This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. According to our guests, this hotel provides a very high level of service.
"The boss is very meticulous, and the items purchased are very convenient for people on the journey. There are storage baskets and clothes hanging areas in the room. There are lockers for storage items. There are shared full-length mirrors, paper towels, water dispensers, rest areas in the public area... Everyone is also better to maintain the environment. As a youth hostel, it provides a lot of care."

GGuest UserThe apartment is very clean, it's been cleaned every day. Bed is comfortable and bedroom is quiet. Living room is beautiful. The owner is friendly, helpful and hard working woman. Location is near railway station and there is a lot of restaurants in the neighborhood. Thank you for hosting me!

KKa-LaLaLaIt is our own fault but we did not realise that this was so far out of the city and at the entrance gate of a cultural Stockade. The host was helpful but there was a bit of an odour from the bathroom.  if your purpose to stay here is to see the cultural stock then this would be a good location but there are no restaurants nearby.  There was a nice view from our window of the lake and some beautiful traditional architecture to walk around and see in the area.

TTaigezaishouThis hotel was the best place we stayed during our trip to Yunnan during the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holidays. Our itinerary was from Guangdong to Kunming, Dali, and Lijiang. We stayed here for two nights when we arrived in Kunming. When we returned to Kunming from Lijiang, we booked this hotel again without hesitation. The owner upgraded our two 1.2-meter beds to two 1.5-meter double beds, and even gave us two delicious mooncakes (it happened to be Mid-Autumn Festival that day) and some blessings. We were very grateful! Since this was our first time traveling to Yunnan, we had limited time and didn't get to experience it all. Next time we come to Kunming, we will definitely choose this hotel again because it's very convenient for getting around and eating. The subway and bus stops are right next to the hotel. The room, blankets, pillows, and sheets are clean and odor-free, and we can park for free in the garden. Most importantly, the owners are very kind. The owner's wife told me that the owner used to be a teacher, which explains why he seemed like a cultured person, and also like a government official. It's really great and deserves recognition and recommendation. I wish the owners great success in their business and a happy life!

GGuest User[Room] The room should be newly renovated and parking is convenient next to it. We booked a twin room, which was not very big, but was enough for a hot spring bath. It was quite quiet outside the window.
[Hot Spring] The hot spring water is very hot, the water quality is yellowish, and it is very comfortable to soak in. The only thing is that the pool in the twin room is a bit small, and can only accommodate one adult and one child at a time. If you need suggestions for a larger pool, look at other room types.
【Suggestion】Install a safety lock on the room door.

GGuest UserLocation was great that it was a walk away from the Kunming Railway Station where I needed to be to leave the city. I liked how it was near a lot of food places! The volunteer Evens was an interesting person to talk to when I learned about his background in what he does as an occupation and where he is originally from in China. The owner Winni was a nice person as well and I appreciated and enjoy her and some of the other guests that cooked for us the night that we had a big dinner. Thank you for being part of the chef crew Winni. Everybody who stayed at the place was respectful and considered towards one another in the way that they conducted themselves. Was able to go along with the rules of this hostel because it fit my daily habits. Nobody had any habits that bothered me.
Not really into the hostel type of stays, due to lack of privacy. Was just happy to stay at this place since it was pretty much right at the doorstep of the Kunming Railway station where I can catch my train on time where I wouldn't end up getting lost in the city which in turn would end up missing it.
The only negative thing that I didn't like was that the bathroom did not have bath towels and just regular hand towels where I would not be able to dry myself very well after showering. Because of this I didn't want to take a shower at this place and the fact that these towels were used repeatedly from other guests, which made me feel uncomfortable wanting to use it. Would come back to this Hostel again if I happen to have to come back to Kunming again where I needed to be near this train station to catch at train there.

MMingyuA hotel with a very folk-style environment, it is relatively clean in a village, and behind it is the folk customs. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk from the village to Dianchi Lake. The whole feeling is surrounded by strong ethnic culture. It is a good travel experience. It is also close to eating, and there are more famous ethnic restaurants nearby.

GGuest UserA very, very good stay experience. The boss is a very kind person. He patiently answered all the big and small questions one by one. It is very, very good! In terms of the environment, it is very, very, very clean. There are volunteers cleaning every day. The boss said that the volunteers are very good in all aspects. Clean carefully. The bathroom is also very clean, white and bright with no peculiar smell! The roommates I met are all very friendly and quality people! When I traveled to Kunming this time, I felt a lot of goodwill and enthusiasm, and I ate a lot of delicious food. I want to cry when I think about leaving here and going back to a food desert. It’s so comfortable that I don’t even want to leave here! Thank you very much to the boss for giving me a particularly good experience of staying in a hostel! I’ll come back next time!

GGuest UserIt was an excellent experience — everything was clean and well-maintained. The owner made sure the toilet was always spotless, which I really appreciated. He was incredibly kind and even treated me to dinner, which I didn’t expect at all — such a pleasant surprise! He also recommended some great places to visit without me even asking. Everyone was so warm and welcoming. Truly a memorable stay! 100% recommend!

AAnonymous UserWe stayed here only around three hours while waiting for 7am train. I would say if you are a budgeted travelers and don’t mind the bathroom only covered with curtains and no doors toilet, then this is the perfect place for you. Very near Kunming Train Station, like four to five minutes walk from motel. Check in was easy.
