My top choice for business trips to Kunming is the Ibis Styles Nanping Pedestrian Street! The location is superb, close to the subway and the Nanping Street commercial area. The room is clean, the mattress is comfortable, and the soundproofing is good. The front desk service is efficient and thoughtful, making it perfect for both work and rest. It has excellent facilities and great value for money. I'll definitely stay here again next time.

The bougainvillea in the courtyard is absolutely beautiful, and the environment is very comfortable. You can play billiards and table tennis here. The food in the restaurant is also delicious. It's quite close to Green Lake and the subway station, making it convenient for getting around.

This is my second time choosing the Grand Park Hotel by Cuihu Lake, having stayed in Kunming a few times. The location is truly a 'hidden gem' – No. 20 Honghua Bridge, within a ten-minute walk to the Yunnan Military Academy, Yunnan University, and Wenlin Street. You can even see the shimmering waters of Cuihu Lake from your window. It's a well-established five-star hotel; while it's older, it's well-maintained. The solid wood furniture and ethnic patterned carpets give it a distinct Yunnanese vibe, rather than a trendy, 'influencer-style' aesthetic. The extra-long windows in the room are a highlight. This hotel is perfect for city walks around the Cuihu Lake area, for those traveling with seniors, or guests who prefer not to change locations frequently. However, if you're looking for brand-new facilities or an 'Instagrammable' pool, you might want to consider other options.

The room was decent, well-equipped, and the cleanliness was satisfactory. The environment was especially good; vibrant streets were right downstairs, yet the hotel upstairs was surprisingly quiet, which was very convenient. Within about 100 meters downstairs, there are many breakfast shops, making it super easy to grab meals and snacks. There are also two large shopping malls right below, which I loved for their convenience. I just forgot to take pictures when I left!

Location: Right in the heart of the city center, making it super convenient for shopping, exploring, and hitting all the tourist spots – all within walking distance! It's a really lively area. Facilities: This is a new hotel, and it's quite clean. The rooms must be disinfected after each guest, as I could smell a slight hint of bleach 😊 Service: Parking at the hotel isn't very convenient; it's in a building across the street. However, I was really touched when I called the front desk because I had too much luggage and couldn't find the elevator. Two lovely ladies from the front desk immediately came over to the parking lot to help me with my bags. Their service-mindedness is truly commendable!

The room was incredibly spacious, bright, and very quiet, with all the amenities you could ask for. The thoughtful floral touches throughout the room really showed the owner's dedication, creating a truly homely atmosphere. The bathroom was also large, with a separate wet and dry area, and that huge makeup mirror was a definite plus! There's even a washing machine and a smart toilet that was pleasantly warm – definitely a nice touch. For just over 100, finding a guesthouse like this felt like a steal! The only minor thing was having to pay extra for disposable bath and face towels, but I brought my own anyway. Plus, they offer free luggage storage for the next day, which was super convenient. There are plenty of places to eat and things to do nearby, making it a very convenient location. I highly recommend trying the braised chicken rice noodles downstairs – absolutely delicious!

The room may be small, depending on your choice, but the amenities are perfect — super clean, great shower, hot water, closets, clothing hooks, comfy beds. Great service friendly people, free water and laundry, and an excellent location. Highly recommend!

The environment of Zhongda Langyuan Hotel is clean and elegant, the rooms are comfortable and tidy, and the bedding is soft and sleepy. The front desk service is warm and intimate, the facilities are complete and cost-effective, the stay experience is excellent, highly recommended!

This stay exceeded my expectations. The hotel is surrounded by many restaurants, and it's super convenient for shopping and sightseeing. The room was clean and odor-free, the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, and the mattress was just right – not too soft, not too firm. The staff were attentive and patient, and the environment was quiet, not noisy at all. It's a perfect place to stay for travel, and I'll definitely choose it again next time I'm in the area.

Ending my trip to Kunming, the one place I'm most excited to share is this amazing stay. The location is absolutely superb, and the experience was truly exceptional. The geographical position is fantastic; it's so convenient whether you want to visit Cuihu Park or the old town. It's a three-story standalone building with a great design, a very trendy industrial-chic vibe, and the courtyard is full of lush greenery, making it quiet and elegant. Every photo I took in the room looked incredible! You can relax with a bath or enjoy a movie in the evening. I really appreciate the dry/wet separation in the bathroom, and the bedding was super clean and comfortable—I slept soundly until morning. The staff were genuinely wonderful and attentive, offering a butler-style service. They'd confirm breakfast times in advance, and you could choose between rice noodles or Western-style simple meals. If you didn't feel like going downstairs, they'd even deliver it to your room. In the evening, if you wanted to unwind, you could order some drinks and BBQ. My trip to Kunming was truly chill!
