XXiangchuankuchadeyuI've been to Kunming for business a few times, but this is my first stay at this hotel, and it really exceeded my expectations! The front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. While checking in, they thoughtfully offered me a cup of hot ginger water because it was a bit chilly, which was a very sweet gesture. They even put a protective sleeve on my ID card – it's the little details that make all the difference. I can only say I'm extremely satisfied. The room was very clean and tidy, with a modern and spacious layout that made for a comfortable stay. The breakfast was plentiful, delicious, clean, and hygienic. The hotel is also very close to both the metro station and Kunming Railway Station, with tons of great food options nearby. Choosing Aiman Huajian Hotel for this trip to Kunming was definitely the right decision. I'll be back again next time!

GGuest UserMy stay at Mengjing Xiyue Hotel was such a pleasant surprise, I just have to rave about it!
First off, a huge shout-out to the hotel staff 👍. Their service was incredibly attentive and thoughtful. From check-in to everyday care, they made me feel so welcome and comfortable. Any requests were promptly addressed, and I never felt out of place.
The hotel facilities are also excellent. Both the common areas and the rooms were spotless and tidy. The bed, especially, was super soft and cozy – once I lay down, I didn't want to get up! I slept soundly every night.
What truly impressed me was the scenery 🌿. The rooftop terrace was adorned with succulents and bougainvillea, looking absolutely therapeutic under the sun. You can also enjoy a panoramic city view from there. It's perfect for just relaxing or taking photos – truly a hidden gem, offering tranquility amidst the hustle and bustle.
The breakfast was also very well thought out. A steaming bowl of rice noodles paired with some snacks was a perfect way to start an energetic day. The afternoon tea desserts were also exquisite and delicious.
Overall, a perfect experience. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit!

SSze Kay YipI loved my time at Healingmind Hotel (忽岚间)! Very special place that I would highly recommend to everyone looking for a unique and wellness-focused retreat, while still having time to explore the wonderful city of Kunming. Will be telling all my friends about this!

Experiences: stay includes three free experiences a day - morning yoga, afternoon sound bath meditation, evening aromatherapy. Had to rearrange my schedule a little to fit these in but I highly highly recommend going for them, the teachers were lovely and welcoming, and you might even end up with a ”private lesson” if you're the only person for that session! Especially recommend the morning yoga, the teacher was so kind and willing to customise the session to fit my experience level, and it was an amazing way to start the day and end my trip :)
Service: excellent, staff were young and enthusiastic and always willing to advise or lend a helping hand.
Amenities: included breakfast was excellent, decent range and variety - the rice noodles were great! The room was spacious, clean, and airy with good views, and I loved the little touches like the aroma diffuser and teapot set. The teahouse and pool were especially unique touches!
Location: easy to get around by car, drivers had no problem picking me up. There's a lovely park right opposite that runs along Dianchi Lake (滇池) towards the bay (海埂大坝) and from there you can take the cable car to Xishan (西山景区). About 20 minutes by car to Kunming Train Station (昆明站) and 40 minutes by car to Kunming Airport (昆明长水机场).

The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, including hot dishes, pastries, and fruits, all of which tasted great. The most pleasant surprise was the front desk proactively upgrading my room. Their service was both warm and professional, making me feel cared for throughout my stay. I'm extremely satisfied and highly recommend this hotel!

MM10627****The room was spacious, and the solid wood desk felt really high-quality. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, which was very convenient for two people. They even have robots that can deliver takeout, which is pretty smart. Plus, there are charging stations right next to the hotel, which is great for electric car owners – no need to worry about finding a place to charge.

GGuest UserHad an early flight the next morning, so I chose the Mercure at the airport and was very pleased. The room was clean, tidy, comfortable, and cozy. I really liked the French romantic decor, and it was great value for money. My only suggestion would be for the shower pressure to be a bit stronger. Overall, a great impression of Kunming!

GGuest UserWe are Americans from Hong Kong and traveled to Kunming for our Easter holiday. The positives of this hotel: 1. it was beautiful. The design and furnishings were very well done and the room itself was exceptionally clean. 2. The owners were so kind. We arrived way after the tea time hour, but they still provided our family with cappuccinos and fresh fruit, free of charge. Both were delicious and our children were so excited about the gourmet coffee art. 3. The mattress in the main bed area was very comfortable. Not a typical “hard” mattress like many hotels in China. Another bonus: it was actually a KING size, which we rarely see outside the US! 4. The breakfast was Chinese style and the rice noodles were delicious! The hotel also had a beautiful courtyard area to eat outside. A few items to be aware of: 1. although the hotel was in a neighborhood near the lake, the neighborhood itself was a bit strange. We could tell it was meant to be a beautiful, well-to-do neighborhood of modern villas, but more than half the neighborhood was unused and/or under construction so it wasn’t as lively feeling in the evening because it was so dark and desolate seeming. It was beautiful in the daylight though! 2. This is not a big hotel chain, just an independent boutique style hotel operating in one of these villas. 3. There are no optimal eating spots near the hotel. You have to take a 20-30 minute Didi (taxi) ride to the nearest area with a lot of restaurants. However, if you like street food, there is a street food carnival area about 10 minutes away via walking (walk north along boardwalk bordering the lake.)
Overall, because of the kindness of the owners, the cleanliness and modernity, delicious breakfast, and comfortable mattress, we would definitely choose this hotel again for a one-night stopover.

AAnonymous UserVery convenient location, practically the nearest hotel to the airport I can find. There is a shuttle bus to the airport, we took the 430am bus to catch an early morning flight. Bed is comfortable, water heat is good. There doesn't seem to be an independent heater in the room though. The building looks old from the outside but the rooms look recently renovated.
