I travel a lot for work, so I've stayed in many hotels. I've been to Kunming countless times, and I stumbled upon this hotel with a really high rating. I honestly thought it might be a fake, so I just booked it to give it a try. To my surprise, it truly exceeded my expectations – definitely lives up to its reputation! I don't think I need to go into detail about the facilities and services; they're pretty much what you'd expect from a hotel in this price range. However, so many small details were perfectly executed! For example, the little toiletries provided at the sink really won this girl's heart. I slept in until noon, then went to the restaurant thinking I'd just grab a quick bite. But to my surprise, the selection of dishes hadn't diminished at all, even though it was getting close to the end of the mealtime. I absolutely love Yunnan cuisine; they can turn all sorts of weird and wonderful flowers and plants into delicious dishes. Everything looked so appetizing, and I just ate and watched my show – it felt just like being at home, haha. It's been ages since I last left a review; I used to be too lazy to write them. Now that I've written this much, I realize I've gone on and on, haha. As I was leaving, I casually mentioned how comfortable the pillows were. The butler said they sell them at the hotel and can even ship them, so I happily bought one to take home. Knowing I was heading to Dali next, the butler, a sweet-voiced lady, even gave me a lot of travel tips and recommendations as she escorted me to my ride. She was incredibly thoughtful. Overall, it was a really pleasant surprise! It's a shame I didn't have enough time for a travel photoshoot, missing out on some great photo opportunities. Next time, I'll make sure to get all those lost shots back!!

I was lucky enough to choose this guesthouse for two nights on this trip. The courtyard is beautiful, and it was so relaxing to sit out there and have a beer after a day of sightseeing. The owner's coffee is also delicious. The room facilities are pretty good for a guesthouse, and it was kept very clean. The guesthouse is located right by Dianchi Lake, so it's convenient for a stroll. Our Luoyuhe room was a bit small, and storage space felt a little cramped; I should have booked an upstairs room. Everything else was great, and I'll definitely recommend it to friends and family visiting Kunming.

The room was a perfect blend of tradition and modernity, thoughtfully designed with minimalist accessories that perfectly matched our taste. Cozy and inviting, it offered a sense of warmth and comfort that made us feel at home instantly. The view of the lake from our window added a touch of magic to our mornings and evenings. The location is simply ideal. Situated in a peaceful area just 100–200 meters from the Ethnic Yunnan Village Park (also known as the Ethnic Minority Nationalitys Park), it allowed us to easily explore this cultural gem during a day trip, an experience we highly recommend. At the same time, the homestay is surrounded by quiet shops and local markets, making it both convenient and serene. What truly set this place apart was the outstanding hospitality. From the moment we arrived at the airport, the hosts went out of their way to assist us, even arranging a Didi taxi to ensure we reached the homestay smoothly. Their kindness didn’t stop there, they helped us purchase tickets for cultural attractions, found an English-speaking guide when our Mandarin wasn’t sufficient, and took care of countless other details that made our stay effortless. A highlight of our experience was Miss Zhang’s traditional Yunnan tea ceremonies. These sessions were not only a delight for the senses but also a wonderful opportunity to learn about the unique qualities of Yunnan teas and the art of brewing them. The atmosphere was relaxed and intimate, often joined by the owners, which led to lively, hours-long conversations filled with laughter and stories. It was these moments that made us feel like we were among friends rather than guests. We enjoyed our stay so much that we’ve already booked the same room for our return in a week. We can’t wait to be back in this haven of warmth, culture, and comfort. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an authentic, memorable, and heartwarming experience in Kunming!

I spontaneously decided to visit Kunming, and my first thought was to book a room at the Cloud Hotel. This is actually my third stay here! The hotel's location is fantastic; it's a mere 5-minute walk to the old town. For the popular photo spot Huang Gong Dong Street, you just cross the pedestrian bridge right outside the hotel and walk another two or three minutes to Cuihu Park. As always, the front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, and the room was spotlessly clean.

