5-Star Hotels in Santorini

We’ve just returned from a truly perfect 9-night stay at Katikies Santorini and already wish we were back. From start to finish, everything was faultless. Sofia and the entire team were absolutely brilliant – genuinely warm, attentive without ever being overbearing, and always going the extra mile to make our stay special. The hotel itself is immaculate, beautifully kept, and the views are simply incredible – one of those places that really does live up to the photos (if not exceed them). Waking up to that caldera view each morning never got old. Breakfast was absolutely amazing - one the best! We also found that most guests tend to stay just a night or two and move on quite quickly. Having spent nine nights here, I’d honestly recommend staying at least a week, if not longer, to properly take it all in. It’s one of those places that isn’t meant to be rushed – the pace, the views, the atmosphere all deserve a bit more time. Being among the few guests staying longer really allowed us to appreciate it fully, and it made the whole experience feel that much more special. It’s rare to find somewhere that gets every detail right, but Katikies really does. We felt completely looked after throughout and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. A very special place – we’ll definitely be returning.

I booked Acroterra Rosa Luxury Suites less than 24 hours before checking in, and from the moment I arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. Every single member of staff from the managers to the team went above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable. As I was celebrating my 30th birthday and travelling solo, I mentioned it during my stay. To my surprise, they upgraded me to a beautiful suite with a private hot tub overlooking the pool and the breathtaking caldera. They also welcomed me with large bottles of water and a bottle of white wine, which was such a thoughtful touch. I had dinner at the hotel on my first night, and the food was absolutely delicious fresh, flavourful, and perfectly seasoned. The following day, the team even arranged a complimentary massage using high-quality products, which was incredibly relaxing and made me feel truly pampered. I also needed a late check-out, and they kindly allowed me to stay in my room until 1:00 pm at no extra charge, something I really appreciated. Although the hotel isn’t located in Oia or Fira, it’s perfectly positioned with stunning views towards both, offering a peaceful retreat away from the crowds while still being just a short drive from the island’s main attractions. The breakfast each morning was delightful, with a great selection including fresh fruit and yogurt and beautiful views to start the day. This was my first time in Santorini, and thanks in no small part to Acroterra Rosa Luxury Suites, it certainly won’t be my last. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and will definitely be returning. Thank you for making my milestone birthday so special!

The room facilities are OK, the bedding is comfortable, the swimming pool is heated but small, the breakfast is a menu, the taste and ingredients are good, and there are slight differences every day. There is a turndown service, and different bedtime gifts are given every day. The scenery is also nice, facing the volcano. The only downside is that there is a charge for carrying luggage, and it is a long way from the parking lot to the hotel. I have to climb up and down every day, which is not suitable for people with bad legs and feet.

This is a must-visit sunset accommodation. The location is fantastic, and the service is top-notch. It's superbly managed, and I highly recommend it. The sunset is breathtaking. The service is impeccable. This is Santorini's #1 accommodation. You won't regret it. Highly recommended.

設施：入住時洗手間桑拿設施壞了，浴缸熱水一直上不來不能泡浴缸。 衞生：衞生打掃還是相當不錯的。 環境：環境還是要吐槽一下，地理位置相當不錯佔了整個懸崖，但是距離遊輪的穿梭小船太近太近，遊輪排出的廢氣會飄到我們酒店，導致空氣質量特別差，無論是泡私人浴缸還是私人泳池都要忍受廢棄味道。有點像對着汽車尾氣在泡澡，嚴重影響體驗，覺得酒店這一點配不上幾萬的價格。但是風景還是相當優美的，看風景不錯。 服務：服務過關，但我住過同級別上萬一晚的酒店，對比下來還是覺得這個酒店配不上上萬一晚的價格。提供豪車免費接送服務，這一點還是很不錯的。前台和服務人員感覺專業上不如中國大陸同級別上萬一晚酒店的服務人員專業。但是總體島上大概也是比較chill的風格所以應該是普遍情況。 個人認為我的評價非常中坑客觀，由於住過很多高端酒店，對酒店要求高，因此對比下來這個酒店整體沒達到預期。不過每個人心理預期不一樣，所以我的評價僅供參考。

Service: I want to give a huge shout-out to the handsome Greek gentleman at the front desk. His service was meticulous and attentive; he helped us book a rental car, recommended boat tours, and suggested sightseeing routes. He also pre-ordered breakfast based on our preferences and even helped us load our luggage into the car when we left, as there was a rocky path that was difficult to navigate. Extremely professional! On the island, you have to drink bottled water, and the hotel provided a bottle daily, which was a great touch for guests. Environment: It's very close to the Mediterranean Sea, so you can lie back and gaze at the blue sky. Right outside, you can access the Fira cliffside walkway, perfect for seeing the blue-domed churches. Facilities: Quite new, and comes with toiletries and disposable slippers. Cleanliness: Generally good, cleaned daily, very spotless.

