During the Raya week, we went to Permai Hotel KT for a staycation. We really enjoyed it. The hotel room was clean and recently renovated. The kids love the comfortable bed and the swimming pool. The room comes with 2 complimentary breakfast for adults and extra fees for kids older than 4 years old. There’re lots of options for breakfast, including typical Malaysian nasi, noodles, cereals, kuih, fruits and salad. We also took dinner there. We ordered pastas and they were served with lots of seafood and vegetables. Between, I guess the sauce was mostly made from scratch. And the ingredients were fresh. The taste was awesome. My younger one is always picky with food. Yet she couldn’t stop eating her pasta and other orders 😆 The quality of the food far exceeds the standard for a 3 star hotel. Also, all the food was reasonably priced. With RM170 per night for a superior room, I think the experience and quality far exceed what it should deliver 😊. If you’re looking for a comfortable yet reasonably priced stay in Kuala Terengganu town., I highly recommend this hotel. And my only regret? Just OK to stay for 1 night. The room was really too small - imagine the sink could not fit into the bathroom and was located outside the bathroom. And, there were many many small ants all over the room and crawling on all the walls. We had arrived at 12pm and we had to wait for a long time for someone to turn up at reception. Then one lady arrived and checked for a long time only to tell us our room was not ready. Then, she said she would call us when our room was ready. Anyway, she lied as she did not call us at all. We turned up again at 3pm and got our room which was full of ants. I still gave a 4-star rating because of its good location where we could walk everywhere after parking our car. There was a car park behind (hourly meter paid via Touch n Go) or there were 3 free bays right outside the hotel. We tried to go to that cafe in the hotel which supposedly opened at 8am for breakfast. We arrived at 8am but the 2 ladies just refused to take our order as they said their order was not open yet. Then the guy from reception went to make his own coffee and at 8.10am we still could not order. Not sure why they were just not interested so we left and went to have breakfast in another hotel which ended up to be nicer and cheaper.

Booking bilik superior king room 3d 2n (no window). Tapi boleh request nak katil king/twins single. I request 2 single bed tpi yg ni dapat yg ada window (mengadap ke depan) . Love the aesthetically design/style but cannot with their shower soap/shampoo. Can smell good and bad at the same time. Kadang ii bau okay herbs ii star anise. Kadang ii bila buka part toilet tu bau mcm public toilet dkt rnr. Cadar/blacket ada coklat mark gitu. Maybe tk hilang walaupun dh basuh. Nth la. Tak selesa nak solat very sempit ruang untuk solat sebelah singki hijau tu ha. Mula ii dpt bilik 209 pastu 4pg mcmtu staff bg tukar bilik 210 sbb aircond tkjdi kt bilik 209. Sampai berpeluh peluh tidur malam sbb dia auto. Kita tkleh adjust temp. Lastly, room tiles. Tengoklah sendiri. Tbh not recommended for u to go with friends ke sape ii sbb bilik air tu boleh nampak dri luar kau mandi. Indah khabar dari rupa. Tapi staff baik je. Oh satu lg kalau amik bilik mcmni susah sikit la nak makan dlm bilik sbb kerusi meja dia sambungan dri kepala katil tuje. Recommend duduk 18suites, cheaper, bersih, ada meja nak makan, a bit luas berbanding payang. Air coway pun disediakan ktsana.

Friendly staff including receptionist, waitress and waiter, and car park security. Considering the low price, value for room and the most awesome thing is the room came with buffet breakfast for 3 persons, and the breakfast was really good! Overall experience is good.

My partner had chosen Ming Paragon as our home for 3 nights in Kuala Terengganu as it was centrally located & close to many places of interest. It proved to be a good decision as much research had taken place prior to our holiday. Our flight had arrived in mid-morning. But since check-in was at 2:00 pm, we had brunch first & visited 2 places of interest to kill time. We arrived at the hotel just before 2:00 pm & parked the car in front of Ming Paragon as we were not aware that the hotel’s parking was behind the building. We had also used a parking app to pay for the street parking. Check-in was fast & hassle-free. There was no porter or concierge service as this is a 3-star hotel. We carried our luggage ourselves. Our room was on the 1st floor. It was smaller than I expected. However, it was decent & clean. The mattress was not as comfortable but the strategic location more than made up for it. The air-conditioning was good & at least there was floor space for us to pray. The bathroom was a good size. The water pressure was equally good. Best of all, it was equipped with a hand-bidet. That was a pleasant surprise as it was a Chinese hotel to begin with & I half expected it not to have one. The shower gel, shampoo & conditioner smelled good too. A hair-dryer was also available. WiFi was available & complimentary. However, the TV reception wasn’t good. There was much interference. Since we were mostly outdoors, it didn’t bother us so much. Although there was no refrigerator, there was a coffee & tea-making facility. A central fridge was available in the lobby. Hence, we had left our food in their chiller. We had parked at the hotel’s designated parking in the evening. A security guard watches over our car free of charge as it was complimentary for hotel guests. We will definitely stay again whenever we are in Terengganu as Ming Paragon Hotel had met our expectations.

Very amazing newly built hotel, near to the drawbridge and shopping malls. Comfortable bed, nice receptionist and the plus plus point is the bedding and price. Two queen sized bed for a great deal price. Carpark is always full but we managed to get a place. Recommended! Book direct with them to get a better deal. Cons- Rooms are not soundproof. Can be abit annoying if there’s kids running around outside.

It is strategically located within short walking distance to the KTCC Mall. Quite a number of eateries are also within the vicinity. Shower area was a bit dark but generally the room was acceptable.

The hotel was nice view, best foods, good entrance in town and cheaper price compared to another apps. Very recommend....

this hotel is slightly far from the town and it would be perfect for those who are looking for a chill place to stay. cleanliness wise dont expect too much because you're basically living in an estate. you will see squirrel if you're lucky

I loved the view where you can randomly see the airplane departing and landing now and then. The room was quite nice, with all the amenities. I look forward to booking here again if I ever come to Terengganu in the future
