We had booked 2 nights and arrived in the evening. The cable car and the cog railway end right in front of the reception. In the evening there was a wonderful 4-course menu that you can put together as an option. We were given excellent advice on the choice of drinks. We were seated and had another table the next night. We were lucky with the weather and were able to enjoy the sunrise from the bed. The breakfast is a buffet with everything your heart desires. We were given a valley and a mountain ride from the hotel. We came within 5 m of the ibex. The sunset is just spectacular from the highest point. The stay on the Pilatus is also an unforgettable experience thanks to the "imperial weather" and the many photos.

Best stay ever. The dining area and the food was great; soft and comfy sheets; five minute walk to the Pilatus mountain trails; warm staff. Just perfect.
Ps. That little cart that brings you up to the Pilatus-kulm and the hotel is free of charge if you are a guest. Normally you would have to pay. The hotel provides the guest with one ticket up and one ticket down so you cannot go down once you have arrived. Dinner and breakfast is included and they are both so so good.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Hotel Pilatus-Kulm sehr genossen! Gestartet sind wir mit dem ebenfalls tollen Krimi-Dinner mit toller schauspielerischer Leistung und wunderbarer kulinarischer Verwöhnung. Nach einem Schlummertrunk liessen wir uns ins gemütliche Bett fallen und genossen die Nacht auf 2132 Metern. Am nächsten Morgen wurden wir von der aufgehenden Sonne geweckt. - Was für ein Panorama! Naja, als "locals" kennen wir dieses ja von unseren etlichen Besuchen auf unserem Hausberg. Aber dieses am frühen Morgen nur zusammen mit anderen Hotelgästen und dem bereits eifrig zu Werke gehenden Personal zu geniessen, war schon nochmals was anderes! Nach dem feinen Frühstück (es fehlte an nichts!) genossen wir noch ein paar Stunden an der Bergsonne, bevor wir uns dann am frühen Nachmittag mit der Luftseilbahn wieder auf den Weg ins neblige Tal auf machten. Der Aufenthalt hier hatte seinen Preis, ja. Aber es hat sich gelohnt! Wir sind begeistert!

We stayed at this hotel for one night during our train trip in Switzerland and really enjoyed it. The experience of staying overnight at the Kulm Pilatus far exceeds what an afternoon visit can provide. We arrived in the afternoon and spent the time until dinner enjoying the breathtaking views all around. In the evening, dinner was served at the Queen Victoria Restaurant, a beautiful establishment with an ancient ambience. The room was nice, the bathroom fine and the bed comfortable. Next day in the morning we got up very early to see the sunrise over the vierwaldstätersee. An amazing experience. Kulm is a really beautiful and historic hotel on top of the mountains and I highly recommend it.
