quiet location, but it is not far from everywhere you need to get to .from the moment you enter the hotel to the minute you leave, it is just brilliant. The staff were fabulous, very helpful, and always smiling

This hotel was just about perfect. Only a 3- block walk to the largest medieval square in Europe and a $2 FreeNow app (cheaper than Uber) taxi ride to Wawel Castle, Schindler Museum, and the amazing Jewish quarter. The rooms are decent sized and very well sound-proofed. Each guest can pick a plant to care for during their stay. You are given a reward if you decline full daily housekeeping. Staff at the front desk and restaurant speak great English and were very helpful. The buffet is great with lots of fresh fruit and the best fish I had in Poland. The shower actually has a door and the AC was great. Views are wonderful.

Since it is within walking distance from the square, there is no problem with the location, and the facilities in the room were not particularly inconvenient, so I think it is comfortable. I think there is no difference in the image of the room of a Japanese business hotel a little large.

Outstanding
GGuest UserWe recently stopped at the AC Hotel by Marriot Krakow for a three-day city break. Let’s talk about the positives first… The hotel is in a great location, it is not too far from the city centre but is on the outskirts, a few minutes’ walk from a large green recreational ground which was lovely. A Bolt (Somewhat a European version of Uber) was almost instantly available at the hotel, and we never waited more than four minutes. A Bolt cab into the city was approximately £2.50 which was great too. The hotel is clearly very new, and this shows with its modern design and use of LED ***** lights which look amazing at night-time. The reception area is modern, has free coffee machines (for use between 1000 hours and 1600 hours) and has a bar within, which again, is very nice. The spa was lovely and is included within the price of the room. We visited at approximately 0900 hours, and it was very quiet which was nice, at one point, we were the only people within the spa. Though, don’t allow looks to deceive you. There were some annoyances with the AC Hotel by Marriot Krakow, and I think it is important to raise them. Firstly, the hotel is next to a building site, which is not evident from the pictures of the hotel’s website or online listings. We paid for an upgraded room with a balcony so you can imagine the disappointment when we learnt it was overlooking a very loud and dusty building site – so much so that the balcony was unusable. Secondly, the AC. (Not the name, the air conditioning!). This hotel uses the AC controls which link in with the windows and doors to prevent loss of energy, which is all well and good when it works. Ours seemed to glitch out constantly and as such locked the AC in the off position. We rung reception after spending a few hours in unbearable heat to be told that there was nobody who could help in the evenings and that they’d send someone in the morning. Fine, so we went to bed only to be woken by someone an hour later who said that they had come to look at the AC. We got up whilst the lady, what can only be described as “faffed” with the AC and then shrugged her shoulders and left – without resolving the issue. Now, if we could have opened the window, or the balcony door, to solve the issue then it wouldn’t have been as much as a big deal, yet it was a trade off between unbearable heat or construction site noise and dust. Another annoyance is when we ordered room service. We telephoned down to the bar and asked if they sold “Sauvignon Blanc”. We were told that they did and that it was however much. I asked for two bottles, and they said that they’d send someone up with it. 45-minutes later, the first waitress arrived with a trolley, an ice bucket, two wine glasses and two bottles of Chardonnay. We explained that we had ordered Sauvignon Blanc and that we would be grateful if she wouldn’t mind swapping it for the correct wine. She took the two bottles away and said that she would return. 20-minutes down the line, she r
GGuest UserRecent visit. It is as advertised right in the main square. Collected by taxi which we booked before hand, we literally had a 30 second walk from our parking spot. The staff are very friendly. Our room was on floor 3 which was accessible by lift. The room was very clean, nice bathroom although small, the shower once figured out was good. There was a bath in the main room, a sofa, a comfortable double bed, tv, safe and fantastic sound proofing. I thought we were bound to hear the hum of people from the square but we couldn't. We didn't have a view but this didn't bother us. There was a mini bar with pop and water bottles which were replaced when the room was cleaned The breakfast in the morning was plentiful, help yourself, full choice including cooked items, fried eggs, omelette, scrambled eggs, white sausage. I tried all of these over our 4 day stay. All very nice. Go out the main door and there are three restaurants linked to the hotel. We used all of these whether to eat or just have a quick drink. We tried potato pancakes and ghoulish, zurek soup , which we're used to as we have a Polish daughter in law. The square is big, loads of restaurants to eat and drink at and we could nip in and out of our room to drop stuff off. It's the ideal location, I would record definitely use again if we return.
