"A couple in their 70s stayed at the Seiryu to celebrate a birthday. They were guided to the restaurant "Kokuu" for dinner, and ate while looking at the garden. The atmosphere was good and we were excited, but the banquet meal was served starting with the appetizer, so we ordered a beer first. We finished our drink before the next meal was served, so we called out to the waiter to order a drink, but there was no response. We got up from our seats and went to the entrance where the waiter was to order a drink. When the next meal was served, we asked the waiter if there was a "call bell" and he said there wasn't. We also ordered a drink while waiting for the next meal and called out to the waiter, but there was no response, so we got up from our seats again and went to call the waiter. Then the waiter was playing with another customer's child. This action (going to call the waiter) was repeated three times after that. There must have been several other groups of customers.
