I thought this hotel was good value for money, considering its 5 stars and location in downtown Kunming. The room was spacious and the bathroom was well appointed, with a lovely bath(with very hot water which I often find lacking) and a shower with great water pressure. The only downsides were that I found the room itself(not the bathroom) to be a bit outdated in terms of the fixtures and fittings. Also, the gentleman who checked me in wasn’t particularly friendly. He couldn’t speak English(which is not a problem at all, although I would expect it in a five star hotel) but he didn’t say a word to me throughout the entire check in process until he gave me my key. There’s much more to communication than just language and I felt his customer service skills were a bit lacking considering his position on a reception desk.

This was an absolutely lovely stay. The room was clean, and when the staff cleaned the room while I was out, they went above and beyond, organizing everything, and everything perfect. The staff was fantastic and very attentive, especially Sherry Aaron (thank you so much for everything!). Location, staff, rooms were all wonderful. Highly recommend.

A very nice hotel with friendly service in a good location. It is between two stations on two different lines of the subway with an easy walk about 10-15 minutes either way. There are also a lot of shops and restaurants within a few minutes walk or a short cab ride. The hotel buffet breakfast had a lot of choices with both Chinese and western dishes and very good service. The room was very large and clean and comfortable. Tv had English news channel and the Wi-Fi worked well although I seemed to only be able to log in one device using the same phone number to get a code. The front desk staff spoke English and were very kind and helpful. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

The location of the hotel is very good, right in the city center and within walking distance from the old street. It is also very clean. The room is very good and the bedding is very comfortable. The breakfast is very rich. I like it very much. The staff is also very nice. Thank you to the front desk. The service of housekeeper Kong Lingbo, she introduced some characteristics of Kunming and sent luggage all the way to the room, very good service😀😊

The Hotel is located in the center of Kunming. Two metro lines just nearly. One line direct deserve the airport and the other one direct rich the south railway station. By foot one can go to the historical city center. We booked the suite 2026 which is very spacious with big windows, overview the city. The decoration is outdated. The bed is pretty old. Sometimes the AC doesn’t work well. Breakfast is very good. All the stuff are very helpful and friendly. Overall is not a real 5 stars hotel but the price is very fair for what you get.

The service at the front desk is considerate, they greet you when you come in and out, there is free water to drink, and you don’t need to pay for more. The breakfast is rich, with all-season special white porridge, soy milk, hot-fried and cold dishes, and there are special staff to guide the meal. The experience is very good. The room Clean and comfortable. There is a tatami tea table for drinking tea. The eldest sister even washed the clothes I changed and sent them back to the room. The service I can think of is reflected in the whole season. It is the first choice for going out in the future. I strongly recommend it

The hotel is located on Kunming Old Street, a place for eating, drinking and having fun. I booked an executive room, which was very spacious and very clean. The local flower cakes are very thoughtfully placed in the room. There is also a rock-style check-in point on the second floor. The style of Zhu Cha Tea is good, and it’s just the right place to have afternoon tea after you’re tired from all the shopping. The waiters were very friendly and helpful in carrying our luggage to the room; any questions we had were answered quickly. A hotel worth returning to again.

This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. It's conveniently located in the charming old town of Kunming, and is only a short walk away from Wuyi Road metro station. The hotel itself is a beautiful old building with a central courtyard providing a tranquil place to sit and rest. My room was impeccably clean and tastefully decorated. The bed was very comfortable, the shower worked perfectly, and the balcony gave a nice view of the courtyard. The bath was a pleasant surprise, however, I would prefer to have extra living space instead of the bath and just have the shower. However, with this being a historic building I realise that the owners might be unable or reluctant to demolish and rebuild parts of it. Also, it would be nice to add a bar of soap and some facewash to the bathroom (which was already well-stocked with shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and handwash). Before and during my stay I experienced some of the best service I've ever had. The manager contacted me before I arrived and even added my WeChat to give me the location of and directions to the hotel, then made me feel welcome when I arrived and continued to do so during the entire stay, with offers of free homemade flower cakes and tea (both of which were delicious). I'm sorry to leave this wonderful place so soon and I'll definitely return!

Very surprising B&B! The location is very good, surrounded by restaurants and a shopping mall. You can take the subway to get around, and there are shared bicycles at the door. I like the ethnic-style rooms here, which are named after each ethnic group, and the furnishings inside are also very fitting. I thought it would be noisy at night, but I had a good rest. The service in the store is very friendly. You can have rice noodles for breakfast in the morning. If you have time, you can try on ethnic costumes and take photos. All in all, it is a highly recommended B&B in Kunming!

This is a hotel converted from a residential building in the alley with three rooms. Because it is close to Cuihu, it is a good resting place to play in Cuihu. The rooms are located in the garden, with a beautiful environment, a public tea area and free books to borrow. I booked a deluxe king room on the third floor, the room was very large and clean, the bed and pillows were very soft, the bathtub was very good, the room was a garden terrace, the air was very good. The western restaurant next to it was very good, and I tasted Tucker and Hamburg by the way this stay, and it tasted good! Come to Kunming to play for a friend who wants to find a quiet place, you can take a reference and try this hotel! Really recommended!

This is one of my all-time favorite hostels, and this is my second time there; my first was 10 years ago. I couldn't wait to go back. The neighborhood around Green Lake Park is so relaxing, but you are just a short walk from some othe r attractions like the old street. There are always interesting travelers to hang out and chat with. They just need to improve their maintenance a little. Some small improvements that wouldn't even cost them very much. For example, a missing shower curtain in one of the showers so that your clothes don’t get wet, or a toilet seat that isn’t even attached to the toilet. These could be fixed with minimal effort.

The experience was excellent :-)) We got a free upgrade to a bigger and very quiet room. The location of hotel is perfect in the center of the city. We had also the underground in less than 5 minutes walking distance. The given recommendations were great and personal fitting. Even we got tips for our further trip in Yunnan. Booked this hotel again, the lady at the front desk upgraded my room for free, thank you so much! The hotel is located on Renmin Middle Road, with convenient transportation. There is a vegetable market and a small supermarket downstairs, not far from the pedestrian street, eating, drinking and shopping are very convenient. The hotel has complete basic facilities and is very warm. I would recommend it to my friends here!
