Super efficient pick-up service- appreciate the speediness as our flight landed in the wee hours of the morning. Great location being close to the airport for us to rest up. There are multiple dedicated check in porches which provides a private check-in service. Room and bedsheets are clean, with the pillows being super comfortable as a plus! Strongly recommended! :)

We had a very enjoyable stay at Holiday Inn Kunming. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for our family of four. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the train station, making it a great choice for travelers catching an early morning train. A special thank you to Harriet and Amy at reception. We had some issues with a food delivery order, and they were quick to assist and follow up until everything was sorted out. Their helpfulness made our stay much smoother. The hotel also has good self-service laundry facilities, with washing machines and dryers that worked very well, a big plus for families and longer trips. There are plenty of good food options nearby too. We found a great local restaurant just a 5-minute walk from the hotel and have included a photo for reference. Overall, a comfortable stay with friendly service and a very convenient location. We would gladly stay here again.

Choosing this hotel for my Kunming trip was an absolutely brilliant decision! My overall stay was perfect, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Guandu or Dounan. The room was meticulously cleaned; the desk, corners, and bathroom areas were spotless. The bedding was neat and soft, and the room had excellent natural light and ventilation, making for a very reassuring and comfortable stay. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and polite throughout, handling check-in efficiently and quickly. They even proactively helped us plan our sightseeing routes and patiently answered all our travel questions – truly thoughtful and attentive service. The hotel has its own exclusive parking lot, which is super convenient for self-driving, with plenty of spaces so you don't have to hunt around. The location is absolutely fantastic, right next to the subway station for easy public transport access. You can walk to Guandu Ancient Town, and it's just a short drive to Dounan Flower Market to browse fresh flowers. The most delightful surprise was the complimentary exquisite desserts and fresh fruit provided by the hotel upon check-in – full of thoughtful details that created a wonderful ambiance. This hotel offers incredible value for money, perfect for both leisure travelers and short-term stays. I'll definitely choose it again next time I'm in Kunming.

The front desk lady provided excellent service. As soon as I entered the lobby, she proactively offered me tea. The room's cleanliness was impeccable, absolutely spotless, and there wasn't a single piece of trash in the hallway – it looked incredibly comfortable. I spoke with their housekeeping supervisor, who was very meticulous in explaining their work process. Thumbs up for a fantastic housekeeping supervisor!

I always meticulously check reviews before traveling now. First off, it's really close to the train station, just a couple of intersections away. Secondly, I noticed other guests praising the service. When I arrived in the evening, the staff had already contacted me in advance and warmly explained everything. My food delivery hadn't arrived yet, and the staff, concerned about a long wait, arranged for it to be brought up to my room. They were also very thoughtful in explaining the breakfast options. The room itself was quite spacious, perfect for a family of three, and the hallway was pretty quiet.

Service: The service was absolutely fantastic! I was experiencing altitude sickness when I arrived, and the lady at the front desk was incredibly helpful, assisting me with various adjustments. She even guided me late at night on how to order oxygen tank delivery (the small shop downstairs, run by non-hotel staff, sold them, but the owner was often absent, and prices weren't clearly marked, making purchases difficult). I was able to change my room if I wasn't satisfied and even got a free upgrade. Cleanliness: The room was very clean and tidy. Environment: There was a slight furniture smell inside, but it wasn't a big issue. The hotel's external location is right next to the train station, within walking distance of Kunming Railway Station. Facilities: The facilities were quite comprehensive, and the front desk staff did their best to accommodate requests.

This was the cheapest hotel we stayed at during our Yunnan trip, and also the one with the absolute best service! First, they offer subway station pick-up and airport transfer services. On the day of check-in, they send a reminder just in case you're unaware of these services. Upon arrival, you're immediately offered a glass of water, and then they thoughtfully help you arrange your airport transfer times. The room itself is fully smart-enabled, which is really impressive. But what touched us the most was that our flight was at 5 AM the next day, and we had scheduled a 4 AM airport drop-off. We came down about ten minutes early, expecting to wait a bit for the driver. To our surprise, even before 4 AM, a young man and a front desk lady were already waiting for us! They even kindly gave us two breakfast boxes to take on the road (we hadn't paid for breakfast). As soon as we stepped out of the hotel, the car was already waiting right at the entrance. The service was so incredible that we actually wondered if we really only paid 100 RMB, haha!

This hotel deserves a five-star review! The decor has a unique charm, completely free of that cold, impersonal feeling you often get in hotels; instead, it feels wonderfully homey everywhere you look. It's incredibly close to the airport, and the shuttle service was perfectly on time, so there was absolutely no stress about missing my flight or being delayed. The front desk staff were exceptionally warm, kind, and attentive—their hospitality almost made me blush! Check-in was very efficient, so I didn't have to wait around. The hotel restaurant's food was amazing, with a delicious homemade flavor that truly felt like eating a meal at home. The 'wok hei' (smoky breath of the wok) was perfect, and the taste was genuinely excellent. The guest rooms were spotless, with every detail of cleanliness meticulously handled. Overall, I was satisfied in every aspect. I highly recommend it for anyone needing a layover or transfer!

Surroundings: External environment: Take my advice, just order takeout. This place is in the middle of nowhere. It takes half an hour to walk to a livelier residential area, and in between, it's all national highway. Downstairs, you can see planes flying overhead, but it's not noisy in the room; you can't hear them. Facilities: Given the brand, the items aren't bad. The basic rooms have the sink in the room, which I personally don't like. Washing up disturbs others' sleep. It's fine if you're staying alone. I chose this place because it has laundry facilities. If you also need to do laundry, make sure to ask the front desk to put you on the 15th floor. I was exhausted running up and down for laundry. The shower in the room is great; hot water comes out instantly and the water pressure is good. You can't turn the faucet on full blast at the sink, or water splashes all over the room. Service: There's no service. Breakfast starts at 6:30 AM and dinner ends at 5:30 PM. I left at 5:30 AM and asked for a boiled egg, but they said breakfast hadn't started yet and dinner had already ended, so no. The robot service is pretty good; it delivers everything, including takeout and lighters. Full marks to the robots. Hygienic: The washing machine is quite clean, and the room is also clean. The hotel is 10-15 minutes from the airport. Shuttles depart every hour, but not on the hour, more like 5:30, 6:30, etc.

Loved our room, it was spacious but cosy enough for three people! It fit out large suitcases comfortably, the shower pressure was powerful and there was as smart toilet. The hotel is nice and modern, the lobby is big with a Chinese tea station. The breakfast selection was ample, there was a few types of noodle you can choose from. We stayed in B Block which the Front Desk said was quieter - and it was. Laundry was in A Block but the walk from B to A is quick. All the parcels are stored on shelves in the lobby, free for you to grab/find yourself. It is a bit of walk from the closest metro station (it is uphill) so maybe difficult if you have luggage, but luckily catching a taxi or calling a Didi was extremely easy in Kunming so best to travel by car if you can. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again!