I took a taxi from the airport, but I couldn't go directly to the front of the hotel by car and took a suitcase. It is also close to the main street, so it is a very good place for sightseeing in Fira. The view from the hotel is also very good. The number of breakfast items is small, but there were also a la carte * menu. On the way back, I arranged a taxi from the hotel, but it was very helpful to carry my luggage from the hotel to the taxi. Overall, I think it was very good in terms of the ease of sightseeing in the scenery in Fira.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful, peaceful and relaxing stay This hotel is incredible — spotless, beautifully maintained, full of space, and has such a lovely atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, the welcome drink was a wonderful gesture and gave us a very warm and friendly welcome. The hotel grounds are spacious and beautifully kept, with large swimming pools, restaurants with lovely views, a separate children’s play area, and plenty of space to relax. Everything around the hotel felt neat, clean, fresh and peaceful. The rooms themselves were comfortable, but for us, the best thing about the hotel was the peace, quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Although the hotel is slightly outside the main town centre, this is actually a big advantage. Fira town is only around a 12-minute walk away, with beautiful sea views along the way. You get the convenience of being close to the town while still having a peaceful and spacious place to stay. The reception team were wonderful. Christin and all the other team members were lovely, friendly and extremely helpful. I would also especially like to thank the lady manager. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask her name, but she deserves special recognition. She was always around the hotel, checking on guests, smiling, and ready to help whenever needed. Her friendly presence really made a difference to our stay, and I believe she deserves a lot of credit. A very special thank you also goes to the chefs and the entire restaurant team. We were travelling with our young baby, who has specific food requirements, and the chef kindly prepared her meals according to our instructions. They were always happy to prepare the food for us whenever we needed it, from early morning until late at night. This level of care and flexibility meant a lot to our family, and we are extremely grateful. The breakfast was also excellent — fresh, healthy, tasty and with a good variety of choices. One area that I feel the hotel should seriously look into Unfortunately, our experience with the taxi driver arranged through the hotel was very disappointing. We booked a hotel taxi three times — from the airport to the hotel, from the hotel back to the airport, and from the hotel to Oia — and on all three occasions the same driver came. Sadly, he was not friendly or welcoming and, in our experience, his behaviour came across as quite rude. This was particularly disappointing because the taxi service was arranged through a 5-star hotel, and the driver is therefore part of the overall guest experience and, in some ways, represents the hotel's reputation. A warm, polite and friendly taxi driver should be the continuation of the welcome guests receive from the hotel. Unfortunately, this driver's attitude really affected our mood on those occasions. I genuinely hope the hotel can look into this and provide appropriate customer-service training, because I would not want other guests to have the same experience. Apart from the taxi experience, everything about our stay was wonderful. The hotel itself, the staff, the food, the cleanliness, the atmosphere and the peaceful location were all excellent. A big thank you to the entire hotel team for making our stay so comfortable and memorable. We truly appreciate all the care and kindness we received, especially towards our baby. We would happily recommend this hotel and would love to return again in the future. ❤️

I used it on my honeymoon. The staff who can speak Japanese is very good, and thank you for your help! !! Basically it was nice to be beautiful, but I was a little worried because the cleaning was not done properly in the details (such as the edges) and there was a place where dust was accumulated. After that, the flight time on the last day was early and I couldn't make it in time for breakfast, so I was asked to respond with room service, but it was too terrible. The breakfast buffet was perfectly nice, but in room service, I was surprised with 3 thin breads that were not warm, small jam, and cold small coffee. ..

Firstly: The Hotel itself is really good Shame about the management and reservation department. I booked a Jacuzzi Premium Suite – Outdoor Jacuzzi (Sea View) month and a half ahead because we have 2 adult and 2 kids so i email a month ahead to let them know. They reply confirmed me everything is fine I just have to pay 30 Euro extra for each night which im fine about it. i got to the hotel at 9:30 at night and they told me they dont have record about adding an extra person. It took me a good 20 minutes showing them emails and confirmation to work out. than they took us to a different room for the night. they told us the room I booked will be ready the next day between noon to 2. I have plan to go out but end up waiting for the room changing. Secondly: We only got given 4 bottle of water out of the 4 days we stayed there. I mean being a five star hotel you can't even spare 4 bottles of water each day? When i ask for bottle of water they try to charge me 5 Euro per bottle.
