I recently stayed at Sunway Putra Hotel and had a wonderful experience. The breakfast spread was impressive, with a wide variety of food choices that catered to both local and international tastes. From freshly prepared hot dishes to lighter options, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
The hotel is also very suitable for a family vacation. The location is convenient, directly connected to Sunway Putra Mall, which makes it easy to find food, shopping, and entertainment without having to travel far. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the service was warm and accommodating.
Overall, Sunway Putra Hotel is a great choice for families looking for both comfort and convenience in Kuala Lumpur. Highly recommended!
This is my second time staying at this hotel. The price is affordable, and it’s my first-choice accommodation for the Standard Chartered KL Marathon. It’s within walking distance to the starting point, with plenty of shops located nearby
Room was spacious, clean and smells good. Walking distance to Jalan TAR and Masjid India. Friendly staff and checking in process was so smooth except only 1 receptionist at counter and it does took a long time. Literally you can hear sound from next door and couldnt get a proper sleep due to noise from next door.
Very Good

Good location. Surrounded by local restaurants and walking distance to MRT, PWTC and also Sunway Putra Mall. Checking in a bit troublesome as I need to walk opposite the building on the 2nd floor to check in. Even in heavy rain, they still can't send over the key.
An interesting experience staying here, we weren’t sure what to expect but it was great.
The apartment we had was small but fine and comfortable for the 4 nights
Location is great and a quick trip to the shopping centres etc
It was a more “real” experience of KL than staying in a hotel
The pool is amazing , could be a little bit warmer.
It’s been a while since my last trip to KL, and I was looking forward to a relaxing stay. The hotel is located in a nice and relatively quiet area. The surroundings are not too crowded, and you can even see the KLCC from the street outside, which is a pleasant bonus.
The parking system is a bit unique—it uses a car lift, and guests are required to pay RM10 for staff assistance to park the car. While this may be convenient for some, it might not suit everyone’s preferences.
The room was clean, but I found the sink placement (outside the bathroom) to be a bit inconvenient, as water tended to splash and get the surrounding area quite wet. The working table came with a very basic chair, which felt a little underwhelming for a hotel of this standard.
Housekeeping is managed by foreign staff. My mother, who doesn’t speak English, tried to request a towel in the morning. Unfortunately, there was a misunderstanding, and the staff thought she was opting out of room cleaning for the day. As a result, when we returned to the room at 11pm, we were surprised to find it had not been cleaned.
I contacted the operator to clarify, but he only spoke English and couldn’t understand my question in Malay. He explained that guests must inform the operator daily if they would like their rooms cleaned. This was quite surprising to me, as I’ve never stayed in a 5-star hotel that requires such a daily request for housekeeping.
Overall, while the location is good and the hotel has potential, the service and communication process could be improved. It was not the experience I was expecting from a 5-star hotel.
The B&B is generally very nice. It's located in an apartment complex, with a shopping mall nearby. The Petronas Twin Towers are a short walk, about a 20-minute walk.
The layout of the B&B is a combined living room and kitchen, with one bedroom and a separate wet and dry bathroom.
The living room has a coffee table, a large LCD TV, a sofa, floor-to-ceiling windows, a dining table for four, and even the overseas version of iQiyi. I even watched some ”Farming” (Hehuo people understand)!
The kitchen has a washer-dryer, a sink, and cabinets with dishes. The washer-dryer was a great addition; otherwise, we would have been left with no clean clothes. However, after washing our first batch of clothes, we discovered socks left in the washing machine by the previous tenant. I hope the landlord will check more often in the future.
There were three of us, and the bedroom had a double bed, while the third person slept on a mattress in the living room.
As for toiletries, slippers, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, and shower gel were all provided. The shampoo lathered easily and was very good, and the shower had a strong shower head. The elevator in the apartment complex requires a card, which is quite safe. The security guard downstairs, who I don't know if he's Indian or Malay, was very helpful. When we ordered takeout and didn't have change, they even helped us with change and communicated with the delivery guy, who didn't speak English.
