My companions and I were all extremely satisfied with this stay. The 'posu bao' (flaky pastry bun) was a particular highlight, everyone raved about it! My colleague kept saying you provide 'angelic service.' I love every staff member here; they are attentive and thoughtful, and you can truly feel the genuine kindness radiating from them. Just now, the cleaning lady passed by and gave me an angelic smile, even though she could have easily ignored me while I was engrossed in my computer. This 'hidden gem in the city' that you meticulously maintain allowed us to feel incredibly relaxed. Whether it was the private hot spring, the calligraphy practice, or simply reading in the tearoom with the cat while listening to the rain, it all brought immense relaxation to our minds and bodies. Thank you for taking care of us these past few days. It was a truly wonderful experience, and we'll definitely be back! Service: 100%! Familial service; the staff here truly see every individual guest.

I had a very satisfying stay here. The service was prompt and attentive; I received a confirmation call from the hotel as soon as I landed in the morning, with clear instructions on taking the elevator next to Gate 1 of Wanda Plaza to the 13th floor. Each room comes with a sleep-aid diffuser, and when I accidentally knocked mine over, the staff immediately replaced the essential oil. The entire room is smart-enabled, and they thoughtfully provided face masks, hair ties, disposable face towels, bathtub liners, heated eye masks, and earplugs – truly impressive! Kunming's UV rays are intense, so it was great to come back to the hotel every evening and hydrate with a face mask. The most delightful surprise was the windowsill where you could brew your own tea. Although I'm not a tea drinker, it was still very pleasant to sit there, play on my phone, or watch TV. If I had to nitpick, I'd say the breakfast selection was a bit limited, without many choices. However, the main dishes like rice noodles, mini wontons, and steam pot chicken were all delicious and filling. In summary, for the price, this hotel is an absolute steal. If I get the chance to visit Kunming again, this will definitely be my first choice.

This is the second time I’ve booked this hotel and also the second time I’m impressed with the hotel service. I’ve touched down Kunming too early and since I’m tired from late night flight, I head straight to the hotel after I’ve landed although I understand check in cannot be so early. The concierge was nice to allow me and my partner to enjoy breakfast (we booked stay with breakfast) while waiting for guests to check out as their hotel was fully booked. Right after our breakfast, the concierge saw us and quickly chased up the cleaning staff to tidy up the room asap so guests can check in earlier. I appreciate their thoughtfulness in this and was lucky to check in in the morning although the stated check-in time is 2pm. I also appreciate the cleaning staff attentiveness to us as we prefer the room to be clean up every 2 days instead of daily. (We book 4 nights there). She keeps checking in with us as she is worried we run out of drinking water, tissue paper, toilet roll and clean towel almost every morning. On our last day, we came back to our room around late afternoon and she thoughtfully hang a laundry bag filled with drinking water bottles and even new pack of tissue on our door. (We leave do not disturb button on while we went out.) The hotel staff at lobby was also very attentive when we get out of Didi outside in the rain, he runs towards us with umbrella to shield us from rain. I also enjoy hotel breakfast very much as I arrived in Kunming with weak stomach and needed non spicy and easy food to ingest. They provided a great range of food that suits foreigners, children and even sick adults like me. Thank you Dianyu Yunling, I know I can trust this hotel’s service level and will return to this hotel again for my next Kunming trip!

Still very satisfied after multiple stays. The front desk staff are flexible and professional in handling requests, and the free shuttle service is very convenient. Located behind a residential area, it's very quiet. The breakfast quality is consistently good and delicious. Kunming's cool climate is very comfortable. They thoughtfully provided snacks for the children and their special lucky draw always brings joy to the kids.

I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. I was quite hesitant before choosing it, especially after reading about the negative elevator incident, which made me really worry about safety. So, every time I took the elevator during my stay, I was on edge. The main reason I decided to stay was for the hot springs and swimming pool, as it's been raining a lot in Kunming recently, and I figured we'd just enjoy the hotel. Honestly, I wasn't particularly impressed with the service, and the facilities are quite old, very old. If it weren't for the constant rain and traveling with a child, I probably wouldn't have chosen this hotel. Especially after visiting Fuxian Lake, the comparison really highlighted its shortcomings.

Overall, the hotel was great – a true all-in-one spot for dining, entertainment, and relaxation. It’s perfect for spending a few days unwinding. The facilities like the pool and gym were excellent. Everything you need is right here! Plus, the three meals a day offered by the hotel were quite tasty. On a different note, I needed to arrange dinner for my family and called twice in advance to book a restaurant. The front desk said the F&B department would contact me, but they never did, even after I checked out… a bit frustrating. When I checked in, the front desk told me our standard room was on the first floor. I acknowledged it, and then they repeated it, “first floor, okay?” I didn't quite understand why they emphasized it twice. It wasn’t until I got to the room that I realized the cafe’s outdoor terrace offers a direct view into the room. (The front desk could have just said that directly instead of being so vague; how would I know, being a first-time guest?) Three areas for improvement: 1. The non-slip mat in the shower was very dirty. 2. The coordination among the F&B staff needs to be better. 3. The front desk should be more direct. Repeating that the standard room was on the first floor in such a roundabout way completely confused me as a first-time visitor about what they were trying to convey!

I stayed for three nights, and overall, my experience was very satisfying. This hotel left the deepest impression on me during my trip to Yunnan. The private courtyard and hot spring gave it a real resort feel, and the quiet environment was perfect for relaxation. The breakfast quality was excellent; in addition to the usual offerings, there were freshly cooked items like pan-fried steak and fresh shrimp, which I looked forward to every morning. The service was an even bigger bonus. Our butler drove us to the mountaintop restaurant for breakfast, and any requests we had during our stay were promptly met. The whole process felt very comfortable—not overly intrusive, but help was always available immediately when needed. When we checked out, they even thoughtfully gave us some tea as a souvenir, which was a lovely touch. If you're looking for a hotel genuinely suited for a vacation and unwinding, I think it's definitely worth experiencing. I'll certainly come back if I have the chance.

This guesthouse was amazing! The yard was spotless, the rooms had a lovely, subtle fragrance, the air conditioning was great, the internet was fast, hot water came out in the shower in just 5 seconds, and the pool was heated. It rained today, so we swam and exercised at the guesthouse. The owner was especially welcoming; she made us some hot tea. I'll definitely come back next time!

This hotel is right next to Colorful Yunnan Happy World, just a wall away. Every time I bring my son to Colorful Yunnan, we always stay here! We've been staying for three or four years straight! I especially want to praise the staff service, it's absolutely amazing [thumb up R]! Staff members arrive within five minutes. The front desk staff, Xiao Liang, is beautiful and kind. When we checked in, our luggage was taken all the way to our room. Since the food delivery robot was a bit slow, the concierge even delivered the items directly to our door!

It's rare to find a hotel that truly feels like a home away from home, but Bolian Hot Spring Resort certainly does! First, let's talk about the service. We stayed during the off-season, so there weren't many staff around, but you could still feel the warmth and professionalism from everyone, from our butler Dashi to the restaurant, hot springs, and front desk staff. The front desk staff even multi-tasked, making us tea and driving us to our room. Their professional training was evident throughout our stay. Even though the hotel has been open for twenty years, it doesn't feel old or dated at all. Every corner of the hotel is picturesque, and the hot springs are fantastic. The courtyard in our room was breathtakingly beautiful. To our pleasant surprise, the restaurant's food was delicious, with excellent Yunnan cuisine. We will definitely be back again. The hotel also provided complimentary executive car airport transfers and vouchers that could be used for dining or spa services at the hotel, which was a very nice touch.
