This hostel completely changed my perception of hostels! The location is absolutely fantastic, right next to a shopping district and subway station, saving so much time for exploring and dining. The rooms are cleaned daily, and the bed linen is always fresh. The bathrooms are dry and odorless. Each bunk has a blackout curtain, an individual power socket, and a small storage locker, so you can draw the curtain and have your own private space for undisturbed rest. The common lounge has a warm atmosphere, where travelers from all over share stories, making it easy to find companions for outings. The owner is attentive and reliable; I was able to check in smoothly even arriving late at night, and they patiently answered all my travel questions. The price is great, the facilities are complete, and the value for money far surpasses other accommodations nearby. It's my top choice for solo travelers, highly recommended!

After a long search for hotels in Kunming, I decided on Cloud Inn, and I'm so glad I did! First off, the location is fantastic. Turn right out of the hotel and walk about 200m to the 'Paper Building' in Kunming's old town. Turn left, follow the glass walkway, and you'll reach Cuihu Park. Now, about the room – it was very spacious and spotlessly clean. There wasn't even a single water stain on the sink faucet. We were even lucky enough to get a free upgrade to their largest family room, which had a 2-meter bed and a 1.5-meter bed. My child absolutely loved the 8th-floor terrace, which was filled with succulents and had a glass platform – perfect for photos on a sunny day. We stayed for three nights, and the room was cleaned daily with all amenities and drinking water replenished. The young ladies at the front desk were incredibly helpful; they always greeted us with a smile. The lobby on the first floor offers complimentary coffee, tea, fruit tea, and even ice cream. My child happily got ice cream every day! All in all, I highly recommend staying here. Plus, there are two great rice noodle shops at the intersection downstairs – one open in the mornings and the other until evening.

There was a strange smell when I first walked in, but maybe after staying there for a while, I got used to it and couldn't smell it anymore. There's a mirror, but the light seemed to be broken or something, it was too dim to do my makeup. The location is pretty good, not too out of the way. The service was nice. It takes about 20 minutes to get to Kunming Station.

The surrounding area is quiet and comfortable, and the overall ambiance is perfect. The front desk service was incredibly attentive; they responded to and resolved all our needs immediately, and their attitude was super friendly. They even thoughtfully upgraded us to a spacious and comfortable family room for free, which really enhanced our experience. The value for money is exceptional, and we'll definitely choose this hotel again for our next trip!

Ending my trip to Kunming, the one place I'm most excited to share is this amazing stay. The location is absolutely superb, and the experience was truly exceptional. The geographical position is fantastic; it's so convenient whether you want to visit Cuihu Park or the old town. It's a three-story standalone building with a great design, a very trendy industrial-chic vibe, and the courtyard is full of lush greenery, making it quiet and elegant. Every photo I took in the room looked incredible! You can relax with a bath or enjoy a movie in the evening. I really appreciate the dry/wet separation in the bathroom, and the bedding was super clean and comfortable—I slept soundly until morning. The staff were genuinely wonderful and attentive, offering a butler-style service. They'd confirm breakfast times in advance, and you could choose between rice noodles or Western-style simple meals. If you didn't feel like going downstairs, they'd even deliver it to your room. In the evening, if you wanted to unwind, you could order some drinks and BBQ. My trip to Kunming was truly chill!

Nearby, there were supermarkets and restaurants, making it very convenient for getting around. Overall, it offered incredible value for money. It was a very comfortable stay and definitely worth coming back to.

The host was welcoming and easy to get to, providing smooth check-in and check-out communication, sending travel tips in advance, and responding quickly to any questions. The location was excellent, close to restaurants and entertainment venues, and with convenient transportation. Overall, it offered excellent value for money, making it a perfect choice for couples. The experience far exceeded expectations, and I would definitely stay here again next time. Highly recommended!

Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to find our room upgraded to a family room since we had a child with us. It was lovely, and both my child and I adored it! The laundry service was exceptional; they washed, folded, and returned our clothes to the room promptly. When my child accidentally spilled water, an attendant immediately came to clean it up. Breakfast was also incredibly delicious. This hotel is truly thoughtful! The evening front desk staff and Delu (presumably a staff member or service) introduced us to their late-night congee service, which was both comforting and heartwarming. The air conditioning was powerful, the elevators were fast, the scent was pleasant, laundry and drying facilities were convenient, the TV was high-definition, and parking was super easy. We had a comfortable and worry-free stay!

On June 6, 2026, my birthday, I was tidying up in my room at noon when a hotel staff member delivered a birthday cake 🎂. It was such a warm gesture 🥰 and made my whole day even happier. The next day, because I was in a hurry to catch my high-speed train, I hadn't finished tidying up the balloons in my room, but the cleaning lady said it was fine, showing excellent service. When I checked out, I was rushing and forgot my room card, but the front desk service was amazing too! They said it was no problem and even offered me two bottles of mineral water, asking if I wanted to take them with me. The experience was absolutely superb (and the front desk even helped me with a package)! I felt incredibly happy!!! Highly recommend!!!
