Well, it’s a nice enough hotel inside a fabricated former Wanda extended ***** mall. It’s not really close to anything —6-km to Xishan, Dian Lake, 9-10 km to city center. It’s main attraction appears to be an indoor skiing facility, which for anyone that actually skied before, is a 200-ft green circle that they classify as an “expert” run. They had some comic book/anime event going on so tons of people showed up for the weekend dressed up. Beyond the large ***** mall and running/bike track, I’m not sure if it has much more to offer. Personally, I’d advise anyone coming to Kunming to stay either in the city center or go prime spot Dian Lake. This entire concept has a half baked, 3/4 completed feel to it. The hotel is dead & while the place looks modern, it is cheaply built, the gym was unattended (not even sure if it was actually open), and pool hasn’t been open since the Omicron pandemic began in earnest in China. They told me this is a place that Wanda wanted to build up but after running into financial difficulties, it basically got abandoned all but for this area & I suppose they’re trying to monetize it as best they can.

I enjoyed every moment of staying at Wanda Realm Resort. Upon arrival, the hotel graciously upgraded our room to a premium suite. The staffs were friendly and helpful. The hotel had good surrounding stores and restaurants which is convenient especially as the location of the hotel was a bit far from other things. The balcony was also a bit dirty too. Still, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kunming as it's a very beautiful place.

I would absolutely not stay here again. The hotel room was very good, clean and modern. The first problem though is that the breakfast buffet was basically nothing but empty dishes that they didn’t replace unless you go super early! We tried to eat at 9, the buffet finishes at 10, but by this time very little food was left. The second problem is that construction is being done to the road that the hotel entrance is on. You have to take what is essentially a golf cart to and from through the tourist area which takes about 10 minutes. Sometimes we had to wait over 20 minutes for a cart to come and a few times on route had to wait on the side of the path for 15 minutes because of street performances. Overall we found this to be very inconvenient and take up a lot of time.

The hotel is very beautiful and convenient in the scenic area. The front desk manager Ding Ding is enthusiastic and has a good service attitude👍. The shuttle bus driver has a good attitude and the service is thoughtful and convenient. In short, I like it very much🤩

The overall environment is OK. The service of the hotel staff is very good. The breakfast is rich, the service staff is enthusiastic, and the room service is thoughtful. The location is relatively remote because this place has just been developed. After saying good things, I will say it again. I can tolerate the hotel not having air conditioning, but according to this hotel standard, it is absolutely not right. I don’t know if it’s because we are Huazhu Club Platinum. The mini bar has never been replenished actively during the three-day stay. My baby likes swimming, and I always book a hotel with a swimming pool when I travel. I was really speechless that the hotel swimming pool could not be used for three consecutive days. Every time I changed into a swimsuit and arrived at the swimming pool, I was told that it could not be used and I had to wait for a few hours. I have a low education and don’t know how long a few hours is, but it is the same as not being able to use it. So I can only say that this is a standard hotel. Those who can’t leave the air conditioning and like to swim every day can avoid the pit.

The room is comfortable and clean. The waiter's attitude was very good. After going out, I called the waiter to help us take our luggage downstairs for storage. It was awesome! The balcony is opposite to Xishan, which is very beautiful!

I had a lot of fun, the service was great, and the environment was great. I have been here many times. This is the best location for bringing children!

The room is very big and has a balcony. It is very comfortable to stand on the balcony and enjoy the natural breeze. There is a small garden inside. You can go in for a walk after dinner. It is very pleasant. The breakfast is very rich.

I booked this hotel on a business trip. The front desk upgraded the suite to a balcony. The hotel staff were very friendly and gave me flower cakes when I left.

The hotel is right next to Sunac Sea World, less than 100 meters away. The hotel service is very good, especially the hotel staff's attitude is very thoughtful, thinking about what I want, very suitable for parent-child living, as soon as you step into the hotel lobby, you can feel the warm and elegant atmosphere. The lobby is beautifully decorated, and the quality is reflected in the details. During the check-in process, the front desk staff showed extremely high professionalism and service spirit. They always smile, polite and thoughtful, which makes me feel very comfortable and warm. Here, I spent a warm and comfortable holiday, very satisfied
