The overall experience at Jiangye Hotel was excellent. The room was clean and well-lit, and the bedding was soft, ensuring a good night's sleep. The breakfast spread was fantastic, with a wide variety of options including hot congee, noodles, small dishes, and fresh fruit. The ingredients were fresh, and everything tasted homemade. The service was thoughtful and attentive, and the location was convenient for getting around. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip.

We chose a two-bedroom suite with our family here. The hotel facilities are quite old overall, and we stayed for three or four days. It's an older hotel, and while you can still see its past glory and the essence of its design, the overall color scheme and facilities now feel dated. However, the front desk and butler service were excellent, almost always accommodating our requests. Overall, we were satisfied. The downstairs pool, kids' play area, and even the evening entertainment were all pretty good. The outdoor hot spring was our favorite part, but unfortunately, it rained, so we only got to go once.

Facilities: All the basics are covered – air conditioning, TV, smart toilet. They even have a garment steamer available to borrow. Environment: Located in a villa area right by Dianchi Lake, the surroundings are very comfortable, and there's no formaldehyde smell. 24-hour attentive butler service: The owner is incredibly kind. Before we left in the morning, they invited us to have tea and dessert. On a rainy day, they even lent us umbrellas for free. In the evening, they helped us hang our laundry, and they wouldn't rest until the last guest returned. They truly treated us like family. Electric scooter ride to view Dianchi Haigang Dam (free rental): They lent us two electric scooters and sun hats for free. We were so comfortable staying in Kunming that I forgot to take photos of the room! This is definitely a hidden gem of a guesthouse that I'll recommend to my friends when I get back!

The room was quite spacious, clean, and tidy, and the bedding was comfortable. The entire room is controlled by Tmall Genie for convenience and speed. The hotel lobby is high-end and stylish, with a strong sense of design. The breakfast spread in the restaurant was very rich, especially the rice noodles which were delicious. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay.

The new Chinese-style courtyard is surrounded by lush greenery, exuding a strong Zen ambiance, with photo opportunities everywhere. The room cleanliness was impeccable; every corner was spotless. The smart home system was convenient and easy to use. The zero-pressure bedding combined with soothing aromatherapy and excellent soundproofing ensured a peaceful and restful sleep every night. The most delightful surprise was the exclusive wellness programs. The complimentary singing bowl meditation was incredibly soothing, with the ethereal sounds melting away all travel anxieties. The morning garden yoga also left me feeling relaxed and stretched. My reservation included free afternoon tea, featuring Dian-style tea paired with delicate pastries – sitting in the courtyard enjoying tea was incredibly pleasant. The front desk staff were gentle and patient, handling check-in efficiently and proactively sharing recommendations for local attractions. They were quick to respond to any request, and their service was perfectly balanced. The hotel amenities are comprehensive, including a heated swimming pool and a self-service laundry room. The breakfast spread was extensive, catering to both northern and southern tastes. For the same price point, the ambiance, service, and unique experiences were all top-notch, providing a truly healing stay. These few days allowed me to completely shed my fatigue. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Kunming and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating vacation.

The location is superb; right across the street is Haigeng Dam, offering absolutely stunning views. It's also very close to major popular scenic spots, and transportation is convenient, making getting around completely hassle-free. The room rates are affordable and budget-friendly, offering fantastic value for money overall. The thoughtful and attentive service throughout made us feel incredibly welcome, truly like a home away from home. This hotel is absolutely outrageous! My friends and I stayed for three days, and each day brought a new and different problem. Day one upon check-in: ◆ The air conditioning in the room was broken. I don't even need to tell you how hot the Yunnan sun gets. Even with the AC on and curtains drawn, it felt like a steam room in the afternoon. By night, with the outdoor temperature at 24°C, it was still 26°C inside. ◆ We ordered room service, and the bowls they brought were dirty and unwashed. ◆ They advertised a gym, but half of the exercise equipment was broken. Day two: We came to this resort to relax, but housekeeping started knocking on our door at around 11 AM. And it wasn't just a quick knock; they kept pounding on the door relentlessly for several minutes until they literally woke us up! Day three: ◆ We requested two bottles of water from housekeeping. We called once, then again, but by the time we checked out, the water never arrived. ◆ For a room where a woman was staying alone, a male friend went to the front desk, and without any verification or confirmation with the guest in the room, they just made him a room key??! Compared to all that, the arrogant attitude of the staff wasn't even the main issue anymore.

Location: Situated within the Sunac Houhai scenic area, it's very close to Qikong Bridge and offers a lovely green 'grass sea' walking path, which is very convenient. It's about four kilometers from Daguan Park. This location keeps you away from the tacky and overpriced old streets. Nearby, there's a delicious Yunnan Daoguo Bridge Rice Noodles restaurant where the sour fruit and red soup noodles are excellent. There's also a great handmade bakery with fantastic cakes and some coffee shops with really creative flavors. The night view is also beautiful, with many lanterns. Service: The front desk staff were absolutely amazing, a big thumbs up! The tea cakes served with afternoon tea were also very tasty. Breakfast: Made fresh for each table. I stayed for two nights and there were different menu options to choose from. On the second day, my room was upgraded to an English-style river view king room, and the view was fantastic.

Facilities: We booked a family room. We expected a 1.8-meter bed and a 1.3-meter bed, but we ended up with two 1.8-meter beds, which delighted my daughter. The room was spacious, with a long table. It was divided into two areas: the inner and outer areas, with the bathroom at the inner end separated by two curtains. This provided privacy while still allowing us to share a large space. Cleanliness: The room was exceptionally clean. The bedding was brand new, spotlessly white, and spotless. Although Kunming is known for its rainy weather, the weather was pleasantly cool and not humid during our stay. The climate was a pleasant surprise for our family. Environment: The B&B is located in a villa complex, a few minutes' walk from the Dianchi Haigeng bus stop. My family and I found the area quite comfortable. The complex is quiet, with several B&Bs nearby, some occupied and some seemingly unoccupied. Overall, it felt peaceful and safe. The B&B is a small, independent villa with succulents planted downstairs. The environment is small and charming, but not overly large. Service: The service is very good. It is run by a family. The girl will deliver breakfast to the room around 8 o'clock in the morning. The breakfast is a small steamed bun, a small dumpling, a box of purple rice porridge and a tea egg for each person. I can eat it full, but if you don’t like it, you can choose to walk out of the community and walk a few hundred meters towards the dam. There are many local delicacies, rice noodles, mushroom soup, etc. I have eaten at several of them and they all taste very good.

The environment is fantastic and new, the service is impeccable, and all the facilities are top-notch. The amenities provided are high-quality, the mini-bar is well-stocked and complimentary, and the location is super convenient for getting around. I'll definitely be back!