This hostel in Kunming offers incredible value for money! The common areas are huge, and the terrace view is absolutely stunning. It's so comfortable to sunbathe during the day and enjoy the breeze at night. The place is cleaned very diligently, and the bedding is fresh and odorless. The staff at the front desk are all super enthusiastic and proactively recommend local snacks and travel routes. As a solo traveler, I felt completely safe and secure here!

We had a great one-night stay. The room was clean and spacious, located in a quiet gated community. We arrived around noon and were warmly welcomed by the owner. At the gate, we showed our booking details to security, then walked a short distance to the unit with our luggage. We enjoyed a delicious lunch prepared by the in-house chef, and the owner also made us excellent, good quality coffee. The house is very close to Dianchi Lake, just a few steps from the gate. We were able to walk around the lake and even took a cableway across to the Western Hills (Must do). The lake area was also lovely for a nighttime walk. Overall, our stay was relaxing and enjoyable. We wish we had stayed longer. The owner and staff were very friendly and made our stay even more pleasant.😊

Great location! very close to the metro and railway station. we arrived very late in kunming, the staff kindly waited for us, which we really appreciated. the room was clean and had all basic aminities. overall, fine for short stay.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at 26 Life hotel thank to the staffs and its location. What we like most here: 1. Staff: Xiao Bai and Xiao Wan, the 2 receptionists are lovely guys. Xiao Bai pick us up outside of the buiding to help us with the luggage. He is also professional in handling his work. he seems a bit serious on his face but once you know him, he is a nice guy. Xiao Wan is a lovely young boy. We talked a lot, he made us yummy milk tea, bought for us ice crea, fruit tea....and gave us some sourvenir. They are the ones made my stay here. Thank you guys! Moreover the hotel staffs also helped to received a package for me before my check in. 2. Location: it locates on the 4th floor of a building. It has a good location, where we can access easily to the shopping mall, the food stores. There is a small food court on the ground floor of the same building. The 1st store after the stair case once you enter the building sells pretty good noodles. 3. The balcony: my room is 201, with a balcony overlooking the garden on the ground and an open space to the big building in front, which gave us a peaceful corner to sit and talk and enjoy the nice spring weather. 4. The costume: the hotel offers free Miao costume to wear and take photo inside the hotel. Xiao Wan, the receptionist also help to take soem nice photos for us. What should be improved: 1. The cleanliness: the room facilities were a bit old but the cleanliness is definitely something can be changed and improved: like the table in the balcony, which should have been clean the surface. 2. The amenities: the big bath towels are torn out at the 2 edges. They can be reused as footmat or rag to recycle. New bath towel should be seriously considered. 3. The TV: A slow internet connection is causing the TV to stutter and lag, making it impossible to watch.making it not enjoyable to watch.

不错！ The place is clean. The small room is indeed small, but I think its the perfect place to spend a night or two, specially if you need to catch an early train, or you are arriving late. The place is only two blocks away from the 火车站. The neighborhood is also really nice Two problems: 1)Its hard to find. Its a floor inside a residential building. Any local will be able to help you in the end. 2)The walls are thin, and expect people arriving or leaving in the middle of the night. The owner was very nice.

The room was absolutely fantastic, exceeding all my expectations. The natural light was amazing, and the facilities were incredibly comprehensive. What truly stood out was the excellent location – super convenient, close to the subway station and shopping malls. The owner was also incredibly warm and responsive, quickly resolving any issues and communicating well. The bed was super comfortable, and there were no strange odors; the air was fresh. I highly recommend staying here! I've stayed many times now and genuinely love this guesthouse. I hope to stay many more times. We often sleep in late, and the owner is so considerate of our sleep, never rushing us to check out. The owner is genuinely super kind, super enthusiastic, and I highly, highly recommend this hotel. The room is also super beautiful, perfect for taking photos. I've stayed here so many times that I trust this hotel implicitly. All the toiletries are also very complete. Even after staying for two days, the room remains exceptionally clean, and you can call the auntie to help with cleaning. I feel really lucky!
