GGuest UserNot really a youth hostel but someone's high rise flat filled with beds on 7th floor. Excellent location near to railway station but difficult to find on the map and you need to ring the owner who doesn't speak English. I've added the photo of the entrance doorway and amended map but you still need to ring the owner to get access. Cramped, only one bathroom for a lot of people, but kitchen with kettle and living area, good budget accommodation for a night, I wouldn't stay here longer.

DDr. JaysWe had an amazing stay , Cookie is a wonderful host, very kind
And pleasant, she speaks English too , she let us check in early and made all arrangements to make our stay comfortable, the rooms are big, well ventilated and opens to beautiful view of the lake. Rooms are well kept and hygienic. The location is ideal for exploring the ethnic village and other tourist attractions. We highly recommend this hotel, we would definitely stay here again.

GGuest UserThe room was fully equipped and very clean. The hotel's location is also excellent; it's just a 1-2 minute walk from the subway exit, with bus stops nearby, making transportation very convenient. It's also very close to Cuihu Lake, within walking distance. There are breakfast spots, restaurants, a Walmart supermarket, and a shopping center nearby, so dining and shopping are super easy. The owners are both warm, easygoing, and provide great service. They even upgraded my room for free. All in all, my solo trip staying here was very comfortable.

GGuest UserLocation was great that it was a walk away from the Kunming Railway Station where I needed to be to leave the city. I liked how it was near a lot of food places! The volunteer Evens was an interesting person to talk to when I learned about his background in what he does as an occupation and where he is originally from in China. The owner Winni was a nice person as well and I appreciated and enjoy her and some of the other guests that cooked for us the night that we had a big dinner. Thank you for being part of the chef crew Winni. Everybody who stayed at the place was respectful and considered towards one another in the way that they conducted themselves. Was able to go along with the rules of this hostel because it fit my daily habits. Nobody had any habits that bothered me.
Not really into the hostel type of stays, due to lack of privacy. Was just happy to stay at this place since it was pretty much right at the doorstep of the Kunming Railway station where I can catch my train on time where I wouldn't end up getting lost in the city which in turn would end up missing it.
The only negative thing that I didn't like was that the bathroom did not have bath towels and just regular hand towels where I would not be able to dry myself very well after showering. Because of this I didn't want to take a shower at this place and the fact that these towels were used repeatedly from other guests, which made me feel uncomfortable wanting to use it. Would come back to this Hostel again if I happen to have to come back to Kunming again where I needed to be near this train station to catch at train there.

GGuest User[Room] The room should be newly renovated and parking is convenient next to it. We booked a twin room, which was not very big, but was enough for a hot spring bath. It was quite quiet outside the window.
[Hot Spring] The hot spring water is very hot, the water quality is yellowish, and it is very comfortable to soak in. The only thing is that the pool in the twin room is a bit small, and can only accommodate one adult and one child at a time. If you need suggestions for a larger pool, look at other room types.
【Suggestion】Install a safety lock on the room door.

MMingyuA hotel with a very folk-style environment, it is relatively clean in a village, and behind it is the folk customs. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk from the village to Dianchi Lake. The whole feeling is surrounded by strong ethnic culture. It is a good travel experience. It is also close to eating, and there are more famous ethnic restaurants nearby.

GGuest UserA very, very good stay experience. The boss is a very kind person. He patiently answered all the big and small questions one by one. It is very, very good! In terms of the environment, it is very, very, very clean. There are volunteers cleaning every day. The boss said that the volunteers are very good in all aspects. Clean carefully. The bathroom is also very clean, white and bright with no peculiar smell! The roommates I met are all very friendly and quality people! When I traveled to Kunming this time, I felt a lot of goodwill and enthusiasm, and I ate a lot of delicious food. I want to cry when I think about leaving here and going back to a food desert. It’s so comfortable that I don’t even want to leave here! Thank you very much to the boss for giving me a particularly good experience of staying in a hostel! I’ll come back next time!

NNur Aliff Farhanlocated near to the city, for muslim people, easy to find halal food near the hostel. everything was nice. There was no fan in the room but when i came it’s already end of autumn, so it’s not a problem for me.

Excellent location, right next door to the railway station, plus double room (shared bathroom) for the same price as the bunk beds in that same region. The bathrooms aren't exactly clean, and they were knocking on my door 3 minutes past check out time, but it was good in general
