The hotel was new. The room looked spacious and clean. Although there was no breakfast provided, there were nice food options nearby within minutes and walk.
However, Hotel did never inform where to wait for the airport pickup shuttle bus during the entire booking, which is very inconvenient for international travellers. Although we added 华顾酒店前台1 as friend on WeChat and wanted to check where to wait for airport pick-up shuttle bus, we didn't get any reply. In the end, we had to make international call at the airport to the hotel to get such info.

Do your homework and stay in this hotel that night. The security guy at the gate is very warm and thoughtful. Ask him some places to play and he will tell you what he knows. Living on the third floor (the breakfast room is also on the third floor) along the commercial street (as shown in the picture) is a bit noisy during the day. Everything else is ok. There are many bars, restaurants and supermarkets around the commercial street. It is very convenient and the room facilities are complete. Overall good 👍

The service was impeccable. When I checked in, the manager (Wang I believe) and front desk staff were highly polite and super attentive and made us most welcomed. Additionally , the manager took the extra effort to ensure that I would not be disturbed, as I had a wee hours morning flight to catch, and allocated us a room that would not be noisy.
The quality of the items in the room was of high quality from the bathrobe to the room sandals.
Very good afternoon tea was provided even after the stipulated time.

I called the hotel before 12 o'clock after getting off the flight. I waited at the airport for an hour and a half and didn't return to the hotel until 1:30. I made more than a dozen calls in a row, and it was almost here, 5 minutes later, 1 minute later, but I picked up someone else first and left, so I was asked to wait at the airport! Then he said that if you don’t want to wait, you can take a taxi and the hotel will reimburse you! It's really too exciting. What were you doing earlier? If I had taken a taxi, I would have left long ago. Why bother waiting here for more than an hour?
I swiped my card to go upstairs. After going back and forth many times, I still couldn't get up!
In short, just discussing things, the issue of airport pick-up was very hot, but the rest was quite satisfactory!

Very sleek and modern hotel. This (I say this because this building has other hotels as well) hotel corridor and hotel room are very clean, fresh and nice. It is in the University Town and in this town there is night market. Every other step is a food store or hotel. The hotel can be hard to locate since one building could have multiple hotels with their own front desk. The Railway Station is just nearby. The is a slight typo in the trip.com website ”hopin” it should be ”houpin” as seen in the picture.

Overall, our stay at Wanda Vista pleasing and comfortable. The service I received from Annie Xiong at the reception was extremely thoughtful. We came off a long flight and everyone was attentive to our needs. Location of the hotel is good, convenient to places you would probably visit. Amenities were also top quality. We would definitely (and we are) head back again during our next visit. I recommend foreign friends to consider this hotel when you visit Kunming!

Experienced a very good hotel, the first time to Kunming, the location is quite convenient, anyway, driving, there is free parking, very quiet at night, although by the roadside, but closed the window sound insulation is not bad, the bathroom is large, toiletries and slippers can be seen from the business's intentions, Quality is quite high for this price. The Butler,夏至, is extremely helpful and attentive to all detail in terms of providing the best customer services. I have stayed at numerous five stars hotels in the past, but none of them can match the severice level that she had provided. I strongly recommend others to stay at this property.

GGuest UserWe had a very wonderful time at the JinBi Hotel. It is one of the best hotels I’ve been. We booked two rooms for two couples. The rooms are big and spacious and most importantly clean and comfortable. The whole hotel is very clean and tidy. The Chinese style decorations and furnitures are very tasteful. The whole design is coordinated and elegant. Even the breakfast area is nicely decorated. There are options for the set breakfast which is simple but sufficient. There are also places to have tea . The service is excellent. It’s higher than a 5 star rating. From the front desk to the kitchen staff to the cleaning staff to the manager, they are all very warm and helpful. They were very patient with my elderly brother in law who had tons of questions and requests.
We were really satisfied with our stay.

It’s vibey and full of vibrancy. The rooms are a little in the small side but that okay. The shower was great!
Loved the welcome fruit. The breakfast didn’t have much for vegetarian eaters. But it was great that it was till 12:30.
Overall great hotel! With a nice artsy vibe and a great skybar view and swimming pool.
Downside was none of the staff spoke English. For an international chain this was shocking .

GGuest Userwe paid a lot of money to stay here and at that price we felt it was really a bad deal. A few days later after the holiday season, the price dropped to about 1/3 of what we had paid and I guess it wouldn’t be too bad at that price point.
The main advantage of this place is that it’s right in the heart of the student area with a lot of coffee, shops, and a few restaurants. Maybe a 10 minute walk down to the lake which is not too bad also.  the bed part about the location is that solid 20 minute walk from the metro station with part of it being uphill.
one thing that we found strange about this hotel is that when you enter the lobby it’s just an elevator when you go up to the top floor to check in. Like many places, no one speaks a word of English, and they seem to even have a hard time reading the checking voucher that is provided by trip.
the breakfast was OK for a Chinese breakfast. Not the best, but not too bad. However, if you’re expecting anything like an American or European breakfast, it is fairly disappointing.
 we returned to the city a few days later, and decided to book a different hotel, rather than return to this one

The overall decoration is quite grand, the garden view is also very beautiful, clean and sanitary, the room is of moderate size, the balcony is large, the view is wide, and the greenway can be seen from the balcony, but the lake is a bit far away, so only a small part can be seen. The service is generally satisfactory. I will call in advance to ask if there are any requirements. The front desk Ding Ding service is very thoughtful. Every time I return to the hotel, a specialist will open the car door and take the luggage to greet me. There is robot service, it is very convenient to order takeout, there is a night bed service, welcome fruits, and there are many varieties of breakfast. The room order is also delivered in time. The only thing I am not satisfied with is that the swimming pool is very small, and it feels a bit crowded when there are more people. The signs are not clear enough. There is actually an elevator from the guest room that can go directly to the swimming pool and gym, but there is no sign in the corridor. I hope it can be improved.

Inside the room is the intelligent voice operation of Xiaozhi butler, which is very convenient. You can turn on the lights, turn on the TV, It is very convenient to turn on the air conditioner. The toilet is also smart. The most important thing is that their toothbrush is very good. It is not disposable. The bristles of the toothbrush are soft. Before leaving, the store manager gave me 2 of them. The check-in experience is very good , their private kitchen is also good, the price is fair, I will choose here again next time

WWhere spirit leadsThe location is very close to all the major shopping areas. There is central heating but not temperature is not too warm. The bedroom has a wall that shield you from the bathroom. Minor drawback is the electric outlet in the bathroom and desk area not practically located. The better walk to the hotel is from Dongfeng Guangchang metro station.