GGuest UserThis boutique hotel has the perfect location - old town, but without any rush and noise (trams!), between Main Square and Kazimierz District. Easy walkable distance to all main attractions, restaurants and pubs. The place itself is spotless clean with very friendly and helpful staff. Good size rooms, excellent shower rooms with a floor heating. Daily cleaning service (you can op-out), tea/coffee and bottled water (sparkling and still). Sugar yes, milk - no. The usual amenities - hair dryer, safe box and refrigerator. We occupied courtyard room, which was dark and we had to use lamps even during the day. It might be annoying for some people, personally I didn't mind - most of the time we were out anyway. The hotel offers breakfast service, but we didn't use it. There's also sauna. For the location and price (if booked well in advance), I highly recommend this hotel.
GGuest UserA good sized and well located hotel, it’s just a short stroll from the main train station and a few minutes’ walk to the old town. Décor wise it feels quite dated, both in the reception area and the rooms, but everything was clean, tidy and in full working order. The room was just about an adequate size, we had requested a twin which came with one double bed and one single, and there was little or no room to the side of each bed with one being up against the wall and one against the windows. Two singles would have worked a little better perhaps. There was also a small sofa and a small round table. The beds were very comfy and our room was facing on to the internal courtyard so no noise from outside at all, although being adjacent to the lift we did get a bit of noise from that, but nothing too intrusive. The temperature in both the room and the rest of the hotel was far too warm, quite hot in fact. There was an air conditioning unit in the room, but using energy to both heat the room and then cool it seems ridiculous. The shower was on the small side, but hot and powerful. Other facilities included tea/coffee making facilities, complimentary bottles of water, TV and a safe. Breakfast was a help yourself buffet affair, with the only hot options being a frankfurter style sausage and scrambled egg. There was a good cold spread though, with meats, cheeses, tomato & mozzarella, hard boiled eggs and a few mixed up concoctions – presumably the Polish equivalents of coleslaw and potato salad, but whatever they were, they were quite pleasant, and also some cereals. What was very much lacking was any prepared fruit (just a few whole apples), yoghurts (none at all) and pastries (just bread and rolls). Overall, I thought this was a pretty good hotel given the price, it’s a very good location, staff were friendly enough and I’d have no problem with recommending it if you’re on a tight budget.
GGuest UserJust back from 3 nights at Hotel Unicus Palace - an amazing experience from start to finish. Staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly, going above and beyond for guests. Always plenty staff at the front desk & spa reception. They made our stay so easy! The rooms are beautiful, cleaned daily & to a high standard. Location of the hotel is ideal, only a minutes walk to the main square. Loads of shops & places to ear near by. The spa is amazing - hot tub & pool always very clean and so relaxing. My partner proposed to me whilst we were staying at the hotel - the trip was incredible and the hotel will always be special to me for this reason. Thank you for a great stay.
CCanberkThis was a perfect stay. The hotel has a 3 star rating but the service and the physical conditions are similar to a 5 star facility. They had robes in addition to towels in the room which was a pleasant surprise. I also had the chance to eat at the restaurant downstairs, which offers tasty meals for affordable prices. Members of the staff were kind and knowledgable, the bed was comfy and everything was super-clean. The only downside is the location, it's 20-25 mins from the city center by tram. But if you have engagements in the southern part of the city or you don't mind the commute this is the perfect hotel for you. You couldn't get this quality for this price in anywhere in the old town.
GGuest UserWe arrived very early in Krakow & were able to leave our bags 1st thing in the morning to go & explore. Location very close to old town & a comfortable 5/10 mins walk. Our 1st night was not great due to other guests making a lot of noise. We mentioned this in the morning & were lucky enough to be moved to a different room which was perfect 😊the breakfast was lovely & varied & I was over the moon to have a Greek salad one morning! It maybe a good idea to label a couple of the dishes that are not familiar to the British, as I like to try different foods but came unstuck with one of the items which was very fishy! Maybe my own fault for trying 🙃
PPipouDevThe hotel is located 10 minutes walk from the old town and in front of a bus stop, and it is a convenient location. The reception is open 24/24 and it is possible to have swabs against a caution. Furthermore, the rooms are clean and spacious. The communs are also of an impeccable cleanness, they are washed every day! The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable and very comfortable.
