Location: Conveniently situated yet peaceful amidst the hustle and bustle. If you are coming from the train station, we recommend taking the diagonal path shown in the photos; it's much easier for pulling luggage than walking all the way along Yongsheng Road, saving you from constantly going up and down curbs or having your suitcase wheels rattle painfully against the paving stones. For getting around later, hailing a cab right outside the hotel is very convenient, and taxi fares to all the major attractions are quite cheap. Amenities: The room is very spacious, the TV is huge, and the bedding is extremely comfortable. The front desk staff and everyone else we met were super welcoming, even upgrading the room for our elderly family members. The breakfast was also delicious. The bedside features a smart control panel and a Type-C charging port, perfect for people who like to use their phones or laptops while lying in bed. Thoughtful Details: There are directional signs to the elevator near the door lock, disposable toilet seat covers in the restroom, and facial cleansing towels provided in the sink area. In the room type I booked, the bathroom is right outside the toilet and a clothing-hanging area, which is very convenient for anyone who wants to change clothes or apply body lotion right after taking a shower (though layout may vary by room type). There is an electronic mosquito repellant on the nightstand, and the best part is the complimentary laundry service—unless you drop off your clothes quite late, you can get them back washed and dried on the same day. Drawbacks: The only thing that needs improvement is the flush toilet. Every time you sit down and activate it, it starts flushing, but the water splashes quite violently (to the point of getting your bottom wet). I'm not sure if this is the case in every room, but both rooms we booked had this issue. Both I and the elderly family members had a wonderfully satisfying stay this time. Great for a mix of business and leisure. This hotel is a fantastic choice. It's right next to Park 1903, making dining and relaxation very convenient, and it's not far from Dianchi Lake either. A brand new hotel, highly recommended.

Such a pleasant surprise! We were given a free upgrade to a suite upon check-in, which was absolute bliss ✨ The room is very spacious, with a comfortable layout, spotlessly clean, and fully equipped. The service was exceptionally warm and attentive, with great attention to detail. The overall experience exceeded expectations, and the value for money is unbeatable. I will definitely choose this hotel again for my layover in Kunming. Highly recommended!!

Still very satisfied after multiple stays. The front desk staff are flexible and professional in handling requests, and the free shuttle service is very convenient. Located behind a residential area, it's very quiet. The breakfast quality is consistently good and delicious. Kunming's cool climate is very comfortable. They thoughtfully provided snacks for the children and their special lucky draw always brings joy to the kids.

This hotel is incredibly thoughtful, beyond words! It's simply amazing, truly exceptional service. I initially chose to book the Mengjing Xiyue Hotel because I saw many recommendations on Xiaohongshu, especially praising the hotel's rooftop and balconies, which looked beautiful. I never expected that after actually checking in, I'd find the hotel's service and attention to detail even more surprising! The day before check-in, the hotel staff proactively contacted us to ask about our room setup preferences for the romantic room type. Even before checking in, I could already feel their immense dedication. The hygiene also made me feel very secure! The elevator, rooms, and lobby are disinfected daily, and the towels and amenities in the room are individually packaged. Both the room and bathroom were kept exceptionally clean. For guests who value cleanliness and hygiene, this truly provides great peace of mind. What touched me the most were these thoughtful little details! My feet were aching from days of shopping, even a bit inflamed, so I went to the front desk to ask the staff if they had a foot bath. To my surprise, the staff immediately sent a foot bath to my room, and even included herbal sachets for soaking my feet! My hands were chapped and cracking due to the dry weather, so I also inquired at the front desk. The staff thoughtfully provided hand cream. These are services that are not 'mandatory,' yet they were willing to proactively help. It truly makes you feel: this hotel genuinely cares about its guests' experiences. Breakfast is also served individually, and the portions are incredibly generous! And it's not just the quantity; the taste is also excellent, especially the tomato and egg noodle soup – I've truly loved it these past few days! In the lobby, there's also a popcorn machine + various floral teas that you can mix and match! You can enjoy freshly popped popcorn every day~ You can also choose your own floral tea, put it in a small paper cup, and take it back to your room to sip while watching TV. And every evening, there are delicious 'goodnight' desserts prepared. After a long day of exploring, returning to the hotel and finding these little surprises waiting for you is truly wonderful. I've stayed in many hotels, but this is the first time I've felt: 'I had such a happy stay, I almost didn't want to check out.' It's not because the hotel is luxurious, but because every small detail makes you feel their immense dedication. If I ever come back to Kunming, I will definitely stay here again! Because sometimes in the evening, when washing clothes, there are quite a few guests using them, and you have to wait for quite a while.

