I stayed there after work. About 30 minutes by car from Kumano city. I was on the way admiring the autumn leaves🍁. I was satisfied with the food, which was delicious and had a reasonable amount. I was able to take a relaxing bath in the hot spring ♨️.
It was a collaboration between 🍁 and cherry blossoms 🌸 at the entrance of the inn.

I came to stay on the opening day of sweetfish fishing. The fresh river breeze from the Japanese-Western style room facing the wide Kitayama River was pleasant. The sweetfish I caught were grilled and enjoyed for dinner. The open-air hot spring also had the Kitayama River right in front of it, and although there were bugs floating in the water, it felt good.

The room is average and tidy. The equipment is small, there is no bottled water, and there is no lotion. The hot spring water quality is pretty good, but the equipment is also rudimentary. Jue Xiaoxu is over price.

This ryokan onsen hotel feels new and clean overall; even without a shower tub in the room, I did not mind going to its nice public onsen for bathing. Dinner and Breakfast are both excellent. I used this hotel as a base to visit the incomparable Maruyama Senmaida and Doro-kyo Gorge / Kitayama, using a rented bike from Kumano Itaya Kurobe no sato, Michino-no-eki in Kiwacho Itaya. Hotel staff and Customer Service at this hotel are also the best, as evidenced by the free hotel shuttle back to Kumano or Shingu. Without question, this is the best hotel out of the 18 I stayed at during my 5 week trip to Japan this Spring.
