This was an absolutely lovely stay. The room was clean, and when the staff cleaned the room while I was out, they went above and beyond, organizing everything, and everything perfect. The staff was fantastic and very attentive, especially Sherry Aaron (thank you so much for everything!). Location, staff, rooms were all wonderful. Highly recommend.

I thought this hotel was good value for money, considering its 5 stars and location in downtown Kunming. The room was spacious and the bathroom was well appointed, with a lovely bath(with very hot water which I often find lacking) and a shower with great water pressure. The only downsides were that I found the room itself(not the bathroom) to be a bit outdated in terms of the fixtures and fittings. Also, the gentleman who checked me in wasn’t particularly friendly. He couldn’t speak English(which is not a problem at all, although I would expect it in a five star hotel) but he didn’t say a word to me throughout the entire check in process until he gave me my key. There’s much more to communication than just language and I felt his customer service skills were a bit lacking considering his position on a reception desk.

We have made a wechat group and the hotel stuff was always ready to reply every of my question, helped with locations in the city , even told me the location of H&M :) About the hotel: I SLEPT WELL (what is not usual in a hotel) The walls are thick so u never hear someone aisle. Bed is the perfect softness , mattresses are new, pillows too! The amenities of the hotel are in a very cool retro style. The Wai Mai ( food delivery) is very quick to this location. My overall experience of this hotel is five star ⭐️ I repeat again the most important thing that you need from a hotel is a good well rested night sleep and you get it here, i have stayed 8 nights !
