GGuest UserThe hotel's service was absolutely exceptional. There was a slight hiccup when booking, but the hotel staff immediately offered the best solution and even upgraded my parents' room for free. What was most touching was when my father left his walking stick behind. The staff promptly arranged for it to be shipped to our next hotel, and they didn't even charge for the delivery. It's not about the money, but the hotel staff's incredibly thoughtful and attentive service. Next time I'm in Kunming, I'll definitely choose to stay at Grand Hyatt again.

EeâchoâyouDue to a tight schedule on our return trip from a short holiday, with a flight early the next morning, we chose the DoubleTree by Hilton among several options. We didn't spend much time at the hotel, but my partner liked the layout of the accent wall in the room. The only downsides were that the breakfast buffet items were quite spread out and hard to see, with no clear signs to guide us, which affected our dining experience. Also, my husband washed two pairs of socks the day before and forgot to collect them in the morning. While the socks aren't important, what mattered was that housekeeping missed this step and didn't notify us; we only remembered once we were on the plane. The outer edge of the bathtub had noticeable stains, and the toilet's water outlet was unclean.

GGuest UserI've stayed at this hotel twice now, and the service, facilities, and even the meditation classes have consistently been excellent. The hotel's ambiance and scent create a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere, and the green views from the windows and the design are incredibly relaxing. All the staff members are exceptionally kind and friendly, always greeting you. I particularly appreciate the hotel's cultural offerings and the thoughtful little details â they've put a lot of care into them. The breakfast is delicious too. Location-wise: across the road is Daguan Park and Yuyuan, perfect for a morning stroll. There are also dedicated cycling and running paths right outside the hotel. It's about a 10-minute taxi ride to Haigeng Dam, and Cuihu Lake isn't too far either. Overall, it offers great value for money; it's healing, quiet, and truly feels like a home away from home.

LLijuan îŽ âŞ(^â^*) îThis is my third visit this year, and I absolutely love this hotel, even though it's only 30 kilometers from my home. My favorite part is the large balcony, which offers a delightful view of the lake and lush green mountains, with high skies and drifting clouds â it's incredibly peaceful. The evenings are very quiet. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent, and the breakfast at the restaurant is fantastic.
GGuest UserIt's a convenient 10-minute drive from the high-speed train station. The staff were very polite and well-trained, and they promptly attended to my family's needs. The room decor is more business-oriented, with a practical layout. The hotel entrance is right next to a subway station, and it's only four stops to Kunming Old Street. I'll definitely choose Novotel again for my next trip. @mila Thanks!
SsaolongAlthough the hotel was built in 2013, it's very well-maintained. The rooms and hallways are spacious and grand. It's a low-rise hotel with a large footprint and beautiful greenery. The staff are also excellent; they readily provided extra water when needed. The best part is its proximity to Dianchi Lake, just a ten-minute walk away. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Kunming.

ZZhennankanMy stay here was incredibly satisfying, definitely a five-star experience! The hotel boasts a superb location, making transportation a breeze whether I was exploring or commuting. Despite being in the city center, it was surprisingly quiet; the nights were exceptionally peaceful with absolutely no noise, ensuring a restful sleep. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bedding was soft, providing an excellent living experience. Heidi provided warm and attentive service, making the check-in process efficient and thoughtful. The room offered expansive views with a fantastic high-altitude cityscape right before my eyes. Overall, it offers great value for money; the environment, service, and location are all impeccable. I'll definitely choose this place again for my next trip and highly recommend it to all my friends traveling to the area.
ZZuibangdedakeerOur trip was absolutely perfect this time! ⨠Before we even arrived, our butler, Clove, thoughtfully called ahead to ask about our preferences and even added us on WeChat to coordinate everything. Knowing we were traveling with a child and the whole family, she kindly upgraded our room for free and arranged for our family to have adjoining rooms, making our stay incredibly comfortable!
She also meticulously wrote out a super practical, personalized guide to local attractions and dining spots. She even thoughtfully reminded us about the changeable weather, suggesting we bring umbrellas and light jackets, truly thinking of every detail. The room was already prepared and set up before we checked in, making the entire process seamless and worry-free. Her service was gentle, meticulous, professional, and incredibly attentive. She was warm and thorough with everyone, creating such a wonderful atmosphere. We felt so well taken care of throughout our stay, and it truly boosted our travel happiness. I highly recommend her and will definitely look for Clove again for our next stay!
GGuest UserEvery time I visit Kunming, I stay at the Grand Park Hotel, but I always forget to leave a good review. This time, I made sure to set a reminder! From the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly warm and attentive, anticipating our needs with many thoughtful details. The room arrangement was very comfortable, and all the facilities clearly looked newly renovated, making them easy to use, clean, and modern. Before we left, we even received handmade flower cakes from the hotel, which were sweet but not cloying â a truly heartwarming touch. What moved me even more was the airport transfer service they arranged for us; the driver was punctual and had a great attitude, making the whole journey stress-free. Next time I'm in Kunming, I'll definitely choose to stay here again.

Very Good
AAnonymous UserI rarely leave reviews, especially negative ones, but staying here made me feel like I got completely ripped off. I booked a two-night package with breakfast, only to find out it was barely a few tens cheaper during the May Day holiday. For 600, I ended up in a glorified budget hotel room with a fancy lobby. The small room was one thing, but I couldn't figure out the 'smart tech' aspect. Besides the direct drinking water and electric curtains, what else was smart about it? There wasn't even a smart toilet. The shower stall was incredibly slippery; I almost fell just from the water, let alone adding shampoo and body wash. I looked everywhere for a non-slip mat, but couldn't find one. Anyone showering barefoot needs to be very careful. In the morning, when I swiped my room card for breakfast, they said I didn't have it. I had to ask the front desk to verify, and they said it wasn't recorded â how can such a basic error happen? When they cleaned the room for our extended stay, the 'dedicated' cleaning staff separated our pushed-together twin beds and left a mysterious piece of cloth on the toilet. The trash can was too small, so my fruit container, which I placed next to the toilet, wasn't taken out either. The air conditioning in the room made occasional noises, probably due to a warped metal vent. When I reported it to the front desk, they knew exactly what I was talking about before I even finished explaining â so they know about the noise but haven't fixed it? I don't understand. The gym and pool are supposedly great, but they weren't a priority for us, so we didn't use them. Anyway, I won't be coming back. I'd rather pay a bit more and stay at an InterContinental.
