I initially booked this hotel online without much thought, and honestly, the value for money is absolutely incredible. The lobby greeted me with a lovely floral scent, and the front desk staff were professional and efficient, making check-in super fast. They patiently answered all my questions, and when they found out we enjoyed watching sports, they even upgraded us to a deluxe cinema king room. Watching the World Cup on the 120-inch screen was fantastic! The room was spotless, the bathroom had no strange odors or water stains, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. The whole room was well-ventilated and felt fresh. The facilities were well-maintained and looked new; the lighting, hot water, and air conditioning all worked perfectly. The soundproofing was excellent, so I wasn't bothered by any hallway noise. Downstairs, it's right next to Wanda Plaza, and just a bit further is Qicai Yunnan No.1 City, so you can find any kind of food you're craving. Unfortunately, it's been raining a lot in Kunming recently. I went out without an umbrella, got caught in the rain, and started feeling a bit sick. I ordered some medicine and filled in the address provided by the front desk, but after waiting over half an hour, it still hadn't arrived. My phone even showed it as delivered. I called the delivery driver to ask where it was, and it turned out he had delivered it to the wrong building. He refused to come back and redeliver it, and then hung up on me, which made me furious. I asked the front desk for help finding my medicine. When they learned I had a cold, they brought me a cup of hot water for my medicine and thoughtfully brought an umbrella, reminding me that it's rainy season in Kunming and it's better to carry one. Their service truly warmed my heart. I will definitely be strongly recommending this place to my friends here.

Of all the wonderful things about my trip to Kunming – not the Dounan flower market, nor the Dianchi Lake breeze – the most delightful surprise was my stay at the Hyatt Place. From the moment I checked in, Xia An and Xiao Luo at the front desk greeted me with bright smiles and cheerful voices: ”Welcome to Kunming! You must be tired from your journey; we'll get you checked in right away. Please don't hesitate to ask if you need anything!” The room was so comfortable I didn't want to leave. The bed was incredibly soft, and even the evening breeze of Kunming felt gentler. But the breakfast was truly exceptional: freshly cooked rice noodles, soft and chewy flower pastries, and freshly squeezed juices. This breakfast alone was my motivation to wake up every morning. I decided to extend my stay for a few more days, and when I went to the front desk again, they greeted me with familiar smiles: ”Welcome back! Would you like the same room? We'll get it ready for you.” The entire process was efficient and thoughtful. I casually mentioned that ”the pillows in the room are very comfortable,” and to my surprise, when the room was cleaned the next day, they had quietly placed an extra identical pillow for me. On my last day, I specifically handed them a small comic I had drawn earlier – it depicted the two of them smiling at the front desk, with a steaming flower pastry drawn next to them. Their eyes lit up when they received it, exclaiming, ”What a wonderful surprise!” They walked me all the way to the elevator, waving and saying, ”Next time you're in Kunming, remember to look for us!” It turns out the best travel experiences are never just about the scenery; they're about moments like these, where you're genuinely cared for and can reciprocate that kindness.

The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the toiletries were complete. The front desk staff were warm and polite, and check-in and check-out were very fast. The location is very convenient, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. It offers excellent value for money, and I would definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip. The room layout was well-designed, stylishly decorated, spacious, bright, and comfortable. Since I stayed for eight days, I received a complimentary upgrade to a south-facing room. I've previously stayed at Mengjing hotels in Xishuangbanna and downtown Kunming, and I've always been impressed by their focus on service and hygiene. That's why I chose Mengjing again this time. The breakfast was a bit limited, but it was enough to fill me up and tasted good. The cook also kept the area very clean. Although the central air conditioning in each room could be individually adjusted, it wasn't very effective. The front desk staff kindly provided me with an electric heater, which solved my heating issue. The young lady at the front desk was consistently polite and helpful. I'm very grateful for her assistance during my stay. While the hotel aims for good value for money, I hope they can improve the overall comfort. Due to the affordable price, many guests with less desirable etiquette also stay here. There was smoking everywhere, loud conversations in the hallway until 2 or 3 AM, and a general disregard for others. Additionally, the soundproofing isn't as good as an apartment, so I was often woken up in the middle of the night. It seems the hotel is struggling to address this issue.

