3. **Hygiene Conditions:** Both the bathroom and the room were spotless. Daily cleaning was thorough and meticulous, and the disinfection measures were also very well done, making us feel completely at ease.
4. **Dining Experience:** The breakfast selection was rich and varied, the ingredients were fresh, and the taste was fantastic. The restaurant environment was elegant, and the service was thoughtful.
5. **Location:** The location was convenient for transportation, and the surrounding commercial facilities were comprehensive. It's perfect for both family trips and sightseeing.

The day before check-in, Suzanna proactively reached out via WeChat. After learning about our itinerary, she thoughtfully noted down our preferences.
During our stay, Suzanna's service perfectly embodied what true 'Grand Hyatt hospitality' means. She didn't just do her job; she genuinely paid attention. She remembered our casual remarks about our likes, diligently checked in with us daily about our experience, and responded incredibly fast. Whether we had extra requests or not, she was always there to help immediately. When we asked for tips on exploring Kunming, she not only provided detailed answers but also kindly reminded us about events at the nearby Delong Plaza. Her care felt as natural as a family member's.
While the hotel's hardware is its skeleton, service is its soul. Suzanna's professionalism, kindness, and attentiveness made our Kunming trip full of wonderful memories.

GGuest UserThis hotel exceeded my expectations! The location is a bit out of the way, but it's very convenient if you're driving. It's located within the Sunac Resort, which has lots of activities and offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. From check-in, it was a series of pleasant surprises – there was welcome tea and freshly baked flower cakes. Although there's no elevator, the staff helped carry our luggage to the room. The flat white at the hotel is delicious! Both the facilities and service are excellent, and it offers great value for money. The little animals in the resort are also adorable!

MMarc1The hotel is beautifully located by a serene, quiet lake, making it an excellent choice for a relaxing stay. It is particularly popular among families with children, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The breakfast is fantastic, especially if you go early in the morning when the food is freshly prepared. However, later in the day, the selection may not be as fresh.
While the staff does not speak English, navigating your stay is still manageable with some basic Chinese and the help of Google Translate—just as it is in many parts of China.
I highly recommend booking a room with a spa on the balcony. These rooms are located on the second floor, offering greater privacy and more outdoor space. The spa feature itself can be a bit tricky to use—you need to ensure the water level is just right, as too much or too little will prevent it from working properly.
Overall, the hotel is very clean, and the staff is accommodating and responsive to any requests. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with excellent amenities, this is a great choice.

Zzonglizl21Staying at the InterContinental Kunming, my overall experience had both clear strengths and weaknesses.
**What I Liked:**
1. **Exceptional Service:** From the concierge to the front desk and restaurant staff, everyone was incredibly friendly, proactive, and professional. This was definitely the highlight of my stay.
2. **Great Ambiance & Environment:** The hotel's public areas and gardens are beautifully maintained. The lobby is grand, and a stroll through the garden is very pleasant. The rooms were also very quiet.
3. **Pleasant Amenities:** The shampoo and shower gel in the room were surprisingly good quality, exceeding my expectations – a nice little bonus.
**Areas for Improvement:**
1. **Slightly Dated Facilities:** Some of the room equipment and decor definitely show their age, as mentioned in other reviews. However, this didn't affect the cleanliness.
2. **Missed Package Inclusions:** My booking clearly stated a ”RMB 398 double buffet dinner” and a ”RMB 130 voucher.” Yet, upon check-in, the front desk didn't mention these or provide any vouchers. I only received them after I proactively inquired the next day. Had I not been diligent, I would have easily missed out. I hope the hotel can proactively and clearly confirm package details during check-in to avoid inconveniencing guests.
**Summary & Recommendations:**
This is a hotel that truly excels in service. If excellent service, a pleasant environment, and a general resort feel are important to you, this is a good choice. However, if you are very particular about the newness of room facilities, or if you've booked a package with extra benefits, I recommend:
* Lowering your expectations regarding the room's hardware.
* During check-in, make sure to actively and immediately verify all items included in your package to ensure you receive your entitlements.
I hope the hotel can further optimize its procedural details to make the guest experience even more seamless and perfect.

HHuoenxinqijiFirst, let me start with a compliment! The service attitude was exceptionally good! Whether it was asking the customer service小姐姐 for two extra quilts because I'm sensitive to cold, or asking the kitchen姐姐 for a plate to wash some fruit, everyone was incredibly willing to help! No one showed any impatience whatsoever. Everyone was genuinely wonderful, like a big, happy family!
Now for the downsides: The secondhand smoke issue is really serious! From the moment you walk in, there are smokers everywhere, and there are ashtrays outside the rooms on the second floor, with people smoking there every day. Of course, I had seen reviews mentioning this before checking in, so I was mentally prepared. Also, the water heater was still quite unstable, alternating between scalding hot and freezing cold. I was practically doing a tango in the shower!
Overall, it's great value for money, and I even found a companion. I would still recommend staying at 'Dajiaoshi' if you're traveling alone!

The hotel had a wonderful festive atmosphere for the New Year, and the service was attentive and thorough. Check-in was efficient and quick, and our rooms were clean, spacious, and had great views, with comfortable bedding. My whole family was very happy. The location is excellent, making it convenient for getting around, as it's close to both the subway station and Kunming Old Street. The attention to detail and warm service were outstanding, making it perfect for a family trip. We felt safe and comfortable during our Chinese New Year stay. Highly recommended!

We had booked the room that was nit quite fit for me, so I asked her to update, they both did assist and kind service to us. Did really appreciate for both Ms Wang and Ms Zhang is excellent service. EEd.wardGood location in central Kunming, though about a 10 minute walk with luggage from the nearest metro station. Rooms and bathrooms were clean, decent beds, large lockers. Sizeable indoor/outdoor common areas with bars in each. Lots of craft beers on tap, although they don't seem to get that much use, as it took a while for the barman to get the tap running well enough to pour a decent beer. Food was nice and large serving size. Some interesting artwork on the walls
