On May 23, 2010, my wife and I had two teenage daughters to play in Kuala Lumpur. We booked the room through Kuala Lumpur. We got room 1803, which was supposed to be luxurious but it wasn't luxurious at all. Although the room is not too big, there is a double bed, a single bed, only a chair, and outdated furniture. The air conditioner was so old that the bellman who went to the room to send us our luggage said: The room will be cool in about 20 minutes, but the temperature in the room did not reach the required temperature all night! The conditions in the bathroom are quite bad. The basin leaked, and we had to put a trash can under the basin. The breakfast provided in the morning was quite bad, not up to the grade of a three-star hotel! Drinking water is not provided in the room. Staff recommend going to the coffee shop to buy water or going to the convenience store 7-11 across the main street to buy it. The reception area and lobby here are not impressed at all. There are four very, very small sofas around the pillars of the lobby. Also not recommended for the location of this hotel, as there are many locomotive repair shops on the side of the main road. When you come back at night, especially if you walk back, it is very unsafe! It is also quite far from the Twin Towers. In fact, when you are on vacation, it is not too close to any place you want to go. You have to take a taxi or walk to the Monorail station in Kuala Lumpur. Not bad, 20 minutes walk from the hotel to the station. In general, if you plan to come to Kuala Lumpur for a stroll or other trip, you will not be too satisfied with staying here! The hotel itself should not be advertised as a three-star hotel. The Malaysian government should investigate this. Tourland Travels is a travel agency in India that provides incoming services.