There's also a free rooftop gym and infinity pool, which aren't often used and appear clean. You can see the Petronas Twin Towers and the Kuala Lumpur skyline at night.
But here's the point: I don't think any of this is the most noteworthy aspect of this homestay. Its biggest draw is the sunset. The floor-to-ceiling windows face west, and while there's some sun exposure, it's a temporary homestay, so it doesn't really matter. There's air conditioning and curtains anyway. So, the afternoon we arrived, we were treated to a stunning Kuala Lumpur sunset from the homestay, which is one of my favorite photos of the trip.
The unit itself was OK. No balcony or view and a very damaged floor from prior water damage. However, the apartment is extremely noisy, even though it's very high up: there's a local school or something with kids yelling at the strangest times. When they're finally done, it becomes like party noises and engines. Afterwards, the traffic makes a lot of noise. In the morning, construction sites nearby make it unpleasant. So it's basically quiet only between 3 and 5am... The building's lifts are extremely slow.7/11 downstairs is convenient. Check-in is friendly and professional. Overall I wouldn't stay again, mostly because of the noise.
Stayed in this apartment hotel a few times before. Quite new property with clean and functional layout. Big open space design, minimalist concept in apartment with functional kitchen, washing machine, fast 5G internet, high speed elevators, quick checking and out. My favourite facility is the big gym at L6 with free weights, benches, and various fitness equipment for various body parts, good enough for keen gym goers.
With a stay at this apartment, you'll be centrally located in Kuala Lumpur, within a 5-minute drive of Petronas Twin Towers and KLCC Park. This apartment is 0.3 mi (0.5 km) from World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur and 2.5 mi (4.1 km) from Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.
Don't miss out on recreational opportunities including an outdoor pool and a fitness center.
A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours).
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned apartment, featuring a kitchenette with a stovetop and a microwave. A 50-inch LED television with digital programming provides entertainment, while complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected.

Room is include with 1 parking. Room is spacious and squeaky clean. The scenery is just amazing. Plenty of restaurants nearby within walkable distance. Not to forget, Sunway Putra Mall is just a walking distance within 7 minutes from the host place. Satisfied with the service provided by them.
Definitely will come again.
AAnonymous UserWe truly enjoyed our stay at Fairfield by Marriot Chow Kit. The room was extremely clean and without bad smell. Morever, the quiet environment was suitable for our liking. The food at breakfast was delicious especially the nasi goreng, dhal curry with the roti canai and the mango juice. All in all the service was comfortable, wonderful and friendly. Congratulations! .We will definitely come again.
GGuest UserVery nice and cozy apartment on the 28th floor. Bed linen and towels were clean. Good and fast wi-fi. Instead of a TV there was a projector. In general, the design of the room is very beautiful, somewhat reminiscent of a bungalow in Bali :) cool view of the city and Petronas Towers. There is everything necessary for life (dishes, household appliances). On the 10th floor there is a public area with a swimming pool, fitness room, co-working space and barbecue area. The elevators are fast, the wait is less than a minute. Check-in and check-out are very simple, according to the instructions from WhatsApp. There you can get all the necessary information. Very pleased, thank you :)
SShaa MustafaEasy and convenient stay for a good trip . Especially for those wanna have a peace of mind. Nice and clean . Will book again for next trip .
MmahThe staff service is very good 👍The hygiene and environment of the hotel are very satisfactory. The room is very comfortable and has a bathtub in it. The scenery from the room is beautiful...the traffic is also very convenient...
SSofiaI had a room without windows, there was air conditioning, a bed and a hanger on the door. The lights were turned off every evening for 10 or 15 minutes. The soundproofing is poor. I was on the 2nd floor (it would be good if there was another room occupied and therefore it was almost quiet).
They gave me a towel (not white) and a small soap. This is a place for locals (I rented it only because it was near the monorail stop. There is no kettle, they let me iron my clothes with an old iron. There is no area for eating. The bed linen is not white, it was stained. It is dirty of course, but I understood that locals rent there and for them it is normal. The deposit is 50 ring. As a foreigner they took another 20 ring for 2 nights.
