Coconut Lagoon Kumarakom- a CGH Earth Experience

A serene retreat with the kumarakom Lake area. The resort has very attentive staff and there's quite a bit to do and explore within the resort. The bungalows are really authentic to the traditional Keralite style. They come with an open to sky bathroom that makes the showering experience amazingly refreshing! Definitely would recommend!!

It’s a lovely heritage property on the edge of a beautiful lake. First impression ruins a holiday and this was the case here the customer was told they lied, that we arrived two hours after we actually did. None accepted the fact that a fault was made, turned it to our mistake for not booking direct or accepting a ‘better’ room. The GM was aggressive redacted offers made on first evening, relished making two senior women feel devalued and insulted. The owner has not replied to our email. We booked transfers through hotel, got to dock waited, left, after sometime we turned back? - waited again the new people joined us, we finally arrived much later than expected. On the last morning we were informed we had not booked a return transfer. UNBELIEVABLE petty much! We were offered an upgrade - I would have A. Broken an ankle or some other injury going down spiral stairs to the bathroom during the night. B. Slept on the sofa downstairs C. A room that THEY had said would be unsuitable for our chronic health conditions We managed to get some food and drink much later and FiNALLY got the correct room at 9pm. The room was nice lots of quirky Knick knacks kettle fridge safe comfortable bed and a jungle shower. The pool is large mainly empty, so good swimming the property is full of families honeymooners and foreigners. It has a limited range of activities. The restaurant staff are kind and attentive there is variety of food but they know little of allergies and do not cater well for them. On the third day I got ragi gluten free pancakes . Taj hotels are much better in that respect. While they have wheel chairs etc accessibility may be limited. It has been my worst experience ever a beautiful property with sexist mysoginistic heart

Amazing stay with most hospitable staff who ensured and took care of our every need, the view is mesmerising, the room is clean and comfortable, the best part is there is so much to do within the resort, that they have ensured you remain occupied the entire day

Wonderful stay, lake view and paddy fields added more beauty to the place. Kind and polite staffs always provided best service for a comfortable stay. Activities like sunset cruise, pottery making, visit to butterfly garden and bird watching provided a unique experience.

It was short but memorable trip. Day one we did high tea and boat trip. We clicked many in the beautiful environment. We enjoyed Dance and music at dinner time . Room was neat and comfortable. Next day morning at 7 we went for bird watch. Mr. Vishu explained each bird well. We also had an experience on clay craft. Their butterfly garden and herb garden also worth seeing. In total we had a wonderful time at Coconut Lagoon. Kumarakam. Kerala.

Beautiful resort, very well maintained and peaceful. Excellent food. The staff are super nice and friendly, well exceeding expectations for a top notch resort. Their massages are a bit expensive, but amazing! We are looking forward to our next visit.

A memorable family getaway at cgh coconut lagoon our family of seven, including my aged parents, had an unforgettable stay at cgh coconut lagoon in august 2024. From the moment we arrived, the experience was nothing short of magical. Arrival and check-in: the check-in process was a unique and delightful experience. We were taken on a serene boat ride directly to the welcome area near the reception. There, we were greeted with traditional tika and refreshing tender coconut, setting the tone for a relaxing stay. Accommodation: we stayed in three heritage villas, which were beautifully maintained and offered stunning views. The villas were spacious, comfortable, and provided a perfect blend of traditional charm and modern amenities. Activities and entertainment: the resort offers a plethora of activities throughout the day, ensuring that we were always engaged and entertained. We never felt the need to venture outside the resort. Each evening, we enjoyed different cultural events, which were both entertaining and educational. Dining: the food at coconut lagoon was exceptional. The buffets had a wide variety of dishes, catering to all tastes. Every meal was a culinary delight, and the quality and freshness of the ingredients were evident. Service: the highlight of our stay was the impeccable service. Throughout our two-day stay, we felt pampered by every staff member we encountered. Their warmth, attentiveness, and dedication to ensuring our comfort made our stay truly special. In summary, our stay at cgh coconut lagoon was a perfect blend of relaxation, cultural immersion, and luxury. We left with cherished memories and a strong desire to return. Staying for second time. Not upto the previous experience. Property not well maintained. Food was good. Service was horrible.
