The hotel is in a great location, close to Metro Line 1, just across the overpass, and two stops away from Dounan Flower Market. There is also the largest clothing wholesale market nearby. The waiters are also very nice, and they even have robots delivering things, which is very convenient.
After 10 days of traveling in Yunnan and staying at 5 different hotels, this one had, without a doubt, the worst service. I booked three rooms, and in one of them, the TV didn't even have internet access, so we couldn't watch the Spring Festival Gala. Breakfast was until 10 AM, but when I went down at 9:20 AM, many items were already gone. When I asked for more milk, the staff member literally picked up the milk dispenser to pour out the last drops for me. I mentioned my concerns to the front desk. The next day, I went at the same time, and again, the fried rice and rice noodles were both gone, along with many other things. There were still 40 minutes left for breakfast, and they should be able to estimate guest numbers. Later, my room card was locked inside, and when I asked the front desk to bring a new one up, they didn't come. I went down myself and found the front desk staff sitting on the sofa playing on their phone. It's truly hard to put into words how bad the experience was.
The experience of staying in this hotel is very good, the location is very convenient, and the surrounding restaurants are super available. The rooms are clean and tidy, well ventilated and lighted, the overall layout is warm and comfortable, the bedding is soft and skin-friendly, and the hot water for washing is stable and sufficient. The staff service is gentle and polite, check-in and check-out are fast and efficient, and the details are very intimate. The environment is quiet and livable, the facilities are well maintained, the price is very high, the whole stay is comfortable and worry-free, it is worth recommending to everyone.
The room was very clean, and the front desk staff were warm and attentive. They recommended many fun places nearby. The hotel is very close to the Yunnan Provincial Museum, only about two to three kilometers away. Guandu Ancient Town is also right next door. There's also a large wholesale market nearby, which is great for shopping. It's also very close to Dounan Flower Market. I visited all these attractions, and they were excellent. I highly recommend staying here. Getting around is also very convenient, with a subway station right next to the hotel. The hotel's facilities and environment are also great; there's a self-service laundry room on the 6th floor, which is very convenient for drying clothes. On the 1st floor, there's also a free self-service flower tea bar with many varieties to choose from.
A perfect stay, this hotel is a must-choose when visiting Kunming! I came to Kunming for a business trip this time and specifically chose the deluxe king room at e-shen Hotel. My stay truly exceeded expectations!
As soon as I entered the room, I was amazed. The layout was spacious and bright, with light-colored soft furnishings paired with wooden floors, giving it a minimalist yet high-quality feel. The two-seater sofa in the living area was very comfortable. During the day, I could relax in the sun, and in the evening, I could curl up on the sofa to watch shows – it felt just like home. The bed was an even bigger highlight! The mattress was neither too soft nor too hard, and the duvet was fluffy and breathable. Even I, someone who struggles to sleep in new places, had a peaceful night's sleep. The bedding is changed for each guest and felt exceptionally clean; the attention to detail is truly impressive. What surprised me most was the 270° city view floor-to-ceiling window! During the day, with the curtains open, the entire cityscape of Xin' Asia Sports City and Luosiwan was visible, and on a sunny day, it was perfect for photos. In the evening, I could sit by the window and watch the sunset, which truly cured a day's fatigue.
I must also praise the front desk service. Check-in was quick and thoughtful, and they proactively reminded us that the hotel offers special Cross-Bridge Rice Noodles for lunch. They even gave us a small souvenir upon check-out, really perfecting all the little details. Whether for a business trip or a leisure vacation, this e-shen Hotel is an excellent choice in Kunming. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Kunming!
Next to the south bus station and some places to eat late but the location is all it had.
I booked a non-smoker room but the room had such a strong smell of cigarette, even in the bathroom or bedsheets. I asked if I could have a non-smoker room but they told me they only have smoker room. Maybe is it like this in China, or Trip App labelled the wrong way, but that wasn't what I booked.
Carpet and fabric chairs seemed to have cigarette holes all over, giving the impression that is was dirty and runned down.
Nevertheless, bed was confortable and room was quiet.
The room was absolutely amazing! It was my first time staying in a hotel with a Chinese-style design, and it felt very new. The room itself was huge and came with a self-service laundry room. The breakfast selection was extensive, and the cleanliness was top-notch. The front desk staff were also incredibly helpful and friendly. I'll definitely be back if I get the chance!
The check-in experience was excellent. There was fruit upon arrival, and a complimentary gift upon departure. The gift was quite unique, including flower cakes. I wanted an extra, and the front desk kindly gave me one.
Service: Excellent; staff greeted me politely.
Facilities: Good; shower water pressure was good.
Cleanliness: Excellent; they mop the floor.
Environment: Interesting; there were pineapples in the elevator, which I specifically asked about to determine if they were for deodorizing.
Meihao Privileges | Welcome Snacks: Includes Yunnan specialties. I especially liked the soup noodles and rice rolls for breakfast; the mushroom sauce was very flavorful.
We came to Luojiwan to buy goods. The hotel has been open for a few years and we have lived for a few years. The parking is convenient. It is next to the food street. The street is Luojiwan. The room is clean and tidy. The waiter is very good. It is recommended.

Excellent
GGuest UserThe hotel is on the 16th floor of the apartment building, and the other floors are other homestays. There is no front desk, self-service accommodation. You need to scan the QR code on the door to enter the public security system accommodation registration. Scan the code to add the hotel butler, contact online and get a password lock to enter the room. The room should be a one-bedroom apartment, a Chase room. The interior is larger than the average hotel, with washing machines, refrigerators and wardrobes. There are snack bars and supermarkets near the hotel. Opposite the southern bus station.
RRobert Chuan OoiYou’re getting 5 star services for price of a 2star.
Very clean and have most amenities for a pleasant stay.
When I checked in I contact the owner enquiring if a fridge is available as I need to keep my medications cool. She immediately arranged for one and the fridge was delivered to my room within 30 minutes.
On the second day the housekeeper forgot to leave drinking water. When I returned in the night I message the owner and she immediately had some delivered!
Very impressed by the high level of cleanliness and services provided.
Would most definitely stay again next time I’m in this neck of the woods
Thank you for a most pleasant stay.
GGuest UserThe hotel is right next to Luoshiwan and very close to Kunming South Railway Station subway station, about a ten-minute walk. The hotel has an elevator. The room is not big. There is breakfast, but the breakfast variety is too simple. There are noodles and white porridge, eggs, small steamed buns, and no stir-fried dishes. It would be better if the breakfast could be richer.
GGuest UserThe front desk lady is very gentle and considerate. Gentle. If I am a man, I want to marry and go home. The hotel facilities are also very good and very affordable.
GGuest UserThe hotel has free parking and it is very convenient to drive over and park. There is a night market around, and all the food is eaten near the subway station. The location is easy to find, there is a place to rest in the lobby, and you can also store your luggage. The room was well lit and the sanitation was very clean. The price is very affordable, recommend it to everyone
GGuest UserThe surrounding environment of the hotel is beautiful, the room facilities are well-equipped, the room is spacious and bright, and the layout is reasonable. The stay is very comfortable.