The environment is comfortable, and the hotel is a standalone building with a park right next to it. Parking is convenient, and public transport and the subway are very close by. The service was extremely satisfying; the hotel uses a butler service for guests, which made us feel right at home. The breakfast was plentiful and served until 11 AM, which was great. The room was clean, and the bedding was comfortable. It's a highly recommendable hotel.

The room was spacious, perfect for our family of three with three suitcases – we didn't feel cramped at all. The air conditioning was excellent, the bed was very comfortable, and the bedding was cozy. The environment was also quite quiet, so we had a great rest. I checked into Atour Hotel yesterday and unfortunately left my electric toothbrush in the room when I checked out today. I only realized it was missing after I had left, which made me quite anxious. To my pleasant surprise and delight, the hotel staff quickly found my lost item during their room check and proactively contacted me to confirm the details. They then thoughtfully arranged for it to be mailed back to me, and I received it in a short amount of time. Throughout this process, the front desk staff demonstrated exceptional professionalism and a strong service mindset. They handled the issue efficiently and attentively, making me truly feel 'at home' with their genuine care and concern. In today's fast-paced society, such meticulous service is truly rare and much appreciated. I would also like to commend the front desk staff on duty that day: Douya, Yunshu, and Xiyu.

For my layover in Kunming, I decisively chose Vienna International Hotel Kunming South Railway Station Municipal Government Branch, and my experience was absolutely perfect. It's definitely the top choice for accommodation around the South Station. The hotel's biggest highlight is its free shuttle service. Just book in advance, and a dedicated vehicle will pick you up. The driver was very kind and helped with my luggage, and it took only about fifteen minutes to get directly to the high-speed rail station. There's no need to rush for early morning or late-night trains. It's also very close to the subway and Dounan Flower Market, making it super convenient for getting around and shopping. The European-style lobby is elegantly decorated, with crystal chandeliers creating a fantastic ambiance. Front desk staff member Xiao Dai (001) was efficient and patient during check-in, and any requests I had were handled very quickly. The guest room was spacious and bright, with impeccable hygiene details; all the corners were wiped clean with no strange odors. The smart voice control for lights and curtains was very convenient. The brand mattress was just the right firmness, and the soundproofing in the room was excellent, ensuring a good night's sleep even after a long day. The bathroom had a dry/wet separation, hot water was stable and plentiful, and the toiletries were of good quality. The self-service breakfast offered a rich variety, and the freshly cooked Yunnan 'small pot rice noodles' are a must-try – very authentic local flavor. There's even free rice noodle supper late at night, which was both warming and comforting. The self-service laundry room, free parking, and EV charging stations are all available, making it suitable for both business and leisure travelers. The value for money far exceeds other hotels in the same price range. Next time I'm in Kunming, I will definitely choose this hotel again. I genuinely recommend it to anyone traveling to or from Kunming South Station.

This stay was incredibly satisfying, easily the best experience of my trip to Kunming. After booking, the front desk called to ask about my room preferences and proactively informed me about travel time and cost from the airport. Check-in was smooth; one staff member handled the registration while another, upon learning I was a tourist, introduced me to nearby attractions. I had dinner outside and visited Luolong Park as they suggested. I've truly never seen such double-petal cherry blossoms anywhere else. Getting back to the hotel took only about 7-8 minutes. What touched me most was when I casually mentioned to the front desk that I felt a bit lightheaded, perhaps due to altitude sickness. Ten minutes later, their duty manager called my room and even sent up fruit and Tremella soup – incredibly thoughtful. The room itself was excellent; all the facilities were new and spotlessly clean, the kind where you can comfortably walk barefoot. You could see Luolong Lake from the window, though the weather in Kunming hasn't been great these past couple of days, so Dian Lake wasn't very clear. Overall, this stay was wonderful, thanks to the lovely staff and the soft, fragrant bedding. My trip ended perfectly. If I ever return to Kunming, I'll definitely stay at this hotel again.
