Hotels in New Luosiwan area, Kunming

This hotel is located in a building which has to share elevators with others floors. It makes me feel not safe. Not much things around this hotel to eat or see, you have to take 30 minutes subway to downtown or attractions. Taking about the room, it’s big and new with voice commands. However, the voice commands control the air conditioner which makes me crazy. You have to say the correct words to control it. After I checked in, I have tried many times to operate the air conditioner but it did not work for me. I called the front desk, they send people to control but still didn’t work. After many times trying, he figured out the correct words to say. OMG… if you don’t speak mandarin, don’t stay here. Another big problem is cleaning, see the pictures that I posted, they never clean the floor. I never heard sound of vacuum, the floor still dirty as the first day I checked in. The breakfast is simple but cold, even in the heater. Don’t know why. Overall, it is okay if you don’t mind the problems that I mentioned.

The guesthouse is new, quiet, and has complete surrounding facilities. I will come back to stay here again in the future.

The bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, high-quality fixtures, and the toiletries had a wonderful fragrance. Even the hairdryer was powerful – attention to detail was impeccable. The common areas and dining options were further enhanced. The rooftop garden, a popular spot for afternoon tea, was perfect for chatting and taking photos while enjoying the Kunming evening breeze. The breakfast selection was amazing, with both Chinese and Western options. The freshly cooked Yunnan-style rice noodles had an incredibly delicious broth, and you could add as many toppings as you wanted. Breakfast was served until 11 am, perfect for those who like to sleep in. A gym, self-service laundry, and children's playground were all available, catering to both families with children and business travelers. With its comprehensive facilities, it's a great choice for travelers.

This stay experience exceeded expectations and must be praised. The front desk staff was gentle and welcoming, the check-in speed was very fast, and all questions were answered patiently and meticulously. The rooms are clean and tidy, the bedding is soft and comfortable, the bathroom is dry and wet without smell, the supporting supplies are complete, and the lighting and ventilation are very good. The public area is clean and quiet, the sound insulation effect is online, and the rest is completely undisturbed. The location is convenient, travel and foraging are very convenient. The overall price is super high, the service is intimate and not perfunctory, and the details can see that the store is very attentive. Whether it is a business trip or a trip, it is very suitable. The hotel is very close to the Yunnan Provincial Museum, only about two to three kilometers away. Guandu Ancient Town is also right next door. There's also a large wholesale market nearby, which is great for shopping. It's also very close to Dounan Flower Market. I visited all these attractions, and they were excellent. I highly recommend staying here. Getting around is also very convenient, with a subway station right next to the hotel. The hotel's facilities and environment are also great; there's a self-service laundry room on the 6th floor, which is very convenient for drying clothes. On the 1st floor, there's also a free self-service flower tea bar with many varieties to choose from.

A perfect stay, this hotel is a must-choose when visiting Kunming! I came to Kunming for a business trip this time and specifically chose the deluxe king room at e-shen Hotel. My stay truly exceeded expectations! As soon as I entered the room, I was amazed. The layout was spacious and bright, with light-colored soft furnishings paired with wooden floors, giving it a minimalist yet high-quality feel. The two-seater sofa in the living area was very comfortable. During the day, I could relax in the sun, and in the evening, I could curl up on the sofa to watch shows – it felt just like home. The bed was an even bigger highlight! The mattress was neither too soft nor too hard, and the duvet was fluffy and breathable. Even I, someone who struggles to sleep in new places, had a peaceful night's sleep. The bedding is changed for each guest and felt exceptionally clean; the attention to detail is truly impressive. What surprised me most was the 270° city view floor-to-ceiling window! During the day, with the curtains open, the entire cityscape of Xin' Asia Sports City and Luosiwan was visible, and on a sunny day, it was perfect for photos. In the evening, I could sit by the window and watch the sunset, which truly cured a day's fatigue. I must also praise the front desk service. Check-in was quick and thoughtful, and they proactively reminded us that the hotel offers special Cross-Bridge Rice Noodles for lunch. They even gave us a small souvenir upon check-out, really perfecting all the little details. Whether for a business trip or a leisure vacation, this e-shen Hotel is an excellent choice in Kunming. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Kunming!
