I regularly stay at the Sonnenberg. As always, I got my room - great. In the evening I was able to enjoy the menu of the month of January. Great idea - brilliantly implemented and professionally presented. Thank you very much

For starters the hotel has no means of transportation. Even for a well connected country like Swiss, this hotel doesn’t have a proper transport. If you do not own your own car, there is no public transport. Uber or any other cab is the only alternative.

The room was the tiniest room I have ever stayed at. No elevator, which is okay and expected at hotels in Europe. But the bedroom was so tiny I couldn’t open up a check in bag fully. The bathrooms were tiny.
The hotel has a restaurant with a good view and the ratings are all for the restaurant and not for the hotel - accommodation.
May be try the food but not a great place to stay.

We had our best New Year's Eve here so far. As a surprise, we were given a room with a whirlpool bath. The menu on New Year's Eve was perfect. The staff is very friendly and helpful. From our point of view, there are only positive aspects here. Thank you again for the great stay.

- Excellent staff (especially Claudia) and location - Very nice rooms with mostly all facilities available - A bit far from the central station, but the walk from the hotel was nothing less than perfect - the only thing they could improve on is their breakfast offering

Fantastic view from our upgrade room with view and outdoor patio at restaurant. Free parking with easy access to building. Downside is no elevator, so carrying luggage up flights of stairs was very challenging. No air conditioning in room, there was a portable fan, could benefit from a ceiling fan to distribute air better, windows had to be left open and thus invited mosquitoes indoors.
