Прекрасное место! Отзывчивые хозяева с вкусной кухней, по-домашнему, с теплом и заботой! Вид восхитительный, захватывает дух! Все закаты и рассветы ваши, как у Рериха! Можно бесконечно наблюдать за величественными горами, сидя на террасе отеля. Хозяева гостеприимные, очень отзывчивые, готовые помочь, рассказать! Готовят в отеле очень вкусно, можно попробовать разные варианты индийских блюд. Главное, что готовить могут не так остро, как для местных. Отель уютный, чистый, в комнатах просто и удобно. Есть кухня, есть веранда! Рекомендую это место всем! Мы были с большой компанией и могли делать посиделки у костра, танцы на лужайке, йогу на траве с видом на горы! Благодарю это место! Благодарю отзывчивых и гостеприимных хозяев!

We are with The yoga group stayed with Rajiv for several days. They received us like good old friends. Everything was wonderful and comfortable in the rooms (they provided heaters and extra blankets for those who slept at night). Food is a different story. EVERYTHING was tasty and varied: muesli, nuts, homemade yogurt, flatbread with aromatic potatoes and spicy sauce, scrambled eggs, butter tea, coffee. And the homemade puja... it was amazing Huge gratitude from the bottom of my heart to him for his hospitality! And to our organizing guide, Margarita Shubina, for bringing us here and introducing us to everyone.

We went on a retreat in this magical place, with a group of like-minded people, a wonderful place, quiet, calm, the houses are all made of wood, mountain water flows in the soul. The owner Rajeev was a wonderful person who responded to all our requests and made us mint tea and butter tea. And once his cousin, who lives next door, had a puja, so we were invited to this puja, we were happy. The food at the hotel is Indian, delicious, I especially remember mo-mo, this dish is very similar to our dumplings with cabbage, and soup, the recipe of which Rajiv later told us. On our last evening, Rajiv made a bonfire for us. In general, I recommend this place, I really liked it.

Cottages are equipped with everything you may need and are clean and cozy. I stayed here during the summer season and was afraid of being too hot but the cottages are very airy and there are ceiling fans with different settings in both rooms. I was very comfortable and never too hot! My favorite part of staying in the cottages was drinking tea in the morning and evenings while sitting on a cozy balcony with an incredible view of the mountains and valley. Rajeev is the most friendly good-natured host in the game. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the area and never fails to have the perfect suggestion for what you’re looking to do. Staying at the Upadhyay cottages truly made me feel at home when I in fact was the furthest I’ve been from home in my life. I truly feel grateful to have gotten to stay at this beautiful place and be hosted by such wonderful people. *If you get the chance to stay here during a full moon, ask Rajeev what time the moon rises and you can watch it appear through the mountains. I have such a beautiful memory of seeing this when i stayed here.

Upadhyay Cottages is located in a picturesque village surrounded by mountains (snow clad as well!). The cottages are very spacious, clean and well-maintained. The owner (Rajeevji) and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We could see the sunrise from our cottage and enjoyed sitting in the veran***. The cottage has all facilities (including kitchen and related appliances). The place has variety of trees full of flowers and fruits. Beas river and local market are at a walking distance. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Upadhyay Cottages and would like to come back again. It's a home away from home!

I had such an amazing experience at Upadhyay Cottages the entire month I stayed there. The host and his family were incredibly welcoming and gave us an amazing experience. The room was always very well cleaned and had fans, electricity, hot water, wifi, and even a kitchen. The staff was incredibly friendly and always very helpful. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I definitely recommend visiting this part of the Himalayas and staying at Upadhyay Cottages. I can't wait to return and will be renting a room again from Upadhyay Cottages!
