"I had a great time at this hotel. Staff are very friendly. There’s a play area that my kids can play at near the breakfast area at the lobby. They even provided my kids with kids slippers and tooth brushes. The hotel is strategically located at Nanping Street near to many tourist spots. Nancheng Mosque is about 11mins away by foot and there is a halal restaurant there. There’s also a washer and dryer that guests can use at the hotel. All in all, I have no complaints. Would recommend the hotel to families."

"Excellent hotel! We stayed here for one night during our honeymoon, and it was just perfevt. The staff were extremely friendly and kind, giving us a nice welcome and even flowers for our honeymoon. We had rented one room with an outside courtyard, and they even gave us the option to check other rooms to see which was our favorite. Our room had a Southeast Asian style courtyard with a wonderful soaking tub. Truly a 10/10 stay all around. The hotel is also excellently located for exploring the center of Kunming, with great shopping and food within short walking distance. Highly recommend!"

The courtyard terrace is very comfortable. The host is warm and welcoming. A top choice for your vacation, I'll definitely come back!"

The environment of the homestay is quiet and comfortable, the decoration is simple and textured, and the details can feel the store's intentions. The room was cleaned very clean, the bedding was comfortable, the hot water was stable, the sound insulation was good, and the night was very stable. The landlord’s service is attentive and thoughtful, sending routes and check-in tips in advance, and also giving practical suggestions for playing and eating. The communication is smooth and does not deliberately disturb. The public areas are very beautifully maintained, and it is especially pleasant to sit down and rest in your leisure time. The location is moderate and it is convenient to travel for food. Whether it is a friend or a short vacation, it is suitable. Amway has given it to friends. I will give priority to staying next time. It really feels like going home, relaxing, cozy!"

"We stayed at Kunming PAPMAN Hotel Wanda for our first night in Kunming, and honestly, it was by far the best hotel of our entire stay. We only stayed for one night and didn’t have a chance to explore the surrounding area, but the hotel itself was exceptional. The hotel occupies two floors within a larger building, so there isn’t direct access to the hotel lobby from the ground floor. However, the hotel contacted us in advance with clear instructions on where to meet them at the car park. The staff came down to meet us, helped with all our luggage and brought us up to the lobby. This could have been an inconvenience, but the level of service completely made up for it. The staff were incredibly attentive, warm and genuinely went above and beyond from the moment we arrived. The hotel itself is beautifully designed. Every corner was thoughtfully decorated and incredibly photogenic, and the overall aesthetic was stylish without compromising on comfort. Even our room was beautifully designed, comfortable and very well equipped, with lots of thoughtful amenities included. The views from the hotel were also lovely. Unfortunately, it was raining during our stay, so we didn’t get to properly enjoy or photograph the rooftop pool, which was a little disappointing — but it gives us another reason to come back! One of our favourite additions was the photoshoot. The hotel was incredibly accommodating and allowed us to arrange a much earlier photoshoot slot because we were short on time. The experience was so good that we ended up purchasing additional photos beyond the three included with our room. It was such a fun and memorable experience. Our room rate also included afternoon tea, although we arrived at night and unfortunately didn’t have the opportunity to try it. However, supper was included and was honestly one of the highlights. It was a combination of semi-buffet and made-to-order dishes, with a surprisingly good variety. Everything we tried was delicious, and there was more than enough food. It was such a nice and unexpected inclusion, especially after travelling all day. We were also celebrating our child’s birthday during our stay, and the hotel had thoughtfully prepared a birthday cake and a little present for him in advance. It was such a sweet and thoughtful touch, and really made us feel welcomed and looked after❤️ Overall, we were genuinely impressed by this hotel. From the beautiful design and comfortable rooms to the incredible service, thoughtful inclusions, photoshoot and birthday surprise, everything felt very well thought out. The service in particular really stood out — the staff were attentive, friendly and incredibly helpful throughout our short stay. We only stayed one night and didn’t leave the hotel during our stay, so unfortunately we can’t comment much on the surrounding area or its convenience for exploring Kunming. But based purely on our experience at the hotel, we would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it."

"I was on a business trip in Yunnan and had a layover at Kunming Changshui Airport when I stumbled upon the City Mark Hotel, which turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Its proximity to the airport is fantastic – less than six kilometers away. We only found out upon arrival that the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service. After a quick call, a car was there to pick us up within ten minutes, which was incredibly convenient. The hotel service is excellent, with complimentary tea, drinks, and even ice cream available in the lobby. The staff were warm and attentive, and they even upgraded our room when we checked in. The room itself was spacious, spotless, and equipped with smart amenities. The surrounding area also has plenty of conveniences, from authentic Yunnan restaurants to souvenir shops. Overall, it’s great value for money! I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I fly through Kunming."

"This is an older hotel, but its location is absolutely fantastic! As soon as you step out of the lobby, you can see the beautiful lotus flowers in Cuihu Lake. When I checked in, a staff member brought a set of toiletries and small slippers for my child. I booked the cheapest twin room, and I didn't expect any special perks, but when I entered the room, I found fruit and snacks prepared by the hotel. In the evening, a staff member came to deliver goji berry and tremella soup along with three kinds of fruit. So thoughtful! The room's soundproofing was excellent, making for a very quiet night's sleep."