Choosing to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Kunming Train Station was an excellent decision – my overall experience was fantastic! The location is superb, offering convenient transportation. The environment is clean and elegant, and the check-in staff were friendly and welcoming. The service was warm and attentive. The 26th-floor lobby provides complimentary refreshments, and the hotel's self-service laundry and gym facilities are incredibly convenient. The Peter Thomas Roth toiletries in the room really helped wash away the day's fatigue, and the mattress was so soft that I was guaranteed a good night's sleep. The breakfast spread was also very rich and hygienic. Overall, everything was great, and it offered excellent value for money! You can't go wrong choosing this hotel for business trips or leisure travel!

I had a very pleasant stay at Dianyu Yunjing. It's perfect for a road trip. There are dedicated parking spaces in both the above-ground and underground car parks. The hotel is serene and quiet, with a swimming pool. The room was very clean, and the bedding was comfortable. The front desk staff were all very kind and attentive, patiently answering any questions. You can experience sound bowl healing, and the room comes with an aroma diffuser. The hotel's theme scent is citrus. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, and the afternoon tea was also exquisite. The outdoor corridor of the restaurant was very cool; you'll need a jacket in the mornings and evenings. The location is excellent. It's not far from Green Lake, the Old Street, Dianchi Lake, and Zhuanxin Farmers Market. For dining, there are many Yunnan restaurants and rice noodle shops about 1-1.5 km away, and the prices are very reasonable. There's a very quiet park near the hotel. I'll choose this place again on my next visit to Kunming; it's my top pick for self-driving.

The environment is great, and the hotel is new and very clean. The breakfast is rich, offering Yunnan specialties like rice noodles, flower cakes, and cured ham pancakes. You can also make your own rose fermented rice milk, which is delicious! The bed is very comfortable, and they provide complimentary makeup remover wipes and steam eye masks. Kiki called to ask if we needed anything, and since there were three of us, they prepared three sets of toiletries. The front desk also helped us add an extra breakfast, which was much appreciated! It's not far from attractions like Green Lake, and I'll definitely consider staying here again next time I visit Kunming. :)

I've been to Kunming many times and have stayed at many hotels near Kunming Airport. This was my first time driving here and also my first time choosing Mercure. First off, the service attitude, whether from the front desk or the housekeeping staff, was quite good. The front desk even came over to change my room when they saw my request to be away from the elevator, which was very considerate. They also provided a breakfast box for my early morning airport transfer. The room wasn't big but it was very well-appointed. The air conditioning was very cool, and the minibar was well-stocked. The parking lot looked large, but parking spaces were actually quite tight. The hotel is close to the airport, less than a 10-minute drive. Some airplane noise from takeoffs and landings is normal and manageable. However, I wonder if the noise from the room's own air conditioning could be addressed? Many parts of the showerhead in the bathroom were loose. I'm not sure if the housekeeping supervisor thoroughly checks the rooms. It took a long time for hot water to come through in both the shower and the sink. I hope this can be improved. The walk from the front desk to the elevator was quite convoluted and hard to find for first-time guests. Plus, the hallway was very stuffy and hot.

Overall, it was genuinely great. I stayed here with my parents and child, and the beds were quite large. The breakfast was plentiful; though I didn't get to try it, my parents did and they were very happy, which made me happy too. The front desk staff was excellent. When my child wasn't feeling well, they told us which hospital to go to, and all our questions and issues were communicated and resolved promptly. The hotel also has a laundry room. It was a pleasant stay, and the location was convenient for getting everywhere. Really good!
