The hotel's location couldn't be better; it's super convenient to get anywhere, and taxis are quick to arrive. The bookstore is also beautiful, clearly not just for show but filled with many captivating books 📚. My only regret was not trying the beef pancakes downstairs. The only thing I'd complain about is how light and easily moved the mattress was; otherwise, it's a perfect score! 💯"

"This hotel is only about a 15-minute drive from the airport, and they offer free pick-up and drop-off service. The front desk even proactively upgraded my room type, which was a thoughtful and detailed touch. The room was spotless with no strange odors at all. It had smart home features throughout and even came with a projector. The best part was that the projector already had a premium membership, which was incredibly considerate – you could watch any show you wanted! Plus, the surrounding scenery is really nice, and it was lovely to take a walk in the evening. There are plenty of snack stalls about 400 meters away, making it super convenient for food and drinks. It's definitely my top choice for a layover or short stay. For early morning flights, the front desk also calls to give you a heads-up, which is another fantastic detail!"

I could clearly hear people talking outside until two in the morning (I was staying on the side facing the parking lot). When staying at a hotel, all I ask for is a good night's sleep, and both the cleanliness and soundproofing were lacking."

The room was clean and tidy, with no unpleasant odors, and the bedding was comfortable, so I slept soundly. The host was very honest and responsive, even reminding me about the large temperature difference between day and night in Kunming and giving me some local dining suggestions. There were no sales pitches or hard selling. Overall, it was a warm and comfortable stay, like being at a friend's house. The price was good, and I would definitely consider staying here again next time I'm in Kunming."

"We were a group of 15 people, four families with kids, staying together. Overall, it was quite convenient! Besides traffic, it was easy for the children to go out and explore the area, with plenty of places to eat and shop. The facilities, including the bathrooms, were fine, and the bedding was comfortable for a good night's sleep. The only real issue was the slow service; we were told it was fully booked, and we had to wait two hours for our luggage, which definitely needs improvement, though it wasn't a major problem. I also have a suggestion: since they contact guests in advance, and families with children often book multiple rooms, why not assign them to the same floor beforehand? We had to spend over half an hour at check-in discussing this to get rooms on the same floor. How much efficiency was lost? It was frustrating. P.S. I've attached some photos of good food spots nearby."

"Staying at Junle (Joyland) in Kunming was a real gem! Cuihu Park is right outside, and it's just a 10-minute walk to the Yunnan Military Academy, Yunnan University, and Wenlin Street. You can even see the shimmering waters of Cuihu Lake from the window. The oversized bay window in the room is a highlight. While it's an older five-star hotel, it's well-maintained. The breakfast offers a great variety, and the Yunnan rice noodles are a must-try. The location is definitely a major advantage! If you're traveling with elders or just don't want any hassle, this is absolutely the right place to stay."

"I found this hotel on Ctrip at the last minute, and I got lucky! The hotel is very new and clean. The linens and disposable toiletries are of good quality. They offer free airport and subway transfers, which is very convenient. The staff and drivers are all very friendly. The only minor downsides are that there's no coffee machine at breakfast, and the breakfast selection isn't very wide and is the same every day. However, it's still filling, and compared to other budget hotels, it's quite good. Definitely recommended!"

The room was very clean, and the bedding was the white color I prefer, giving it a high-class feel, and it was super comfortable to lie on. The price was quite reasonable too, making it a hotel with excellent value for money. Highly recommend! Highly recommend!"

"I was on a business trip in Yunnan and had a layover at Kunming Changshui Airport when I stumbled upon the City Mark Hotel, which turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Its proximity to the airport is fantastic – less than six kilometers away. We only found out upon arrival that the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service. After a quick call, a car was there to pick us up within ten minutes, which was incredibly convenient. The hotel service is excellent, with complimentary tea, drinks, and even ice cream available in the lobby. The staff were warm and attentive, and they even upgraded our room when we checked in. The room itself was spacious, spotless, and equipped with smart amenities. The surrounding area also has plenty of conveniences, from authentic Yunnan restaurants to souvenir shops. Overall, it’s great value for money! I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I fly through Kunming."
