I'm in awe of this place. It's a kind of place where you surely want to come back over and over again. Nomit and Joginder ji are the best example of modesty and warm hospitality. The food is like cherry on top. The place calms you in so ***y ways. ❣️

Arriving at Laida Zostel felt like coming home to a warm meal and a gentle embrace from the mountains. The father and son duo that run this home do so with such grace and humility, it’s hard to ignore how these qualities radiate through the hand-cooked meals, concern for comfort in the rooms and overall endeavour to accommodate guests to their absolute best ability. Our strict dietary requirements were perfectly catered for, we loved the tasteful design of the home and had great fun trekking around the area for both incredible views and friendly conversation with people in the community. Getting to the home requires a short but uneven trek, so I would recommend arriving during the daytime and keeping luggage to a minimum. Overall, Laida was one of the least gentrified places I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting (which obviously correlates with the category of most peaceful places I’ve ever visited) and my only regret is not spending more time here!

Laida a small hamlet at the foothill of Himalayas. it looked serene, beautiful, mesmerizing during rains. We had one of the most amazing experiences....great hospitality offered by the entire family and staff. The rooms are spacious, neat and made in style. It also had a common room to play, unwind, sketch or just sit in the tranquil.. it drew me towards my passion for art too. We were welcomed by Mrs. Thakur, Mr. Thakur's home made local delicacies & we truly enjoyed listening to a rendition by Nomit Thakur - Khamosh! "The mountains are calling, and I must go." – John Muir....so we shall definitely love to be there soon!

If you are looking to spend time away from the crowds, be one with nature and the mountains, and receive impeccable service, including home cooked delicious food, Zostel Homes Laida is the place for you! Nestled in the forested hilltop, Laida is a small, pristine village in the Kullu district, and Zostel offers a perfect way to experience the place. You can go on a few small treks around, or just walk up and down the hills. Overall great experience! Highly recommended! PS: You can't drive directly to the Zostel. It's a short 5 minutes trek from the parking.

Zostel X Laida is the best place I have been I loved and enjoyed the time spent on this amazing property. The most important thing the a**osphere you get at this place it feels like family Nomit and his Dad they amazing he is gem of a person they Hosted us like family we loved them and the food was omg just amazing, the rooms , common area to chill and every thing in this property is special and the village is so beautiful and peaceful we just fell in love with it . I MUST SAY AN AMZING PLACE TO STAY with its beauty and peaceful a**osphere its adds up more when you have an amazingly humble and loveable people to host lots and lots of amazing memories from this place I loved it and will be back soon .

This is one of the best destinations I've been to. Zostel X Laida is an amazing property with all the comfort. Everything is so perfect. Best hosts, best food, amazing views and freshly grown produce around the place. Highly recommended.

Zostel Homes Laida is one of the best homestay experiences not only in India but in the world - speaking an avid traveller who has spent time in over 20 countries from East to West over the course of 15+ years. Between the nature and scenery and the authentic Himachal cuisine prepared next to your quaint, mountain cabin, kudos to the owner Nomit, his father and the crew for nurturing this unique wonder. For North American and Western European backpackers, ramblers, hikers, mountaineers, etc. do not miss out on this beautiful blend of adventure and comfort in the Thirtan Valley. Visit this special little village located between Shimla and ***ali as a gentle introduction to the Western Himalayas. Zostel Homes Laida is as close to perfect when it comes to balancing the Indian culture, the Himachal Pradesh subculture, the quiet and remote village life, the breathtaking landscape, the local food, and the relaxing a**osphere. Tucked away in the breathtakingly beautiful village of Laida, this hidden gem truly offers a remarkable experience that combines comfort, warmth, and an authentic local touch. The warmth of the hosts just makes it better and make you feel truly welcomed. Although we had to rush our stay, it’s safe to say I’ll definitely be visiting again. The highlight of my stay, however, wasn’t just the breathtaking view of the lush green valleys from the property but was the couple who runs it - you know how you interact with some people and just realise they must have a lot of stories to tell? Exactly that. can't wait to return and create more memories xx

A treasury of little pleasures like waking up to the chirping of birds, ZostelX Laida invites you to explore the beauty that lies in countryside stillness. It is a traditional anti-earthquake house made up entirely of logs and mud and makes for a great place for artists to work, ponder, and inspire.

- Nature and surroundings should always be respected and taken care of.
- All the food served will be home-cooked.
- Drinking and smoking are prohibited inside the property. Guests are requested to resort to the open areas for the same.
- Leather shoes are not allowed inside the attic due to religious reasons.
- The property is not pet-friendly.
