Hotels in Tongde Kunming Shopping Center, Kunming

I've stayed here multiple times and the overall experience has been excellent. The location is convenient, making it perfect for travel. The bedding is comfortable, the staff is very helpful, and they even upgraded our room for free. I would definitely stay here again.

On this business trip to Kunming, I chose the Hilton Garden Inn. As always, the facilities and service were excellent. There's a large ground-level parking lot behind the hotel, which is very convenient. The hotel also has a complimentary beverage area on the first floor for guests. I booked a king-sized room this time, and to my surprise, it was actually a suite with a small living room and a desk outside, and the bedroom inside. I stayed here for 5 days, and it felt very cozy overall. I'll definitely consider Hilton Garden Inn first when I travel to other cities in the future, haha~

The room was incredibly spacious, and the bathroom counter in the vanity area was also very wide, with a large mirror, making it super convenient for getting ready. The vanity area and the toilet area were cleverly separated (wet and dry separation), which was a nice touch for quality accommodation. The cleanliness was excellent, and both the bedding and toiletries felt high-quality. The soundproofing was great; it was quiet and undisturbed at night. The front desk was very responsive; whenever we needed something, we just sent a message, and they brought it over right away. We had a really good experience overall.

Service attitude is very good, every time I go back to the hotel staff will say hello. Breakfast was also delivered, and there were many varieties of breakfast. The location is very good, there are many delicious foods nearby, there is a Jiahua downstairs, it is convenient to buy flower cakes, and it is more convenient to take a taxi to the scenic spot. There is also a tie-dyeing experience on the first floor, but there is no experience in a hurry (forgot to take a photo of the hotel, use other pictures to make up)

First, let's talk about the location. It's incredibly convenient for someone like me who hates hassle! It's just an 8-minute walk to the subway station, and there's a convenience store and breakfast shop downstairs. Buying a bottle of water or grabbing a bowl of noodles is a breeze. If I'm in a rush, it's easy to hail a taxi right outside; I've never had to spend ages looking for directions. The room facilities were also perfect for me—I'm a light sleeper, and I was worried the bed wouldn't be comfortable, but the mattress was just the right firmness, and the pillows didn't sag. I slept soundly through the night. The hot water in the bathroom came quickly, and the water pressure was good, so I didn't have to wait long to shower. The most thoughtful touch was the four charging ports on the table; I could charge my phone, tablet, and power bank all at once without having to fight over outlets or search for power strips. I used the gym in the common area. The equipment wasn't extensive, but it was sufficient, and it was very clean; none of the machines were broken. The service deserves special praise! The receptionist checked me in super quickly, without making me wait, and even proactively reminded me that breakfast is from 7 am to 10 am on the second floor, and gave me directions in case I couldn't find it. I noticed the bathroom light was flickering, so I called room service to have it fixed. A technician arrived in less than 20 minutes, apologizing for ”affecting my experience”—he was very kind. Later, I asked for an extra blanket, and after mentioning it over the phone, it was delivered quickly without any hesitation. Breakfast was sufficient; I didn't need anything fancy—there were freshly cooked noodles, wontons, hot porridge, and steamed buns, along with eggs, milk, and several side dishes. A bowl of noodles with an egg each day was just right. If you don't want to eat out in the evening, there are several small restaurants within a 10-minute walk; the food is decent, and the prices are reasonable, so you won't overspend. I think it's great value for money. I booked a few days in advance, and even with breakfast for two, it was several tens of yuan cheaper than another hotel in the same area. Crucially, parking was free (I drove), saving me a lot on parking fees. Compared to other hotels in the same price range I've stayed at, this one has no obvious shortcomings, and the details are very well done. The only minor drawback was that the soundproofing in the rooms wasn't great; I could occasionally hear footsteps in the hallway. However, I wore earplugs at night and didn't notice, so it didn't affect the overall experience. I'd most likely choose this hotel again next time I'm in this area!

I'm quite particular about my hotel choices, and Kunming has a lot of options, so I read many reviews before deciding. This Atour hotel definitely didn't disappoint. The location is super convenient for visiting the Wildlife Park and Green Lake. The hotel facilities are very new, and the bed and pillows are incredibly comfortable. What I value most, cleanliness and hygiene, was absolutely perfect 👍

The decoration facilities are old, the quilt is too heavy, the cover is uncomfortable, but the service attitude is good. There is a vegetarian cafeteria on the second floor. The environment and dishes are superb and worth a try.

We really enjoy our stay so far. Location quite convenient to travel around ,away from subway around 15 min by walk. Staff really helpful, they even help us to do the laundry. The room clean with good quality amenities in room. Complimentary tea at the lobby very delicious my friend really like it.

During my stay at the Wyndham Garden Hotel Kunming Panlong, there was a minor issue that initially affected my experience. However, to my surprise, the hotel's customer service manager, Xiao Jing, proactively contacted us immediately, admitted the mistake, and handled the problem promptly and professionally with a very sincere and positive attitude. The service was truly attentive and responsible, making us feel genuinely valued. Overall, it was a great stay, and I hope the hotel continues to improve.
