Cet hôtel reste le meilleur de l’île pour l’instant. Il est situé dans un parc arboré magnifique où nous nous sommes endormis avec les bruits de la nuit et réveillés par les chants d’oiseaux, c’était un bonheur. La chambre est une villa spacieuse et décorée avec goût dans le style khmer esprit brocante. La piscine est très belle, le restaurant délicieux et le personnel totalement adorable. Ceci dit, la chambre (la plomberie) aurait besoin de petites rénovations pour garder son charme. Pour le moment l’emplacement est unique mais il risque de subir rapidement la concurrence de petites guesthouses très coquettes où on mange délicieusement bien et où l’ambiance est plus friendly et moins feutrée. Une belle adresse mais très chère par rapport aux guesthouses autour (nous avons testé successivement les deux types d’hébergement). Pour résumer, ce n’est pas un hôtel de luxe mais plus un cottage, cela reste l’adresse la plus confortable.

Lovely place and the staff are lovely and very helpful and welcoming. My only fault with the hotel was, No kettle to make a hot drink and no refrigerator in the room to keep drinks cold.

Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits dans une villa. Avec difficulté nous avons pu rejoindre l’hôtel via leur Tuk tuk, compliqué de se faire comprendre. L’accueil est chaleureux. Le site est superbe, de belles villas de style Khmer avec de jolis mobiliers, noyé dans une belle végétation. Les chambres = villas sont spartiates, mal aérées, il y fait très chaud, les ventilateurs sont à la peine. L’éclairage est vraiment insuffisant, rien que des ampoules qui éclairent seraient un mieux! Pas de coffre dans la chambre à notre arrivée il a fallu en demander un. Les jeunes personnes qui s’occupaient de l’hôtel lors de notre passage avaient beaucoup de mal à s’exprimer en anglais, il faudrait les former, étonnant pour un établissement qui n’accueille que des touristes! La piscine est grande et belle mais pas entretenue (trouble 2 jours sur 3), dommage ! Le petit déjeuner est médiocre à l’exception des crêpes. Le restaurant est par contre qualité avec des prix raisonnables, et la carte des bons-coktails est belle.

Dit resort geeft mixed feelings. De ligging is prachtig op het eiland in mekong river. Receptie prima. Vriendelijke mensen. Waar het resort echt tekort schiet is het comfort van de huisjes waar je overnacht. Donker en muf weinig ventilatie. Tenzij je de ramen wagenwijd open zet. Maar dan lopen de insecten zo binnen. Er is een muskietennet. Want huisjes zijn niet volledig dicht. Ik snap dat men de koloniale stijl wil behouden. Maar met wat meer licht. Aankleding en horren zou het een stuk beter worden. Tenslotte matrassen zijn knetterhard. Niet te doen. . Houd er rekening mee dat het personeel weinig engels spreekt.

The hotel is situated on an island across from Kratie, it is accessed by the local ferry, which departs when it is full. The hotel rooms are traditional rooms on stilts, but are very dark inside, difficult to have to windows open as there is no mesh so all bugs are able to get in. Lighting is poor, rooms felt stuffy, there is a ceiling fan and mosquito net. There was a frog in the room by the bed in the morning, thankfully I did put a light on before stepping out of bed and saw it in time. Restaurant is located in main reception area overlooking the swimming pool, food was acceptable, maybe a little pricey compared to other meals we had been having. We only had the 1 night here and I’m sure there are better/easier places to stay in Kratie.

Resort deludente, zanzariera rotta che non va bene in un posto così, vasca che perdeva acqua, colazione buona ma scarsa, prezzi altissimi considerando la nazione, ristorante carissimo e Wi-Fi non funzionante per guasto tecnico. Se siete in zona consiglio homestay piuttosto che questo resort.

Très joli hôtel avec des villas en bois traditionnelles, une très grande piscine et du calme. Pour se ressourcer sur la jolie île de Koh Trong. Personnel aux petits soins. Bons repas et chouette petit dej. Nous reviendrons c’est sur ! Seul point d’amélioration : avoir un plan d’accès et mieux préparer le pick up a l’embarcadère (oui il faut prendre un bac pour accéder à l’île). Les infos que nous avions étaient un peu limitées. Nous avons eu un pb avec la réservation Agoda qui a été gérée par le manager avec efficacité. Merci. (Si vous réservez sur Agoda passez leur un appel avant car Agoda a tendance à vendre n’importe quoi…)

Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux. Cuisine excellente, endroit apaisant et calme, personnel au petit soin. chambre très spacieuse et bien équipée. lit confortable. L'ile est très pittoresque et permet des promenades le long du Mékong.
